It was the middle of the night, but the Himalayan Mountains were bright as daylight, a cluster of flames continued to illuminate the Himalayan Mountains.

Upon a closer look, it was actually a massive tree that was radiating a fiery glow.

At this moment, there happened to be an illusory red flower blooming in the middle of this giant tree’s canopy. It was blooming and disappearing intermittently, creating a magnificent spectacle.

Elemental Flower (Fire) – A precious gem formed by the purest Fire-Attribute Spiritual Energy, and when it bears fruits, it even contains the power of creation.

“Is it because of my increased strength that I’ve been able to create the Elemental Flower so quickly?” Muttering to himself, Yu Zi Yu gazed at the illusory Elemental Flower in the tree canopy, his eyes sparkling.

This Elemental Flower was just as extraordinary as the Earth-Attribute Elemental Flower from before. However, this one was of Fire-Attribute and could transform certain creatures into Fire Elemental Lifeform.

Of course, in addition to transforming a creature into a Fire Elemental Lifeform, this Elemental Flower could significantly boost one’s Fire-Attribute Spiritual Energy.

It would make it relatively easier for a Fire-Attribute Mutant Beast to advance. Except, compared to transforming one into an Elemental Lifeform, advancement in rank was rather inferior.

Elemental life forms were on an entirely different level.

Take Qing Gang for example, he originally lacked talent, but now, after becoming an Earth Elemental Lifeform, he has become incredibly powerful.

This demonstrated the marvelous nature of the Elemental Flower.

…

At this very moment, Yu Zi Yu suddenly looked up as if sensing something.

On the distant horizon, two colossal figures happened to be approaching.

Upon closer examination, they turned out to be none other than Old Seventh and Old Eighth of the Nine Great Beasts, the Mammoth, Tundra, and Tyrannotitan respectively.

However, what was astonishing was that these two colossal beasts happened to be carrying wounded Mutant Beasts on their backs, who were just hanging by the last breath.

At this moment, as if sensing Yu Zi Yu’s gaze, a roar reverberated through the night sky.

*Rooaar…* Immediately afterward, right under Yu Zi Yu’s stunned gaze, Titan actually turned his head, clamped his jaws around one of the injured Mutant Beasts, and took a bite.

*Crunch, crunch…* Loud crunching noise echoed through the forest as blood dripped down Titan’s jaws. The entire sight was completely brutal and horrific.

[Does this guy not care one inch about his image?] a strange thought popped up in Yu Zi Yu’s mind, while his roots buried in the earth approached Titan and Tundra, causing the ground to shake.

The two behemoths momentarily paused.

Immediately after…

*Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh…”

Countless roots broke through the ground and wrapped around them in the blink of an eye.

“Good job.” As he praised them, his roots unceremoniously entered the bodies of the wounded Mutant Beasts.

*Schlick, schlick, schlick…”

One after another, Yu Zi Yu’s root pierced into the Mutant Beasts, expanding and contracting, continuously devouring the Mutant Beasts thereupon.

At the same time, a series of cold system prompts resounded in Yu Zi Yu’s ears again and again.

…

“What a great harvest!?” Yu Zi Yu cried in joy, feeling the rapidly increasing Evolution Points. At the same time, he marveled at the quality of the Northern Territory’s Mutant Beasts.

In just a few days, he had made so many Evolution Points.

And right at that very moment…

“Oh… there are Transcendent as well?” Having paid not much attention to his prey before, Yu Zi Yu’s eyes flickered a tinge of surprise. A Transcendent-level prey was not just a means to obtain Evolution Points. Merely devouring the Spiritual Energy from such a creature would significantly boost his Spiritual Energy, equivalent to a night’s worth of cultivation.

However, after a moment, Yu Zi Yu’s roots suddenly stopped devouring the Transcendent Musk Ox’s Spiritual Energy, leaving around forty percent behind.

“This Transcendent Musk Ox is yours,” Yu Zi Yu stated with a smile, looking at the seemingly hungry Tyrannotitan.

