Entry: I Secretly Cultivate Immortality in the Martial Arts World

222: Chapter 222 The Eternal World Tree: Side Story - Naruto (Just one chapter)The eternal myriad heavens world tree, the fifth leaf.

This world was called the Naruto world by Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang.

That’s right, it was precisely the world True Body Gu Yan was familiar with in his past life: Naruto.

Each leaf on the eternal myriad heavens world tree was an independent world.

On the orders of True Body Gu Yan, Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang had long since established the Great Alliance of the Heavens and Universe in each of the Small Worlds within the World Tree.

This world was, naturally, no exception.

The timeline pulled back to the very beginning, the moment Kaguya Otsutsuki had just descended to this planet from the distant starry sky of the Universe.

At that time, this planet was still in the midst of barbarism and chaos.

Aristocrats carved up the land, wars raged for years, and commoners were like blades of grass, their lives not their own.

As a main Family member of the Otsutsuki clan, Kaguya was ordered to come to this planet to plant the God Tree and harvest the Chakra Fruit.

However, before she could even make a move, Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang had already arrived.

Venerable Datong’s style of doing things had always been simple and direct: first reason with them, and if reason didn’t work, reason with physics.

Fortunately, the aristocrats on this planet neither listened to reason nor could they withstand physics.

It took Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang no more than a month to pull out all the aristocratic forces on this planet by the root.

Whatever the Daimyo, the samurai, or the noble families were, they were all swept into the dustbin of history.

In their place was the Great Alliance of the Heavens and Universe.

Under the Alliance’s rule, there were no high or low, no noble or humble; everyone was equal, and the world was in great harmony.

There was no war, no exploitation, and no oppression.

Everyone who farmed had a harvest, the elderly were cared for, and the young were educated.

This planet had never been this peaceful before.

As for Kaguya Otsutsuki, Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang did not treat her as an enemy.

In his eyes, she was merely a woman from a foreign land, far from home and burdened with a mission.

It was not her intention to bring disaster to this world; it was just that the Otsutsuki clan had strict rules, and she had no choice but to obey.

Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang spoke with her several times, teaching her the Dao of Great Harmony and explaining the principles of heaven and earth.

Kaguya was guarded at first, but Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang’s cultivation was unfathomable, far beyond what she could contend with; if he wanted to kill her, why waste his breath?

Since he didn’t attack, but instead spoke gently and guided her patiently, her defenses gradually lowered.

As time passed, Kaguya was actually moved by the Dao of Great Harmony that Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang spoke of.

She had grown up in the Otsutsuki clan, where everything she saw and heard was about the strong preying on the weak and strict hierarchies.

Clansmen schemed against one another, using any means necessary for power.

She had never imagined that there could be such a concept as great harmony in the world.

Everyone is equal, without distinction of Rank, supporting one another to achieve great harmony together.

This thought was like a ray of light in the darkness to her.

She began to actively learn the Dao of Great Harmony, following its principles and practicing its ways.

Seeing her sincere devotion to the Dao, Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang bestowed upon her a Magical Artifact called the Primordial Amulet, which could block fatal attacks three times, enough to keep her life safe.

Kaguya took the amulet, feeling completely secure in her heart.

She no longer feared the Otsutsuki clan sending people to hunt her down, no longer feared the backlash of the God Tree, and no longer feared the various things that had kept her awake at night in the future.

Why was she so afraid in the original story?

Because she was afraid.

Afraid of the pursuers from the Otsutsuki clan, afraid of being executed by her clansmen for insufficient power, afraid of the people on this planet rebelling against her, afraid that everything she had done would eventually come to nothing.

She had chosen to suppress everything with absolute power and use the White Zetsu army to resist the enemies that might come in the future.

In the end, she was a pitiful person driven by fear her whole life.

But in this life, with Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang there, with the Great Alliance there, and with the Primordial Amulet there.

She had nothing to fear.

The days passed just like that.

The flow of time in the World Tree was vastly different from that in the Supreme Creation Small Luo Grotto-Heaven.

A day in the Grotto-Heaven might have seen years, decades, or even a century pass in this Naruto world.

Immortal Emperor Yuan Fang had never calculated the exact ratio.

On this day.

In the Naruto world, somewhere in the mountains and forests.

A white light flashed out of thin air, and a young man fell out of the light, landing flat on his back.

”Ouch!”

The young man rubbed his backside and climbed up, looking around in confusion.

Green mountains and clear waters, birds singing and flowers fragrant, the air was unbelievably fresh.

He took a deep breath, feeling his whole being purified.

