“So… this is my current form…” murmuring to himself, Yu Zi Yu gazed toward a violet pool not far away.

It was the materialization of the Void Energy, condensed into liquid form due to high concentration, taking the shape of a pool resembling the starry sky.

“And now, reflected upon its surface, Yu Zi Yu saw precisely what Anzuiel had described. Amidst a haze of violet, six wings fluttered gently behind him. At the tip of each wing trailed a single long plume, casting radiant specks of violet light, resembling twinkling stars.

These glowing violet motes danced and fell, painting cold yet beautiful arcs.

At a glance, they looked extremely cold, distant, and mysterious. However, what drew his eyes more than anything was the figure attached to those six wings.

Its facial features were obscured in a misty blur, and its slender frame looked almost fragile.

But even so, there was no mistaking it. This was a form of nobility, of unearthly grace. Like a monarch walking among the Mortals, his presence radiated an unmistakable air of authority.

And if one looked deeper, and paid closer attention to its eyes, they would find them impossibly deep and fascinating like the abyss. More importantly, they gave a vague yet absurd illusion of time lapse.

It was hard to explain, yet it sent a tremor through the Soul.

And that was the current Yu Zi Yu, his appearance which would step into the starry skies.

“The King above all… the one whispered as the ‘Oldest Emperor’…” mumbling to himself, a plan formed in Yu Zi Yu’s heart.

He decided to use the identity of the Soaring Purple Dragon.

And this Humanoid Form of his, it would simply be seen as the Purple Dragon’s Humanoid Form.

As for the real Soaring Purple Dragon, it would go into slumber… and absorb the guidance of the Supreme Principle of Infinity.

Now that Yu Zi Yu bore the Supreme Principle of Spacetime, his understanding of them had deepened tremendously.

Every Supreme Principle was unique. Each selected its inheritor with incredible harshness.

For instance, to inherit the Principle of Infinity, one must have come into contact with three Superior Principles: Growth, Conversion, and Devouring.

But more importantly, its host must slumber, often and so deep that his or her consciousness was in a confused state.

Only then could the Supreme Principle seize control of the host’s body, and guide its evolution.

Fortunately, the Soaring Purple Dragon was Yu Zi Yu’s Second Form, which he rarely controlled.

And thus, by some freak combination of factors, it had earned the favor of the Principle of Infinity.

Chuckling to himself, Yu Zi Yu was again impressed by how strange and arcane these Supreme Principles were.

Take the Principle of Reincarnation for instance, an equally bizarre Principle rumored to be another Supreme Principle.

There had once been a peerless genius who slept constantly. And yet, in sleep, he ascended to the Half-Eternal Realm.

Why? Because he had comprehended the Principle of Reincarnation. Each time he slept, he entered a new cycle of Samsara. He would experience birth and death with every turn.

Eventually, this being even created the legendary Grand Divine Ability known as the Great Dream of Three Thousand Worlds.

“Come to think of it, aside from the Supreme Principle of Spacetime, all the other Supreme Principles seem… strange. They all rely on ‘Fate’… and Fate… is the most mysterious force of all.”

Sighing over and over, Yu Zi Yu found himself feeling grateful over the fact that his own path, the Supreme Principle of Spacetime, didn’t impose such eccentric demands.

However, he overlooked one thing: While the Supreme Principle of Spacetime may not be strange and have strange prerequisites, it had a far higher threshold.

Time, Space, each was a cosmic Principle that few dared approach.

And to master both and fuse them, it was a feat more absurd than any other Supreme Principle could require.

…

Time was never in short supply in the Void.

And in the silence of the Void, Yu Zi Yu began adjusting to his new form, or rather, to the six violet wings at his back… which felt less like weapons and more like natural extensions of his being.

*Booooom…* A deafening roar echoed out as those violet wings fiercely flapped, stirring up a fearsome shockwave that surged through the Void.

The shockwave seemed to materialize, taking the shape of a towering violet tsunami, sweeping forth across the Void.

*Boooooom..* In the blink of an eye, the monstrous wave of tsunami swept through hundreds of thousands of kilometers, obliterating even the very fabric of space.

“Not bad… I’m starting to get the hang of it. It feels just like moving my own limbs.”

A faint smile tugged the corners of his lips as satisfaction welled within him.

These were the Wings of the Void. Or rather, wings that belonged solely to him. They moved at the flicker of a thought, as naturally as his hands and feet.

And this… was where the true terror of the Sixteen Holy Wings lay.

What it bestowed upon its host was no mere tool, but genuine wings woven from the Void itself.

What was even more amazing, or rather terrifying, these wings would grow as the host grew, evolve as he evolved.

And the deeper Yu Zi Yu grasped this truth, the more awe he felt.

“If I were Human… this pair of wings alone could have granted me the Bloodline of some odd Void Angels…” He murmured with amusement, utterly pleased.

After all, these pairs of wings were proving to be really useful to him.

At any time, should the need arise, he could channel the very power of the Sixteen Holy Wings through them.

In essence, they were independent of the Imperial Artifact, and yet, paradoxically, they were also its medium.

Thus, it was no wonder that Anzuiel boldly claimed: ‘No one will recognize them as an Imperial Artifact, nor know they are my creation.’

…

Just as Yu Zi Yu was growing more attuned to the new wings on his back, a sudden voice stirred him from his focus: “Master, the Void… has already gathered.”

“Already?” With a soft smile, Yu Zi Yu rose to his feet.

*Booooom…* A terrifying wave of pressure skyrocketed, while a vast tornado of violet energy pierced the sky.

“What’s that…!?”

“This presence…!”

“Heavens…”

…

Exclamations echoed one after another as countless Void Creatures, already gathered not far off, raised their heads in disbelief.

Vaguely, they could see a lone figure walking slowly out of the endless depths of the Void.

*Tap, tap…* The sound of each footstep was like a hammer on their hearts.

Even the mighty Void Creatures, who were revered to as Kings, couldn’t stop their Souls from trembling.

[A Tier-6? No… it’s far beyond that. Not even a Half-Step Hegemon possesses such Soul-crushing, world-splitting momentum…]
