“To think that the True Spirit of the Imperial Artifact would fall into slumber right away… that, I did not expect.” Murmured Yu Zi Yu, a faint smile tugging at the corner of his lips.

For the True Spirit of the Imperial Artifact to enter slumber and entrust his True Body to him was indeed beyond his expectations.

However, after a brief moment of thought, Yu Zi Yu quickly understood.

With such an abundant amount of Primordial Yin and Yang Energies, along with a small mountain of Phoenix-Blood Purple Gold, the True Spirit had likely retreated into his form to restore his body.

By the time he awakened again, his form would have recovered by at least 10-20%.

By then, the power of the Imperial Artifact would truly soar.

For entities like the Imperial Artifacts, restoring themselves was the utmost priority. As for anything else, it was utterly insignificant.

And now, though he had entrusted his True Body to Yu Zi Yu, he likely knew that Yu Zi Yu would cherish him even more than he cherished himself.

This was simply because as a Divine Treasure, he knew his worth, and thus had no fear.

An existence like an Imperial Artifact, whoever obtained it would treasure it dearly.

How could they ever bring harm to him?

Moreover, even if they wanted to, could they?

Smiling to himself, Yu Zi Yu raised his hand with calm.

*Boooooom…* Immediately, the golden wings gently moved and brushed themselves against Yu Zi Yu’s right hand, as if greeting him.

After bearing the Holy Sixteen Wings, the wings had become an extension of his body, allowing him to control them at will.

“This works out well… With the True Spirit of the Imperial Artifact asleep, my heart feels much more at ease…” Yu Zi Yu couldn’t help but sigh to himself.

He was well aware of his strength, and the lack of it.

His lack of strength made him wary of the True Spirit of the Imperial Artifact.

And moreover, his weakness meant he could not yet communicate with him on a deeper level.

Without such communication, there could be no absolute trust between them.

The True Spirit of the Imperial Artifact understood this as well and decisively chose to fall into slumber, entrusting his True Body directly to Yu Zi Yu.

While this still allowed him to wield the Imperial Artifact, it was only the most rudimentary level of usage.

Without the assistance of the True Spirit, the Imperial Artifact’s true might could never be fully unleashed.

Even so, in Yu Zi Yu’s current situation, this arrangement was actually the most ideal.

After all, Yu Zi Yu harbored far too many secrets. Some of them were not yet ready to be known by an Imperial Artifact’s True Spirit—especially one that was not yet a trusted ally.

With this in mind, a gleam of sharpness flickered deep within Yu Zi Yu’s eyes.

[Whenever I’m not using the Imperial Artifact, I’ll place it deep within the Nine Realms to be properly nourished …] Yu Zi Yu formulated a plan. As for whether the Imperial Artifact would refuse, Yu Zi Yu had already made his arrangements.

He would use the Quintessence of the Nine Realms to nourish it. With something so precious nourishing him, the True Spirit of the Imperial Artifact would undoubtedly be content resting deep within the Nine Realms.

After all, the Quintessence of the Nine Realms was far more precious than even Primordial Yin and Yang Energies or Phoenix-Blood Purple Gold.

And, more importantly, it was exceedingly rare.

…

Having settled his thoughts, Yu Zi Yu slowly opened his eyes.

*Boooooom…* A flickering radiance flashed within the depths of his gaze, illuminating even the surrounding void.

Then, in the next instant, under the astonished gazes of the King of Knights and Avril, a golden figure slowly rose into the air, his entire being bathed in divine brilliance.

“Avril, King of Knights…”

“We are here.”

Responding in unison, Avril and the King of Knights instantly composed themselves, a serious look blanketing their faces.

“You two, one of you head to the Realm of Mist and the other to the Realm of Void. Each of you will tally the battle losses of the Treant Clan and the Void Clan while also taking stock of our spoils.”

“Understood.”

At Yu Zi Yu’s command, Avril and the King of Knights, wasting no time, immediately shot toward the swirling vortex nearby.

And the moment they entered the Nine Realm, Yu Zi Yu unfurled his wings.

Four pairs of dazzling golden wings spread wide into the Void, like a great bird taking flight, exuding an indescribable majesty.

Then, in the very next instant…

*Booooom…* A mighty storm erupted in the Void, and Yu Zi Yu transformed into a golden streak of light, vanishing in a flash.

He was fast, unbelievably fast.

Just like the way the Angel Clan had once described, ‘He was like the first light of dawn, illuminating the entire Lumina Sanctis. But by the time people realized it, he had already disappeared from the world.’

Currently, this terrifying speed belonged to only one person in this vast cosmos.

And that person was Yu Zi Yu.

Or, more precisely, the Fifth Seraph of the Angel Clan—Alarion.

*Whoosh…* A golden streak of light disappeared from the Void Space, and in the next moment, it suddenly reappeared on its opposite side, the boundless starry sky.

However, by now, that golden streak had already fused with the boundless starlight, becoming indistinguishable from it.

All that remained was the endless brilliance of the cosmos, streaking straight toward the Milky Way, the home of the Demon Court.

This was the light of the stars themselves.

At this moment, within Yu Zi Yu’s vision, the rays of light seemed to have come alive. With him as the center, the entire starry sky rapidly zoomed past him, weaving and intertwining with each other.

At this moment, he was chasing the starlight, chasing everything.

What’s more…

*Click…* Like the turning of gears, two Gears of Time began to rotate at the edges of Yu Zi Yu’s wings.

And the moment those gears accelerated, Yu Zi Yu’s speed soared once again.

As if he had shattered some invisible shackle…

*Booooom…* In an instant, everything came to a halt.

The only thing that remained was Yu Zi Yu, calmly gazing upon the still yet breathtakingly beautiful void.

“So beautiful…” Yu Zi Yu could not help but sigh in admiration, but he dared not linger in this frozen world.

Activating Time Acceleration consumed an overwhelming amount of Spiritual Energy.

Even with his immense reserves, he could barely sustain it for a few breaths.

Occasionally experiencing the Frozen World was fine.

But he could not remain in it for too long, or else, as fast as he was, his Spiritual Energy would be utterly depleted.

*Hooooo…* Taking a deep breath, Yu Zi Yu accelerated once more, shooting straight toward the Demon Court.

And in the very next moment…

*Boooooom…* With a thunderous roar, the frozen world resumed its motion, while Yu Zi Yu’s figure vanished beyond the edge of the starry sky.

In just over a dozen breaths, he had crossed an entire Star System.

Such was the sheer terror of Yu Zi Yu’s speed!

Truly, he was the fastest existence under Heaven, well deserving of the title, Godspeed.
