Entry: I Secretly Cultivate Immortality in the Martial Arts World

234: Chapter 234 I Want the Spirit Realm, and Utmost Harmony!Inside the Hall of Longevity within the Supreme Creation Small Luo Grotto-Heaven.

Gu Yan sat cross-legged, the haotian mirror suspended before him. Its surface shimmered with light, reflecting threads of Karma.

After deducing for a long time, he finally saw the ins and outs of the matter clearly.

The Buddhist Sect.

From Arhat Monk descending to the mortal realm to act as a Buddha, to Arhat Jingxin coming to cause trouble only to be thrown back to Spirit Mountain.

And then to Buddha Datongguang obscuring the heavenly secrets and setting a trap to lure Emperor Cang into a snare.

This series of Karma ultimately pointed to the same source.

The Buddhist Sect wanted to save Face but didn’t want to enter the fray themselves, so they used the Immortal Court as their blade.

Gu Yan withdrew the haotian mirror, his expression calm, yet a cold light flickered in his eyes.

From this moment on, the Buddhist Sect and the Immortal Court were hostile forces in his heart.

Speaking of which, Gu Yan actually understood the thoughts of the Buddhist Sect and Emperor Cang.

Mighty beings, after all, all loved their Face.

In the novels he had read in his past life, how many bloodbaths were caused by nothing more than a simple ”What are you looking at?” followed by ”What if I am?”

Having cultivated to this point in this life, he had finally seen how unreasonable these high-and-mighty existences could be for the sake of their so-called Face.

The Buddhist Sect was like this, and so was the Immortal Court.

Arrogant, overbearing, and unable to tolerate the slightest defiance.

But did he, Gu Yan, not care about his Face?

He also wanted Face; how could someone who didn’t even care about their Face establish themselves in this world or act cool?

Gu Yan never felt he was a magnanimous person.

Back in Nanming No. 73 Mortal Realm, before he even began cultivating, his parents died at the hands of Demonic Cult evildoers who practiced martial arts.

He was young then and lacked the power to take revenge, so he could only suppress that hatred deep in his heart.

Later, after embarking on the path of cultivation and reaching the Foundation Establishment realm, the first thing he did was emulate the True Martial Great Emperor he had heard of in his past life.

He swept through the worldly evils of that world from beginning to end.

He, Gu Yan, had always been a person who sought vengeance for every grievance.

Today, both the Buddhist Sect and the Immortal Court had bullied their way to his doorstep; if he didn’t even make a sound, then why bother cultivating?

However, there was no rush for now.

There would be plenty of time in the future to settle old scores.

With his mind made up, Gu Yan used his Divine Soul to sense his three External Incarnations.

His evil body Minghe was still in the Spirit Realm.

Ever since Gu Yan decided to develop The Great Alliance, Minghe had used the Azure Wave Sect as a foundation to establish the alliance’s power in that world.

By now, all the Human Race forces in the Eastern Continent and the Middle Lands looked to the Azure Wave Sect as their leader.

It was quite interesting when he thought about it.

The Sect Master and Disciples of the Azure Wave Sect were actually not very strong.

In a world like the Spirit Realm, where experts were as common as trees in a forest, they shouldn’t have been fit to be the leaders.

But who could help it when the Azure Wave Sect had the backing of that Venerable Datong?

Yes, Minghe had not taken a new title for himself but had instead continued to use the title of the good body Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang.

Since both were Gu Yan’s Incarnations, there was nothing wrong with using the same title.

Having finished his sensing, Gu Yan immediately sent a message via his Divine Soul, giving Minghe an order.

”In the Spirit Realm’s Northern Plains, Western Desolation, and Southern Borders, demons and monsters are entrenched, and the Human Race knows no peace. From today onward, there is no need to hold back; wipe them all out.”

”I want the Spirit Realm to achieve total Great Unity.”

Gu Yan’s reason for making this decision was, naturally, his plan to eventually incorporate the Spirit Realm into his Supreme Creation Small Luo Grotto-Heaven.

When he first obtained this Grotto-Heaven world through the immortal lord fuzhe - red trait, he remembered clearly that this world could accommodate three Major Thousand Worlds.

As for how many Middle Thousand Worlds it could hold, the description didn’t explicitly say, but he imagined it wouldn’t be few.

If he wanted to accumulate his own foundation to eventually clash with and surpass the great powers of the Immortal Realm, he couldn’t rely on his strength alone.

If the Spirit Realm were incorporated into the Grotto-Heaven, it would be equivalent to him having an inexhaustible reserve.

Talents, resources, and Luck could all come from there.

Of course, there was also one most important point.

Many mighty beings in the Immortal Realm had always liked to use Middle Thousand Worlds as a chessboard, placing their pieces and making their moves.

Today you bury a piece here, tomorrow he sets a hidden stake there.

All living beings are like ants, and worlds are like weeds, to be manipulated at will.

He, Gu Yan, would not tolerate this habit.

He was going to flip the board.

However many chessboards there were, he would flip them all.

Until he truly couldn’t flip them anymore, then he would find another way.
