Original Sin of the Void, a title representing the Supreme Powerhouse of the Void Clan.

One after another, the Void Emperors handpicked by Yu Zi Yu would cast aside their independence and become ‘Original Sins’, supreme creatures of Void who would follow him, unerringly.

Yu Zi Yu had already made up his mind: He, as the Oldest Void Emperor, would declare war upon the Myriad Races.

Though the Void Clan was currently no match for the countless races in the stars, it mattered not.

With Yu Zi Yu as their leader, tilting the balance between them would not be difficult.

More importantly, such a position would grant him the perfect excuse to probe the foundation of every race in existence.

And if he happened to take a liking to one, then he’d strike.

Without hesitation. Without apology.

Such was the privilege of power.

A faint smile touched his lips. Satisfied, Yu Zi Yu allowed himself a breath of quiet amusement.

But then, as if remembering something, his gaze turned downward, toward his shoulder, where the Five-Colored Spirit Flower still rested, suspended in a frozen bloom.

Raising his right hand, he gently caressed her petal, and started muttering, his voice soft and almost sorrowful, “Just a little longer… I’ll find a treasure worthy of healing your Quintessence.”

Then, his eyes once more lifted to the Void.

Farther out… there were still two others lingering in the depths.

Apparently, his earlier eruption of power had alarmed them. Their auras now flickered with fear, and they were showing signs of retreating.

After all, the presence of Tier-7 was no small thing.

To the likes of the Troll King or the Void Emperor, Arsenal, while it had gone unnoticed, but to him, the Sacred Son of Buddha, who had come with an Imperial Artifact, the truth struck instantly.

“Run! Run! That’s a Tier-7 Void Lifeform!” Filled with disbelief, the panicked cry of the Great Thunderclap Monastery’s Artifact Spirit rang in the Sacred Son of Buddha’s mind.

“What!!?” The Sacred Son paled, horror painting itself across his handsome features.

Then, he channeled his Spiritual Energy, and the ancient monastery resting behind him, the Great Thunderclap Monastery, erupted with blinding golden light.

Sanskrit chants echoed like thunder, and a huge golden Swastik symbol (卍) rose into the air, radiating divine authority.

This was the mark of the Buddhist Sect.

And the rise of it marked that the monastery had begun to awaken in full.

However, right then…

“Where do you think you’re going?” A calm, whispering voice rippled through the Void like a breeze through still water.

And in an instant, the Void froze, literally.

Everything, from sound to starlight, from breath to thought, as a ripple fanned outward, they fell into stillness, seemingly frozen in time.

And from the far edge of nothingness, a lone figure stepped forward.

Graceful and incomparable, the figure so otherworldly that it could not be defined in words alone.

Draped in a flowing violet coat, long silver-grey hair cascading like starlight… his every footstep sent ripples through the Void.

And these ripples seemed to aground the Time itself, freezing everything in place.

However, that was yet not the most terrifying thing.

Just when the figure appeared, the Soaring Azure Dragon, who had been locked in battle with the Sacred Son for more than ten days, suddenly raised its massive head.

*Tap…* Then, a single step fell, and Yu Zi Yu, now fully Human Form, landed atop the Dragon’s head with ease.

At the same time, a supreme aura that belonged to the Void suddenly erupted.

*Boooooom…* The aura was so dense and overwhelming, it seemed almost tangible—shaping itself into the most terrifying Void Storm ever witnessed.

Massive amount of Void Energy converged from the horizon, as a hurricane of purple chaos spiraled downward from the Heavens, converging atop Yu Zi Yu’s figure like a crown of destruction.

At the sight of this, the Sacred Son of Buddha’s facial features tightened. Then, he asked, “W-Who…are…you…?”

One word at a time. Each syllable heavier than the last.

However, even as he asked, realization bloomed in his eyes.

He sighed, and his gaze…calmed.

The moment had come. Fear would serve no purpose now.

Better to face this unknowable enemy with a clear mind and an unshaken heart.

[Just how… is this possible!? Even the boundless starry sky, home to countless Races, we haven’t given birth to a Hegemon, and yet, the Void, had birthed the first Tier-7 Lifeform? How!? This is unbelievable!!!]

[More terrifying still… everything seems to be frozen, as if locked in time itself, only his long figure appears alive and breathing.]

“This is… Time…” mumbling a voice tinged with disbelief, even the Great Thunderclap Monastery’s Spirit fell silent.

Time, the most formidable of the Superior Principles, equal in majesty to Space. It was the King among Principles.

And much to their disbelief, a dweller of the Void had mastered it and achieved Hegemony.

[No wonder even the Purple Dragon, that once carried the potential to inherit the Supreme Principle, has become nothing more than a steed beneath his feet.]

*Hoo…* A deep exhale, heavy with pressure, left the Artifact Spirit’s consciousness.

Then, with unexpected calm, it spoke directly to the Sacred Son’s heart, “Run! At any cost! Run! And spread the word: there is one in the Void… who has mastered the Principle of Time and ascended to the Realm of Hegemony!”

“I understand,” the Sacred Son responded in his heart, his expression composed and unchanged.

And in the very next moment…

*Boooom…* An overwhelming surge of power exploded toward the Heavens.

Sanskrit chants flooded the void, and golden Buddhist light enveloped all.

The once-humble Great Thunderclap Monastery swelled with divine grandeur, transforming into a magnificent golden palace. And high atop the monastery’s summit, the Sacred Son seated himself, legs folded in serene meditation.

“My Buddha, Tathāgata…” A soft whisper left his lips.

And behind him, an ancient figure slowly emerged, flickering like an illusion.

This was Tathāgata, the oldest Buddha of the Buddhist Sect, a being with unfathomable power.

Though it was just a projection, it was infused with awe-inspiring power.

Even so, it may prove to be meaningless, for a chuckle escaped Yu Zi Yu and his form vanished.

Completely! Silently! And without a trace!

“Eye of Truth!” With a sudden roar, a golden beam burst from the Sacred Son’s brow.

The Eye of Truth was one of the Six Divine Abilities of the Buddhist Sect.

With it, one could see near or far, grand or minute. No object could escape its gaze.

Those who had mastered it to Advance level were said to see through past, present, and future across the Ten Directions of the World.

Of course, Yu Zi Yu never believed such legends.

Still, that did not matter.

The Sacred Son’s Heavenly Eye swept across the Void, tirelessly searching for Yu Zi Yu’s figure.

However, no matter where he looked, he found nothing, not even a hint or a shadow.

“Where… where did he go?”

Suspicion rose in the Sacred Son’s heart. His face tightened.

However, he failed to notice, another figure had already crossed from one time-space to another, walking slowly toward him

Yu Zi Yu was walking in another dimension, like walking on the edge of Time and Space, silent and unseen.

Even the Great Thunderclap Monastery could not perceive him.

This was not a matter of power… but of Principle. The Time and Space Principles were too bizarre.

Furthermore, who could imagine that someone had truly shouldered the Supreme Principle of Spacetime, and become its living embodiment?

And that’s why, to others, Yu Zi Yu now appeared unfathomable. Impossible.

By the time they realized… they would already be dead without ever knowing why.

Just like now.

Standing silently before the Sacred Son, Yu Zi Yu raised a hand…

And with two fingers, gently pointed toward the center of the Sacred Son’s brow.
