The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 946: Chapter 946: Even Getting Jealous Isn’t Easy (Part 1)

Su Yu resignedly put down the book and followed Han Jing, ready to head into the bathroom, only to have Han Jing lock the door with a snap.

Su Yu...

Never mind, I’ll wait for her to come out.

So, Su Yu stood quietly at the bathroom door waiting, but this wait lasted more than an hour, and Han Jing still hadn’t come out.

Su Yu... Could she have fallen asleep inside?

Just as Su Yu was planning to burst in and check, with his hand about to touch the door, it was pulled open.

Inside his bathroom, a mountain hot spring had been introduced, and perhaps she soaked too long, her face was slightly flushed, looking particularly alluring under the hazy candlelight.

Su Yu reached over to pull her into his arms but was dodged by Han Jing once again.

Han Jing floated away from him with a cold demeanor, heading straight back to the bedroom.

Su Yu... So, she’s really angry?

Su Yu, somewhat puzzled, resignedly followed Han Jing back to the bedroom and sat on the bed prepared to get in.

Just as he sat down, Han Jing, who had been coldly ignoring him, turned her head, propped a cushion behind her, and half-lay while looking at him.

The neckline of her light pink nightgown seemed a bit large, revealing a vast expanse of skin smooth and white as jade, a beautiful and delicate collarbone, with a mischievous blue butterfly, the size of a fingernail, lively... alluring.

Su Yu’s breath became somewhat tight.

Han Jing, however, extended her foot to press against his chest, leisurely saying, ”Today, that Miss Meng, she is quite pretty! I saw you staring at her, your eyes couldn’t look away!”

Her crystal-white toes pressed against his heart, reflecting a pearl-like gentle radiance in the candlelight. Her body temperature was always on the cooler side, even when her Fire Ability was in full force, it was still lower than a normal person’s temperature; pressing against his burning heart like this, gave him the sensation of finding a spring in the scorching sun, along with a certain tickling tease.

Su Yu’s face remained composed, but his gaze involuntarily became more intense.

He stared at Han Jing, replying, ”Weren’t you the one watching?”

He swore, he truly hadn’t been watching, whatever Miss Meng or not, how could he be interested? It was obviously her who couldn’t take her eyes off the beauty, feeling jealous, and it had absolutely nothing to do with him.

Han Jing... Was she indeed the one watching more? But under such circumstances, could she not keep her eyes on her? What if Su Yu really got his soul bewitched away?

”If you weren’t watching, how could you know I was?” Han Jing slandered inwardly, if he hadn’t been watching, he’d surely not know she was.

Su Yu... So, Jing’er, are you too smart or too silly or just too silly!

”I watched you, naturally knowing you were watching,” Su Yu smiled, revealing the truth that caught Han Jing off guard.

Han Jing... So she just wanted to be a little jealous, act a bit playful, and pull off a cold demeanor, why is it so hard? Doesn’t he understand that sometimes life is better left unexposed!

However, life is all about performance.

Han Jing lightly arched an eyebrow, ”Oh really? Then how do you know that my gaze was directed at her? I saw her watching you without blinking, huh? What’s this? Are you feeling guilty? Is that why you didn’t dare to look? Hmph, she even came looking for you; if I hadn’t stumbled upon it, wouldn’t you be out tonight gazing at the flowers under the moon, whispering sweet nothings?”
