The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 698: Chapter 698: You Still Remember to Come Back?

Su Yaogeng finally looked towards Han Jing and first saw a powerful and unfamiliar man, then—

She blinked lightly, thinking she had seen wrong.

Until Xiao Xue excitedly pointed at Han Siqu and said, ”Grandmother, Grandfather is back!”

Su Yaogeng suddenly felt a bit stiff, what?

Did she not see wrong?

She looked towards the similarly dumbfounded Aunt Xi and asked, ”A Xi, this...”

Could it be that they were all dreaming? Why did it feel so unreal? She thought he had died outside, how could he suddenly appear in front of her? Was this really not a joke?

Han Jing walked over, picked Xiao Xue up, and then turned to give Aunt Xi a look. Aunt Xi quickly reacted and raised her hand to indicate for the servants to leave.

Then she left the courtyard with Han Jing, taking Xiao Xue with them, and Lianwu also followed.

In the blink of an eye, only Su Yaogeng and Han Siqu were left in the entire courtyard.

Su Yaogeng looked at Han Siqu quietly, her voice carrying a hint of sarcasm, ”You still know how to come back? I thought you had long since died out there!”

Han Siqu gave a bitter smile, he knew it, how could she possibly forgive him easily?

He didn’t even know if there was a chance she might like him. But Jing’er was right, you can’t give up just because you’re unsure.

When he left back then, it was also in hopes that one day he could stand in front of her with dignity, not as that wastrel who lived indulgently every day and couldn’t compare to Han Si Que even a little. He wanted to stand in front of her like a man, with honor, and tell her he’s liked her for many, many years.

He hoped that they wouldn’t miss out again in their remaining years.

Han Siqu quickly took a few steps forward and went in front of Su Yaogeng, he was more than a head taller than her, she only reached his shoulder when standing in front of him.

Actually, Han Siqu was quite good-looking, compared to Han Si Que’s rugged hardness, he was more delicate and gentle, also much more gracefully handsome. Now that he had shed his once disheveled state, he had a dashingly free and easy aura about him; dressed in a smoke-grey long robe with wide sleeves, his handsome face looked even younger.

Compared to the Han Siqu who once indulged in feasting and pleasure in the courtyards of Marquis Qing’an, the current Han Siqu looked merely in his thirties, distinguished in temperament, and even more captivating.

However... in Su Yaogeng’s eyes, all these changes of his were... meaningless.

Because in her impression, Han Siqu was always that irresponsible, capricious, and somewhat spoiled and rogue brat.

”Yao Zhen, I’m back.” Although he knew she still didn’t welcome him, this time, he would never let go again.

Su Yaogeng glanced at him blandly, ”Come back if you want, this is your home too, how could I stop you from coming back? If there’s nothing else, just return to your Marquis Qing’an Mansion. I’ve already asked the Emperor to bestow another residence, and let your eldest illegitimate son inherit your Marquis Qing’an title. Han Siqu, I think I’ve done enough, whatever you want to do in the future, just like before, do as you please. Make way, I need to go see my precious granddaughter!”

Running away from home suddenly, huh, at such an age, leaving a mess behind for her to clean up, how could she be so idle every day handling his messes, go die wherever, don’t block her from seeing their precious little Xiao Xue!
