Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 1298: Chapter 1299: Way Out

Cheng Su also doesn’t believe that people necessarily have to study to have a future or succeed, but studying allows your mind to hold more knowledge and see more things.

In terms of the times, the truth is, many people rely on studying to have a future, so a college student is very valuable. Just look at Qi Jianguo’s class, only three made it, and in Huangtian Village, he was the only one, which tells you everything.

In people’s eyes, getting into college means great success and a bright future, with a path that only goes up, not down.

So, if you can study, of course it’s best to study. Who wouldn’t want to enhance themselves?

But if you really can’t study, then you rely on your wits and luck. We’re still in the reform and opening era, everyone is venturing out to seek wealth. It’s not like there aren’t people who get rich by seizing such opportunities. Aren’t I one of them too?

But studying is respectable, that’s for sure. Later on, many so-called CEOs and presidents attend all sorts of executive classes just to add that value to themselves.

”Is Cheng Zhi in his third year of high school this year?” Cheng Su calculated and asked.

”Yes, in a few days he’ll be in his third year!”

”Then he should at least finish this year and consider if he can pass. What’s the rush for a young kid?” Cheng Su said with a stern face.

”Last month your Third Uncle came home for a bit and overheard him saying he wanted to venture out on his own. He got some ideas, thinking of working with your Third Uncle, and seeing if they could start another company in a different industry in the future!” Father Cheng said.

Cheng Su didn’t expect this rebellious little brother to have such an idea, and said, ”I’ll have a good talk with him later, he should at least finish this year and sit an exam.”

”That’s what I said too!”

”I hadn’t heard that Third Uncle wanted to go on his own!” Cheng Su added.

Father Cheng was just about to reply when someone outside shouted, ”Are the elder brother and sister-in-law in?”

Everyone realized it was a case of speaking of Cao Cao and Cao Cao arrives.

”Third Uncle is here.” Cheng Su said in surprise.

”Probably came home for the festival.”

The group went out to greet him, and sure enough, it was Third Uncle Cheng.

After settling and exchanging pleasantries, the conversation naturally turned to Third Uncle Cheng venturing on his own.

”To go out on your own, you need capital, work, people, and connections in various areas. Have you thought this through, Third Uncle?” Cheng Su asked.

Third Uncle Cheng blushed slightly and said, ”I don’t have much money, so I thought of borrowing from the bank like you did and starting a renovation company.”

Cheng Su was a bit surprised; she didn’t expect Third Uncle Cheng to have such courage and daring.

”Actually, Yuan Dazhi mentioned that if I start on my own, I should first try taking on small jobs. If he has jobs that he can’t handle, he’ll pass some to me. As for people, there are folks in the village willing to work with me. I’ll bring a few capable and honest ones, then slowly recruit more. When there’s more work, the company will naturally grow!” Third Uncle Cheng looked at Cheng Su, saying, ”Look at me, really like showing off with my small skills in front of a master, you’re the business expert, niece, could you give me some advice?”

Cheng Su carefully considered Third Uncle’s potential. It’s not impossible, given that the future development in real estate looks promising. If Third Uncle establishes himself in that field, he wouldn’t have to worry about work. Laying the foundation now will be highly beneficial in the future.

”It’s not unfeasible, but Qing City is only so big. So, Third Uncle, first establish your team and start small in Qing City. Once you gain experience, expand to Guangcheng next year!” Cheng Su suggested.

Third Uncle Cheng and Father Cheng were taken aback, Guangcheng, so far away?
