The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 923: Chapter 923: The Real Kiss

Lianwu had no idea what was going on, but he still closed his eyes.

Anyway, as long as She was happy.

Xiao Xue saw that Lianwu had closed his eyes, then opened Her palm, but furrowed Her brows—what to do? If She stuffed the medicine pills directly into his mouth and he spat them out, what then?

No, She couldn’t just stuff them in directly.

Right!

Xiao Xue’s eyes lit up as She suddenly remembered that, back at the Immortal Tower, She had seen someone feeding things with their mouth. She’d asked Aunt Qing You and the others why they did that, and Aunt Qing You had smiled and explained that if you fed someone like that, they’d like it more and wouldn’t spit it out. If it was medicine you were feeding, it was absolutely perfect.

Well, She was feeding medicine too!

But... would this medicine be very bitter?

Xiao Xue was a tiny bit conflicted.

Afraid that Lianwu might open his eyes, She specially warned him, ”Brother Lianwu, you absolutely must not open your eyes.”

Lianwu kept his eyes closed and gave an ”mm.” Right now his mind was full of why Xiao Xue was unhappy, and on top of that his whole body hurt so much he thought he might die, so he didn’t notice at all what sort of scheme the little girl was cooking up.

Xiao Xue hesitated over whether to put the medicine pills into Her own mouth to feed them to Brother Lianwu. She was really, really afraid of bitterness!

But... if She didn’t feed the medicine to Brother Lianwu, he’d be in even more pain. Since She’d decided to do a good deed, She had to see it through to the end. She didn’t want Brother Lianwu to know that She had used Her Blood to refine the medicine pills for him; if he knew, Brother Lianwu would definitely feel distressed.

The little girl had absolutely no awareness that once he swallowed them, he’d find out anyway!

Of course, Xiao Xue didn’t think that far ahead.

After struggling for just a moment, Xiao Xue, in a burst of righteous resolve, put the medicine pills into Her own mouth, then squeezed Her eyes shut. Luckily, they weren’t too bitter, but they still tasted like medicine!

She held the medicine pills firmly in Her mouth, leaned toward Lianwu’s face, and, while Lianwu was completely unprepared, pressed Her lips to his.

Lianwu jolted, his mouth slightly opening as he tried to ask what Xiao Xue was doing.

The little girl’s technique was clumsy. Seeing Lianwu open his mouth, She hurriedly used Her tongue to push the medicine pills from Her own mouth into his. Afraid he wouldn’t swallow, Her own little tongue stayed in his mouth, and Her hands cupped Lianwu’s face, with an air of absolutely not moving until he swallowed the medicine pills.

Lianwu was completely dumbfounded.

If that dragonfly-light kiss back on the Snow Peak had been his first kiss, softening something deep in his heart, then this kiss now could probably be called... a real kiss.

All the pain in his body seemed to vanish in that instant, his mouth filled with the little girl’s clear, sweet breath and... a slightly bloody medicinal taste.

He swallowed the medicine pills without any conscious reaction at all, because this method of feeding medicine had truly scared him silly.

His brain had already stopped working; it had crashed.

And just then, Han Jing happened to come back from the kitchen to set the table, intending to tell Su Yu to come take Xiao Xue back. Lianwu needed rest, and She shouldn’t keep hanging around here.

But who would have thought that when Su Yu silently pushed the door open and walked over to the bedside, this was what he’d see.

All the Blood in his body went a bit rigid in that instant. What—what was he seeing?

His precious daughter was currently sprawled on top of Lianwu, lips... pressed to... lips?? Hm? His eyes weren’t playing tricks on him, right? He wasn’t seeing things, right?
