*Hoooo…* Exhaling a long, deep breath, Yu Zi Yu once again calmed his mind.

Since the True Spirit would be taking care of the Karmic Energy for him, he had no reason to be concerned with it now.

Now, he could put his focus on strengthening himself.

“I’ve over a hundred billion Evolution Points, they should be enough for my final consolidation,” Yu Zi Yu murmured to himself as he came to a decision.

At present, he was a Half-Step Hegemon.

However, this only applied to his combat strength. Other aspects, such as the density of his Spiritual Energy and his abilities, had yet to fully reach the level of a Half-Step Hegemon.

In other words, there was still ample room for growth.

Now, by leveraging the vast Evolution Points at his disposal, he could push every aspect of himself to the Half-Step Hegemon Realm, and then, in one decisive move, break through to Tier-6, Seventh Order.

Thinking of this, a faint smile played on Yu Zi Yu’s lips.

If all went smoothly, he would ascend to a true ruler of an entire galaxy in a single bound.

[Let’s start by upgrading my body.] Wasting no time, Yu Zi Yu ordered straight away, [Use Evolution Points to enhance my physique.]

[Confirm.] Just as Yu Zi Yu gave his confirmation, Yu Zi Yu suddenly felt his body tremble violently.

A powerful torrent of energy erupted from the depths of his body. The sheer magnitude of this energy took even Yu Zi Yu by surprise. It was like a wave of Tsunami, engulfing his entire being instantly. Not only did it cleanse the remaining impurities within him, but it also surged to every corner of his body, continuously reinforcing and strengthening him.

Crackling sounds, akin to the snapping of bones, echoed incessantly as Yu Zi Yu’s bark split apart, only to regenerate anew. At this moment, if one looked at Yu Zi Yu’s flourishing canopy, one would see Life Essence surging forth in torrents.

As it erupted, a mysterious force permeated his crown, causing his branches and leaves to undergo constant metamorphosis and eEnhancement.

To be precise, the upgrade process through Evolution Points was akin to accelerating Yu Zi Yu’s cultivation.

What originally required thousands of years of refinement was now being accomplished in an instant through Evolution Points.

This was equivalent to fast-forwarding his accumulation, pushing Yu Zi Yu from the Early-Stage of the Sixth Order to the Late-Stage, and even a frightening state beyond that.

Of course, Yu Zi Yu was not at the Early-Stage Sixth Order. Having absorbed the World Quintessence from the Nine Realms in the Tenth Realm, he had already reached the Late-Stage.

Now, with the aid of Evolution Points, his body was approaching the peak of the Sixth Order, nearing the threshold of the Seventh Order.

However, it was still far from over.

While upgrading his body, Yu Zi Yu did not just stop there.

[Use Evolution Points to enter the State of Enlightenment.]

The next moment, Yu Zi Yu felt his consciousness jolt fiercely.

Instantly, his five senses became extremely sharp, and for a fleeting moment, he felt as though he had been reborn. Both his thought processes and perception accelerated dramatically.

He even vaguely felt a connection with the world itself.

At this moment, Yu Zi Yu felt that he had become one with Heaven and Earth.

And yet, this was merely the beginning.

*Roooooaar…* A majestic Dragon’s roar suddenly echoed across the Nine Realms, before a colossal Azure Dragon Head, as huge as a mountain, suddenly emerged from the depths of the sky.

Its whiskers danced gracefully in the wind, and its majestic draconic eyes gleamed with an otherworldly radiance.

“What’s…that?” A startled cry suddenly escaped the True Spirit, who had just arrived at a blessed land within the Realm of Life. He stood frozen in place, staring at the colossal Azure Dragon descending from the sky.

Upon closer inspection, countless illusory chains could be seen binding the Dragon.

Faintly, one could even hear the eerie sound of chains scraping through space.

“The…Dragon…of…the…Heavenly…Dao…” Uttering each word in shock, the True Spirit fell into silence.

The Dragon of the Heavenly Dao—as its name implied—was a Dragon that had merged with the Heavenly Dao itself.

Such an existence was terrifying beyond measure.

Once, long ago, the True Spirit had been fortunate enough to witness one.

However, that was not the Dragon of the Heavenly Dao of a mere Small World, but a Dragon of a Great World. It stood at the absolute pinnacle of power, strong enough to even lord over the Eternals.

From this alone, one could imagine just how fearsome a Dragon of the Heavenly Dao truly was.

As for how to recognize one, one needed only to look at the chains wrapping around its body.

Those were Chains of the Heavenly Dao, binding the Azure Dragon. They were like the Principles, restraining its movements.

The deeper a Dragon of the Heavenly Dao fused with the Heavenly Dao, the more chains would bind it, until it ultimately became the Heavenly Dao itself.

It had the power to do anything, yet was restricted in countless ways.

At that stage, a Dragon of the Heavenly Dao would undoubtedly be a supreme entity, yet it would also be shackled by fate. There would be many things it could see but not interfere with.

However, this did not diminish the terrifying nature of a Dragon of the Heavenly Dao.

For a Dragon that had become the embodiment of the Heavenly Dao, its power within its own world would grow exponentially—beyond all reason.

For now, things were still manageable, as it was merely a Small World, nine Small Worlds to be precise.

However, once these nine Small Worlds evolved into Great Worlds, the transformation of this Dragon of the Heavenly Dao would be beyond imagination. Its strength would likely shock the annals of history.

And yet, this was still not the most terrifying part.

The true horror of a Dragon of the Heavenly Dao lay in the fact that it would become one with the Heavenly Dao, an entity known as the Heavenly Dao Spirit.

As a Heavenly Dao Spirit, a Dragon of the Heavenly Dao could naturally steal insights from the Heavens and Earth. When it would eventually leave the Small World, step into the Great World, and venture into the starry cosmos, its rivals would no longer be mere mortal races, but rather the very Origin of the Universe itself, the Universal Heavenly Dao.

And at that moment… who could predict how terrifying it would become after stealing from the Cosmic Source?

Even if it only stole a fraction, that alone would be inconceivable.

After all, that was the Universal Heavenly Dao!

In the previous epoch, why had the Human Immortal waged the war to seize the Heavens? Was it not for the sake of overthrowing the Heavenly Dao and taking its place?

However, now, there existed an entity that could secretly siphon the Cosmic Source itself.

And if it stole enough, it might even be able to challenge the Universal Heavenly Dao for dominion over the cosmos.

“What kind of monstrous freak is he… raising a Dragon of the Heavenly Dao inside a mere Small World!?” The True Spirit’s voice trembled in disbelief. He was utterly dumbfounded this time.
