Just then, as if recalling something, Sarcosuchus suddenly asked, “Master, if I remember correctly… doesn’t the Heavenly Court already have a few Tier-6s. Among them, Crimson Emperor and Black Emperor even fought against Fifth Brother, didn’t they?”

“That’s true.” Yu Zi Yu also acknowledged it with a nod.

However, in the next moment, his tone shifted as he posed a question instead, “Do you think any of them are true Humans?”

“Uh…” Stunned, a moment of silence ensued.

[True Humans? What’s that supposed to mean?]

Before his confusion could deepen, Yu Zi Yu immediately explained, “The Crimson Emperor’s original form is most likely a Spirit Snake. He must have received one of the imperial legacies of the Heavenly Court, the Crimson Emperor’s inheritance. That is how he rose to become a powerhouse. As for Black Emperor, I couldn’t discern his True Body, but I highly doubt he’s a true Human either.”

Pausing for a beat, Yu Zi Yu elaborated, “Some inheritances… can alter the very essence of life. Like the Elemental Fruit I gave to Qing Gang, or the Blood Vine that fused with Thorns. These things can change one’s Bloodline… and once the Bloodline changes, the Heaven’s Shackles within are erased as well. So, the current Tier-6s of the Heavenly Court, not a single one of them is a pureblood Human. That much is certain.”

Realization finally dawned on Sarcosuchus.

[So that’s how it’s… No wonder those beings were so formidable. Turns out, none of them were actually Pureblood Humans.]

“There are many pure Humans… but for a pureblood Human to reach Tier-6, it’s unimaginably difficult.” Saying this, Yu Zi Yu gazed deeply at Dark King, still howling at the sky and radiating overwhelming power, and stated frankly, “Look at Dark King. His talent is astounding, and he is incredibly hardworking … yet only now has he broken into Tier-6. Keep in mind, our Demon Court is one of the most resource-rich Forces in the universe. In terms of foundation alone, we’re second to none. Yet even with such a deep foundation, with so many resources…”

Yu Zi Yu couldn’t help but sigh at the hardship of cultivating as a pure Human.

Dark King lacked nothing. He did not lack talent, not resources, not opportunity! Yet, it still took him this long.

Then what of ordinary pureblood Humans? How could they even dream of cultivation?

With a bitter smile, Yu Zi Yu felt a tinge of sorrow for the Human Race.

But ultimately, there was no one else to blame.

After all, the Human Race had once shone brilliantly in the past. Unfortunately, it was their descendants who bore the burden of that sin…

*Haaaa…* With a soft sigh, Yu Zi Yu once again raised his gaze toward Dark King.

Roaring toward the sky, the aura erupting from was so terrifying that he looked no different than a Devil.

His increasingly wild aura churned the very Heaven and Earth.

However, that wasn’t what was terrifying.

What was truly terrifying was the emergence of complex and fearsome runes all across Dark King’s body.

“Primal… Savagery…” Murmuring to himself, a gleam flickered in Yu Zi Yu’s eyes.

These were Principle Runes. What they represented were precisely Primal and Savagery.

However, what made them noteworthy was their ancient origin. They didn’t resemble conventional Principles…Rather, they felt more like a Dao, like traces of an ancient civilization.

The reason why these two Principles had manifested on Dark King was likely because he carried the Primality and Savagery of the Human Race.

In simple terms, Dark King represented one possible path for the Human Race’s evolution, toward a more primitive and ancient evolution, unlocking the fullest extent of physical potential, and excavating the oldest of bloodlines.

Whereas modern Humans, with ever-evolving brains, had been moving toward the direction of intelligence, symbolizing Wisdom.

Savagery and Wisdom, while they were opposite to each other, they complemented each other well.

They were the dual essence imprinted upon the Human Race.

Just as Angels represented Light and Speed…

Just as Titans symbolized Growth and Strength…

So too, Humans bore the marks of Wisdom and Savagery.

…

“But… I wonder if Dark King’s Dao Physique has been unsealed?” Yu Zi Yu’s eyes shone with curiosity.

All the Humans were born with an Innate Dao Physique, and were closest to the Principles. This was precisely what made them so terrifying, and why all races prefer Humanoid Forms for communication?

One major reason was that the Human Form, being closest to the Principles, was the most suitable for comprehending the Dao…

And among all races, Humans were the most perfect embodiments of the Dao Physique.

However, ever since the emergence of the Gene Lock, this so-called Dao Physique had disappeared.

Their senses were sealed so much so that even with Principles swirling right beside them, they could no longer sense them…

But now, there was hope again.

With a hint of anticipation, Yu Zi Yu gazed toward Dark King.

“Mas…ter…” A sudden call stirred the corners of Yu Zi Yu’s lips into a smile.

Following the voice, he turned to look only to see the figure at the center of the Spiritual Energy storm slowly turning his head, locking eyes with Yu Zi Yu with blazing intensity.

“Congratulations on your breakthrough…” With a hearty laugh, Yu Zi Yu offered his congratulations.

“It is all thanks to your grace, Master…” Ever courteous, Dark King dropped to one knee and bowed low in reverence.

Yu Zi Yu did not stop him.

This was simply Dark King’s way of doing things. He valued etiquette above all else. Whenever he met Yu Zi Yu, he always greeted him in a formal manner.

Now…

Taking a step forward, Yu Zi Yu crossed space and arrived near Dark King.

“How do you feel?” Yu Zi Yu asked in a gentle voice, curious about the nature of Dark King’s breakthrough.

“Better than I’ve ever felt before…” With a faint smile, Dark King began to describe his condition in simple terms.

He had long known about the Human Race’s Gene Lock.

In fact, he had once approached Yu Zi Yu to discuss it, prompting Yu Zi Yu to gather elite Human scientists from Earth to attempt a technological breakthrough…

However, it proved to be a fruitless errand.

The Gene Lock, also known as the Heaven’s Shackles, could not be easily broken. If it were, it wouldn’t have been able to bind the entire Human Race for so long.

One could either abandon their identity as a pureblood Human to break free, or they could carry the shackles and continue cultivating with a difficulty a hundred times greater than others…

And now, Dark King had succeeded.

After centuries of perseverance, leveraging countless plans drafted by the scientists of the Human Race and drawing upon the Demon Court’s overwhelming resources, he had finally broken through.

And this hard-earned success was more than worth it.

For now, the Human Race’s destiny had gathered upon him, unlocking a deeper layer of power within his very being: Primal and Savagery. These were two most ancient forces, capable of immensely suppressing all external powers.

As for how terrifying they were?

Put simply, once Dark King unleashed his Primal Power, everything around him would revert to its most primitive form to that of the Stone Age.

At that point, conventional Spirit Artifacts, technology, and more would suffer immense reductions in effectiveness or even fail entirely.

And Savagery? There was little need for explanation.

It represented strength, might, and unrelenting fury, perfectly suited for a physical powerhouse like Dark King.