Immediately after, a mechanical voice sounded in his mind:

[Ding! The Heavens and Myriad Worlds Chat Group System has been successfully bound!]

[host’s current world detected: Naruto World]

[Timeline: Warring States Period]

[The host can summon Wuxia characters from the heavens and myriad worlds in the chat group to obtain abilities, Magic Treasures, Cultivation Techniques...]

The young man was stunned.

His name was Lin Yi, a completely ordinary Transmigration traveler.

Before he died... oh no, before his Transmigration, he was just an ordinary office worker whose biggest hobby after work was watching anime.

He had watched Naruto at least five times, and he knew every character and every plot point by heart.

So his mood at this moment was — ecstatic.

The Naruto world! The Warring States period!

Wasn’t this exactly the era when those ruthless people like Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha were just starting to make a name for themselves?

If he could latch onto a powerful backer, wouldn’t he take off?

”System, the Golden Finger is here, the Transmigration is here, shouldn’t you arrange a badass identity for me now?” Lin Yi rubbed his hands.

The System ignored him.

Lin Yi didn’t care, and he walked towards the outside of the mountain with great interest.

He had to figure out where he was first, and then go find the Senju clan or the Uchiha clan to get close to them.

It was the Warring States period, after all; the two big clans were fighting fiercely, which was just the right time to fish in troubled waters.

He walked for about an hour, climbed over a hill, and the scene before him made him stop in his tracks.

Below the mountain was a town.

Bluestone roads, white walls and black tiles, clean and tidy.

People came and went on the street, talking and laughing.

There were various stalls along the road, selling vegetables, cloth, and snacks, with hawking sounds rising one after another.

A few children were chasing and playing, their laughter crisp and clear.

This wasn’t particularly strange; towns in the Warring States period were probably like this.

But Lin Yi noticed a detail: there seemed to be no class barriers here, no distinction between noble and humble.

Lin Yi frowned and continued walking forward.

Passing through the town, he came to an open area.

There stood a huge stone tablet with a few large characters engraved on it:

”Great Alliance of the Heavens and Universe — Great harmony in the world, all living beings are equal.”

Below were dense lines of small text, writing out the Alliance’s purpose, rules, how to join, and so on.

Lin Yi scanned it, and the more he looked, the more wrong it felt.

Great harmony in the world? All living beings are equal?

Is this really the Naruto world?

He quickened his pace, went to a few more places, and saw more scenes that confused him.

No aristocrats, no Daimyo, no mansions of noble families.

All architectural styles were unified, and functional zoning was clear.

There were schools teaching Ninjutsu and knowledge, regardless of Family or bloodline, open to everyone.

There were hospitals where men, women, young, and old all enjoyed the same treatment.

There was a council hall where major matters were discussed together by representatives of all parties, rather than being decided by one person.

He even saw a bulletin board with job advertisements posted on it.

A farm needed help with harvesting, for a certain reward.

A ninja tool workshop was hiring apprentices, men and women alike, with food and housing provided.

Lin Yi stood in front of the bulletin board, his mind completely bewildered.

He was silent for a long time, trying to call the System in his mind: ”System, are you sure this is the Naruto world?”

The System was silent.

”Naruto, you know it, right? Hashirama Senju, Madara Uchiha, Tailed Beasts, Ninja Wars? Where are these things?”

The System’s silence was deafening.

Lin Yi took a deep breath and asked again: ”Who built that Great Alliance thing?”

This time, the System finally reacted, but instead of answering his question, it popped up a cold prompt:

[Unknown super-spec power detected in this world... Unable to evaluate...]

[Suggest the host... keep a low profile.]

Lin Yi: ”...”

Lin Yi sighed up at the sky, a sense of inexplicable desolation rising in his heart.

Transmigrating to Naruto was something he had dreamed of in his past life.

But now that he had actually transmigrated here, he found that this world had been changed beyond recognition by some mysterious big shot.

No Uchiha, no Senju, no Tailed Beast wars, all gone.

In their place was a utopia called the Great Alliance.

Lin Yi squatted by the side of the road, falling into deep self-doubt.

[Hello everyone, dear readers～]

[Suddenly doing such a side story, it’s actually because I don’t want to forget my original intention.]

[In addition to the Origin Great World where the protagonist Gu Yan is, let other worlds in the eternal myriad heavens world tree show their faces too.]

[This kind of side story won’t take up too much space, it won’t occupy the progress of the main storyline, so please rest assured.]

[If you want to see more side stories from the heavens, or want to see which worlds we should play in, you can leave a message in the comment section and give some suggestions!]
