The earth shook as a black torrent shot forth from the horizon, with menacing figures chasing after it at fearsome speed.

There were three figures draped in golden cloak running right behind it, leaving a long trail behind them.

There was also the pale Zhao Jiao, riding on a giant illusory black python.

In addition, there were other mysterious figures, each with a speed not inferior to theirs.

The most amazing among them was a chubby figure which happened to be running at quite an amazing pace, despite its chubby appearance.

He was the God of Cooking, Xu Zhu, also the Mayor of one the new cities of China, Gourmet City, and was also one of the few Tier-2 Superhumans in China.

Now, when he laid his eyes on the distant Bull Demon, he started drooling.

“Spirit Flower, and Bull’s hooves, and beef…Damn, no one can stop me…” Judging by his words, he seemed to be a big gourmet. Even his eyes had turned red with hunger.

Of course, apart from Superhumans, there were many powerful Mutant Beasts in the fray as well.

For example, the Titanoboa that had been burned to a crisp by Ling Er had shed its charred skin and was once again slithering through the mountains and forests at high speed.

Or the Tier-2 Mutant Wild Horse that had transformed into a ball of blue storm, flying through the sky.

In addition, there happened to be an endless swarm of Mutant Beasts, such Mutant Wasps, Mutant Locusts, Mutant Beats, and many more.

At this moment, the Humans and Mutant Beasts chasing after the Bull-headed humanoid creature were tacitly maintaining a strange balance. They only chased after Bull Demon, and did not engage in combat with others.

“Uh… What’s going on?”

Despite his strong mentality, even Bull Demon could not help but have the corner of his mouth twitch when he looked back at what was behind him.

He reckoned that if he ran even a bit slower, not even a piece of his skin would be left. Moreover, noticing everyone’s bloodshot eyes. Bull Demon could not help but swallow a mouthful of saliva.

“I have bad news for you!” Suddenly, a voice broke the deathly silence.

“What is it!?” A bad premonition rose in the Spirit Flower’s heart, making her a bit anxious.

“It seems like my Spiritual Energy can’t hold on anymore…”

“Uh…” Dumbstruck, the Spirit Flower’s petals trembled. [We’ve been running for so long, and he has already exhausted his Spiritual Energy?]

“Uh…” Without saying anything, five-color Spiritual Energy immediately mobilized from her.

In a moment, visible to the naked eyes, strands of five-color Spiritual Energy continuously surged into Bull Demon.

“It feels amazing…” Bull Demon shouted in pleasure as a hint of pleasant surprise flashed on his face.

He had not expected Spirit Flower to have such means.

[But this is great. Now, I won’t have to use my trump card for the time being and…]

Mischievous grinning, Bull Demon silently put the vial containing more than ten drops of Life Essence back in his waist.

This was a life-saving item given to him by Yu Zi Yu.

There were only eleven drops which Bull Demon had accumulated after diligently saving over several months. Each drop was extremely precious.

With these eleven drops of Life Essence, even if he could not win, as long as he was not instantly defeated, there was hope to turn things around.

However, at this moment, as if he had realized something, Bull Demon’s heart was bogged down with worries.

[So many powerhouses!… If I slowed down now, even with the Life Essence, I might be in big trouble, I might even fall here…] Thinking this, Bull Demon accelerated. At the same time, he fiercely stamped the ground.

*Booom…* The ground started fiercely quaking as a wide rift appeared, giving the impression as if the world was collapsing.

In just a moment, more than half of the forest sank.

“This power…”

“Are you kidding me?”

…

Exclamations rang one after another, as countless Tier-0 Superhumans and Mutant Beasts stared in a daze at the sunken mountains and forests ahead.

The display of such earth-shattering power had an extraordinarily huge impact on them.

However, compared to these weaker beings, the powerful Superhumans and Mutant Beasts’ actions were particularly eye-catching.

The three golden figures kicked the ground and leapt up into the air. Then, their Spiritual Energy surged as they actually treaded the air for dozens of meters, crossing over the rift.

The next moment, the trio kicked the branches and leapt up, like birds taking flight, leaping toward Bull Demon.

On the other side, unwilling to be outdone, the other Tier-2 Superhumans displayed their respective techniques, crossing the rift.

Compared to the agility shown by Superhumans, Titanoboa and the Tier-2 Wild Horse were extremely barbarous. With just one dash, they had already pushed through the rift.

However, due to their mad pursuit, the disturbances caused by them became even more terrifying.

Faintly, resounding roars reminiscent of ancient times echoed from deep within the mountains.

…

There was no shortage of Mutant Beasts in the wilderness.

Even powerful Mutant Beasts were not that rare.

However, compared to Humans, who had a wide network, thanks to which the news of the Spirit Flower’s appearance spread from one city to most of China, eventually leading to the arrival of countless top-tier Superhumans.

Meanwhile, the Mutant Beasts each occupied their own territories and were spread out. The Titanoboa and the herd of Tier-2 Mutant Wild Horse rushed over because they were the first to arrive in the vicinity of the Deadwood Wetlands. As for other powerful Mutant Beasts, let alone rushing over, it was hard to say whether they even knew about the Spirit Flower.

After all, despite the great commotion caused by the birth of the Spirit Flower, it was only limited to a few surrounding cities.

Furthermore, the Deadwood Wetlands were in a remote location. Not to mention Human habitation, even Mutant Beasts were scarce.

Of course, the scarcity of the Mutant Beasts here could point to one possibility: the vicinity of the Deadwood Wetlands used to have many Mutant Beasts, some of which even had the potential to reach Tier-2.

Unfortunately, even if they used to exist, they were killed by the Spirit Flower hidden in the heart of the Deadwood Wetlands, turned into nutrients to fuel her growth.

Survival of the fittest.

This was one of the most terrifying aspects of the Mutant Plants.

Their growth came at the expense of the world… like its Spiritual Energy, mineral veins, Mutant Beasts. Everything was the object of their plunder.

However, as a price, their existence itself would be much coveted by Mutant Creatures and even Humans.

Just as Yu Zi Yu had once said, ‘The growth of Humans and even animals generally involves natural disasters, but the growth of us, Mutant Plants, also involves Human disasters.’

When he had said it, he sighed, filled with endless regret.

..

Meanwhile, oblivious to Bull Demon and other Humans and Mutant Beasts, in the distant horizon, several terrifying figures were shuttling through the depths of the mountains, rushing towards them at an incredible speed.

They were as fast as lightning, and their auras were extremely daunting.

Even the powerful Mutant Beast deep in the mountains, upon sensing their auras, immediately held their breaths, fearing being discovered by them.

They were terrifying, truly so.

It was hard to picture so many formidable entities emerging on this continent all at once.

Normally, finding even one would be a challenging task, yet now, several of them had emerged at once.

What made other Mutant Beasts tremble in fear was that just the auras emanating from them caused them to break out in a cold sweat, with their bodies trembling uncontrollably.
