Not long after, with the arrival of giant beasts one after another, the entire arctic island was bustling with activity.

Of course, it was not just the three behemoths, even creatures like the Golden Ant, Qing Gang, and others arrived.

The entire Misty Mountains was not guarded by Bull Demon and many other Mutant Beasts at the moment. Still, there were still Mutant Beasts numbered from thousands to tens of thousands.

However, they could not come.

One reason was that the arctic island had harsh conditions and insufficient food.

The second reason was that with their low strength, crossing the snowy plain would likely result in massive casualties, and Yu Zi Yu could not bear that.

…

At this moment, he slowly raised his gaze, looking toward a nearby spot, where a ginormous, ferocious Crocodile with a pointed beak happened to be approaching. Yu Zi Yu smiled and stated, “You, are you about to break through?”

“Hehe…” Grinning, the Sarcosuchus, with his stout and sturdy legs, came up to Yu Zi Yu. “Elder Sister and Second Brother already broke through, so, as the Fourth one, I can’t fall behind.”

“Is that so?” Murmuring, Yu Zi Yu’s gaze focused on another nearby spot.

Immediately, a huge White Tiger with a pair of wings on its back happened to have lowered in embarrassment.

As the Third oldest among the nine Great Beasts, he had not shown any signs of breaking through yet. The fact that Old Fourth, Sarcosuchus, had shown signs of breaking through had given him a huge blow.

“I’ve told you so many times not to be so playful,” rebuking in a playful voice, Yu Zi Yu gazed at the White Tiger in amusement.

“I don’t want to either,” defending himself in frustration, White Tiger huddled up in a corner in silence.

But seeing the occasional glances White Tiger was cast in his direction, Yu Zi Yu couldn’t help but find it amusing.

[This guy thinks that the perception of a Tier-3 Transcendent is just for show.]

Nonetheless, after giving it some thought, Yu Zi Yu did not blame White Tiger anymore.

[Feline species are naturally curious and active creatures, and White Tiger is no exception. And while his cultivation speed can’t match the diligent Bull Demon and Sarcosuchus, he’s still stronger than many other Mutant Beasts. As the king of the jungle, White Tiger’s combat power is no joke.] Thinking this, Yu Zi Yu could only sigh helplessly.

Then, turning her head, he once again focused his gaze on Sarcosuchus.

“Prepare to break through in the coming days; I will be your protector.”

Saying this, Yu Zi Yu looked toward a sculpture-like figure not far away, Qing Gang – the Elemental Commander under Yu Zi Yu’s command.

At first glance, he seemed almost non-existent. However, upon closer inspection, one would notice that he appeared as if he had merged with the earth—an indescribable and peculiar sensation.

However, before Yu Zi Yu could speak, Qing Gang had already approached and requested in an excited manner, “Master, I’m about to break through too. Can you give me a hand?”

“Give you a hand? How?” Yu Zi Yu smacked his lips as a playful look appeared on his face.

“Well…” With a mischievous smile, Qing Gang turned his gaze to a distant spot, where a colossal figure the size of a city stood tall.

Its eight gray tentacles, despite being frozen in ice, resembled towering skyscrapers reaching the sky. Its pair of crimson eyes hung high and looked like red lanterns. They happened to be flickering every now and then, shining with a ferocious gleam.

It was a terrifying sight, horribly so.

Even individuals like Qing Gang and Sarcosuchus, who already had a diverse experience, could not help but have their pupils contract at the sight of this colossal creature. If this Mutant Sea Creature were to go on rampage, the entire island would likely be destroyed in an instant.

And yet, this terrifying creature had been frozen like an ice sculpture above the sea.

“Master is really powerful and a bit frightening,” marveling in his heart, Qing Gang felt even more fortunate.

[With a Master of such immense power, the world would overflow with unimaginable benefits. Just like now.] Qing Gang had already got the inkling of Yu Zi Yu’s plan.

With these thoughts in mind, Qing Gang turned around, rubbed his hands together, and hesitantly stated, “Master, my culinary skills have greatly improved recently. Can I challenge some rare ingredients?”

“Is that so?” Smiling, Yu Zi Yu did not hesitate.

With a flash of thought, the silver-white branches immediately sparkled with diamond-like brilliance.

A moment later…

*Schlick* Accompanied by a crisp sound, a part of one of the giant Octopus’s gray tentacles was cut.

*Swoosh* Immediately after, one of Yu Zi Yu’s branches coiled around the three-meter-long tentacle piece and returned to the island.

At this moment, looking at Qing Gang’s glowing eyes, Yu Zi Yu stated in a teasing voice, “This should do it. Go for it.”

Immediately after, the section of the gray tentacle fell from the sky with a thud.

“Thank you!” With a hint of excitement, Qing Gang hurriedly made a beeline toward the fallen gray tentacle.

However, after a while, the joy on Qing Gang’s face was filled with anguish. [This is not scientific.]

In a daze, Qing Gang stared at the section of the gray tentacle placed in front of him, feeling extremely helpless.

It was clearly severed, but it was moving as if it was alive, wriggling from time to time. What made Qing Gang even more speechless was that this section of gray tentacle was as tough as iron. Not to mention using it as an ingredient, just cutting it open would be extremely strenuous.

“Even a part of its remains has such tough defenses?” Silently complaining, Qing Gang also glanced back at the gigantic Mutant Octopus that resembled a city behind him. For some reason, he felt like the giant Octopus was staring at him.

Subtly, Qing Gang felt a tightness in his chest.

*Gulp*

Qing Gang swallowed his saliva, feeling at a loss.

“What Tier is it in?”

“Tier-3, called ‘Catastrophe-Class’ by Humans. Its rank is no less than that of the Divine Tree.” A solemn reply rang in Qing Gang’s ears as Sarcosuchus, with a serious expression on his face, slowly approached with his short and stout legs from a distance.

“Uh…” Dumfounded, Qing Gang’s corners of eyes twitched fiercely.

He had always thought this creature was at the peak of Tier-2, but much to his shock, this creature turned out to be even more terrifying than he had imagined.

However, after a moment, as if realizing something, the corner of Qing Gang’s lips suddenly rose into a smile as he sneaked a glance at Yu Zi Yu and asked in a whispering voice, “Fourth Brother, do you think Master has broken through?”

“It’s a terrifying monster of Tier-3. If it could have been suppressed or killed by Master, I could have accepted it. However, it’s actually frozen… in a state of capture..” Astonished, Qing Gang’s gaze couldn’t help but flicker.

“I don’t know.” Sarcosuchus shook his head, frankly admitting, “Master’s strength has always been a mystery. But one thing is certain: there won’t be a more terrifying existence than Master.”

Sarcosuchus replied in soft murmurs, but his voice was extremely resolute.

His determination, beyond words, left the nearby Qing Gang in utter surprise.

But after a moment, Qing Gang also nodded in agreement, speaking with determination, “You’re right, Master is unshakeable, and what we need to do is wait for the day when Master supports the entire world.”
