*Hoo…* Yu Zi Yu took a long, deep breath as he prepared to make his final arrangements.

He was about to enter what might be the longest seclusion of his cultivation journey. And this seclusion was directly tied to his breakthrough to the Seventh Order.

There was no room for carelessness.

Thus, everything that needed to be done required him to take care of it before he entered seclusion, and also consider and prevent any potential mishaps that might occur.

With that in mind, Yu Zi Yu promptly ordered in a low yet majestic voice, “Summon Nine Tails, Sarcosuchus, and the others.”

“Understood, Master.” Respectfully acknowledging the order, Fredrica, who had been waiting here all along, turned and left to gather Nine Tails, Sarcosuchus, and the others.

Before long…

As Yu Zi Yu slowly lifted his gaze, one familiar figure after another entered his sight.

Nine Tails lay in the air, her entire body wreathed in flames, resembling a spirit born of fire. Six massive, sky-covering tails swayed gently, sending ripples of fire through the air.

Sarcosuchus remained still in the distance, his golden body gleaming as if forged from pure gold. His head, neither entirely draconic nor entirely beastly, bore cold, dragon-like eyes. Deep within those pupils, a savage gleam flickered.

As a hybrid of Dragon and Crocodile, Sarcosuchus bore some resemblance to the legendary Nether Dragon Serpent of the Dragon Clan.

However, he had yet to match a fully grown Nether Dragon Serpent.

After all, the Nether Dragon Serpent was a true Tier-6 Overlord.

That said, once Sarcosuchus reached Tier-6, he would likely be able to rival it.

This was thanks to his perfectly fused Dragon-Crocodile Bloodline, granting him the talents of Dragons and the ferocity of Crocodiles.

Apart from the two, there were also Brewmaster, Little Tenth, Qing Gang, Little White, Demonic Phoenix, Ling Er, and many others who stood quietly in the distance.

Some had changed so much over the years that they were nearly unrecognizable. Others remained just as they had been.

Yet, one thing was certain, the little ones he once sheltered from storms had all grown up.

Even Qing Gang, that simple-minded brute, had reached Tier-5, Intermediate-Stage, nearing the Late-Stage, enough to be considered a true powerhouse.

“We pay our respects to the Supreme Lord!”

“We pay our respects to the Supreme Lord!”

A unified shout shook the Heavens, bringing a faint smile to Yu Zi Yu’s lips.

“Good… good…” With a string of approving words, Yu Zi Yu’s gaze swept over the many Mutant Beasts before him.

Without further delay, he went straight to the point, stating, “I have gathered you all here to entrust you with some matters…”

“Master, are you going into seclusion again?” Sensing something unusual, Golden Monkey was the first to ask.

“En…” Yu Zi Yu nodded his acknowledgment. Making no attempt to hide it, he stated plainly, “I have sensed the opportunity for a breakthrough. Soon, I will enter a long period of seclusion.”

“A breakthrough…” Golden Monkey murmured, an odd look flashing across his face as he gazed at Yu Zi Yu.

[Master is already so powerful that it defied comprehension. I can no longer see through him. If he breaks through again, then wouldn’t he…]

Hearing this, Nine Tails and Sarcosuchus also began to realize something. However, before they could question further, Yu Zi Yu continued, “This time, my seclusion will be unlike any before. I will not be able to watch over the Demon Court. If a true crisis arises, my chances of intervening will slim to none. If the situation becomes unbearable, you may seek assistance from Zi Lian. However, if you do that, the connection between the Demon Court and the Void Clan will be exposed.”

A soft sigh escaped Yu Zi Yu as a tinge of helplessness welled up in his heart.

However, there was no other option.

At present, among his Forces, Zi Lian was the only one capable of holding the line.

Against Tier-6 Overlords, unless one had an opponent of the same level, any number of Tier-5 True Gods would be nothing more than cannon fodder.

Of course, beings like Nine Tails and Sarcosuchus, as peak combatants, could potentially take down an ordinary Overlord if they fought without regard for the consequences. However, even then, it would likely require several, if not dozens, of them overwhelming the Overlord with sheer numbers to secure victory.

But to slay one outright? That would be nearly impossible.

Moreover, the price they would pay could be far greater than imagined.

For this reason, Yu Zi Yu had ordered the members of the Demon Court:

“Endure, if you can…” At this thought, Yu Zi Yu’s voice grew cold as he added, “Endure for now, and the storm shall pass. Once I emerge from seclusion, those who have humiliated my Demon Court… shall have their whole Clan exterminated.”

…

Hearing this, the many powerhouses of the Demon Court sensed the underlying concern in Yu Zi Yu’s words.

“Master…” With a soft murmur, Nine Tails stepped forward and spoke, “Master, please rest assured, I am already close to Tier-6. I believe that before long, I will break through. When that time comes, I will be strong enough to protect the Demon Court.”

The moment Nine Tails finished speaking, Little Tenth stepped forward as well, his gaze resolute, “Master, I have already achieved unity within myself… Once I further purify my Bloodline and transform into a true Infernal Lightning Dragon, I too shall protect the Demon Court…”

…

One after another, they pledged their loyalty. Not for any other reason, But so that their Master could enter seclusion without worry.

“En…” Nodding slightly, Yu Zi Yu felt comforted.

Indeed, both Nine Tails and Lightning Dragon were not far from breaking into Tier-6.

Perhaps just one step, or even half a step away.

However, unlike Yu Zi Yu himself, for them, this one step or half step could take years—even decades.

And while the Demon Court had grown powerful, it still lacked the foundational resources to help them break through.

Even as he felt touched, Yu Zi Yu was keenly aware of these limitations.

Just then, sensing something, Yu Zi Yu’s eyes lifted sharply.

*Tap… Tap… Tap…* Amidst the soft sound of footsteps, a lone figure, bathing in moonlight, approached from the distance.

She was serene, like a celestial maiden descending from the Moon.

She was proud, like a winter plum blooming in the cold.

“You are… Osmanthus?” A rare moment of astonishment flickered across Yu Zi Yu’s face, leaving him momentarily stunned.

“Master… you finally remember this lowly servant…” A voice, laced with mournful grievance, drifted through the air, bringing an indescribable melancholy to the surroundings.

It was as if her very voice could stir the hearts of all who heard it. However, at that moment, this cold and elegant figure paid no mind to the shocked expressions around her.

Instead, she gracefully lowered herself into a deep bow and softly declared, “I, Osmanthus, though unworthy, vow to guard the Demon Court for a hundred years in your absence…”