It must have been hard on him to carry it all the way here, while craving for it.

It would not be right if he did not get his share.

*Rooaar…*

A deafening roar filled with joy reverberated through the mountains before the Tyrannotitan pounced on the lifeless body of the Transcendent Musk Ox that had fallen not far away from him.

He opened his gaping jaws and tore through its flesh, devouring it voraciously.

As the fresh blood dripped down his gaping maws, Titan’s aura grew at a speed visible to the naked eyes.

For a Tier-0 Level 9 entity like him, a Transcendent prey was no different than a windfall. Even for someone as strong as him, hunting a Transcendent alone would prove to be difficult.

At this moment, after observing Tyrannotitan’s voracious feast, Yu Zi Yu did not pay further attention to him. Instead, he shifted his gaze to the other colossal creature nearby, the Mammoth, Tundra.

“How was your harvest this time?”

“Besides over seven hundred Tier-0 Mutant Beasts, we’ve captured three Transcendent-level preys,” Tundra replied, “Keeping dozens of Mutant Musk Oxen and a Transcendent Musk Ox for nourishment, Bull Demon entrusted the rest of the prey to Titan and me to bring them here.”

Having explained everything, the Mammoth reached his back with his trunk and picked up a barely hanging Leopard measuring over three meters in length.

“A Snow Leopard?” crying in surprise, Yu Zi Yu narrowed his eyes as a series of information entered his sight.

Race: Mutant Snow Leopard

Rank: Tier-1 Transcendent

Innate Talent: Superspeed – An extremely rare talent that allows it to gain a temporary, but terrifying speed (Note: It can’t be maintained for long, as the body will shatter due to the strain if exceeded.)

Unique Abilities: Arctic Claws – After evolution, its claws have become extremely sharp, and can induce a chilling effect, freezing its prey’s blood and flesh around the wound, inflicting secondary damage.

Ice Breath – It gathers cold energy in its mouth before breathing a cold stream that can freeze everything in its path.

Boiling Blood – It can temporarily increase its combat power by boiling the blood for a short duration.

Silently observing the status screen of the Transcendent Snow Leopard, Yu Zi Yu could not help but feel puzzled.

[Judging by the strength of this Mutant Snow Leopard, it should be quite challenging to catch. Not to mention, just relying on its Innate Talent, Superspeed, there are very few who can catch up with it? After all, it’s a rare talent even acknowledged by the system.]

Though Yu Zi Yu had not witnessed it, he could clearly imagine the terrifying speed of this Transcendent Snow Leopard when it activated its Superspeed. For example, leaving afterimages, or transforming into a streak of light in the blink of an eye.

It seemed like Yu Zi Yu’s curiosity did not escape the Mammoth, Tundra’s notice, who promptly asked, “Master, is there something on your mind?”

“No, I’m just curious about how this Transcendent Snow Leopard got captured,” Yu Zi Yu replied, briefly describing the Snow Leopard’s Innate Talent.

“Erm…” The Mammoth, Tundra was slightly taken aback. After a moment of thought, a Human-like smiling gleam flickered in the depth of his eyes.

“Master, you might not know this, but when we found this Transcendent Snow Leopard, it was being chased by hundreds of Musk Oxen. If I were to guess, it had already used it’s Superspeed. Then, it encountered us and was ambushed by Flathead, and got severely injured. That’s how…”

Even before Tundra finished explaining, the corners of Yu Zi Yu’s lips started twitching at the irony.

[Well, it seemed that luck played a role in this capture. As the saying goes, when the snipe and the clam grapple, it’s the fisherman who profits.]

Yu Zi Yu did not choose to kill the Transcendent Snow Leopard. After all, its talent was praiseworthy, and it could be nurtured.

Besides, Yu Zi Yu had recently been thinking of cultivating an assassination squad.

He already had the Green Mantis, and now, he could put this Transcendent Snow Leopard into it as well.
