The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 344: Conversation about the War

”...” I begin to regain consciousness and see that I’m lying on the floor, I can only curse Pandora Yandere for just abandoning my body on the floor as if it was nothing, I get up dissatisfied.

’Damn that bitch’ She used my body to satisfy her lust, at least I discovered an interesting way to use my original body, I didn’t know I could release it while still maintaining the normal humanoid body.

’At least she did everything that was needed’ Ren seemed to be in a lot of pain, her body was being crushed from the inside while she was forced to feel pleasure and I gained the results of how useful her potions are.

And with that it’s obvious, kidnapping her and letting demons drain as much as possible is the best solution, although it can’t be used en masse it can be given to strong people who used it in emergency situations.

And maybe diluting it in water or liquid mana can reduce the effect and increase the amount which would allow mass use without problems, after all in limited quantity and use it has no harmful effects.

’I can think about that later’ Kidnapping her only after I’ve already obtained the information from Lucius, besides, I also need to ”kidnap” Beta since she is my sister’s servant and needs to be reclaimed after her loyalty is worthy of note.

She just didn’t count on the worst nightmare of a girl being my pet, Shogo, a tentacle monster who loves strong girls.

”Hey, Lucius, I’m back” I say as I come out of the relic’s cable area, I see Lucius talking to some researchers along with some projects and papers.

”Oh Pandora, perfect timing, we’re discussing modifications to the relic so that it can inject potions” He says as I approach.

”That’s good, I also discovered some interesting things about your personal ’potion factory’” I won’t mention the weak points, but I’ll give the idea of diluting it in liquid mana to reduce the effect, but increase the amount.

After all, the amount that can be taken from Ren is limited to how much she orgasms each time and how quickly she recovers what she lost.

”Okay, this subject here is more important first, and how Ren survived becoming an angel perfectly confirms what you said about the body changing along with the manual form, her blood must have made this process” He says as I confirm, approaching the table where I see the papers.

”I forgot to ask, Lucius, how strong is an angel really?” I don’t know the strength of an angel and Ren, although she is ’strong’, she shouldn’t have maximum level, so she only serves as a convenient battery.

”Hmm, it’s hard to say since none of them have maximum level, but the ones we’re going to create will have the strength so that a unit of 20 of them can easily face 10,000 demons” He gives a parameter that I believe is realistic.

’Considering that they will have the level of when they were human, then the level must be between 5 and 50...’ They are really strong, I think it was expected considering they are a special type of monster born from the sacred element.

”It’s really impressive, and as they are an aerial unit they have a good tactical and support advantage” I say without finding anything special, in war they would really be a problem if they were really an enemy.

However, as I am the Demon King and they are monsters, I can force them to obey me with orders, this makes me think of Ren, she is now a monster so she needs to obey my orders, this puts a smile on my face.

”I see you’re also excited about their power, they will really be very useful, besides the naturally strong sacred element that will be of great help against the demons” He says as I think about what Rosaline will do.

”Will Rosaline, as a saint, go with the heroes to provide support with healing and barrier magic?” They may decide to send her to another area.

”...We’re still thinking about it, to start with, we don’t believe Rosaline has the power to defend against the attacks of the current Demon King, of course she doesn’t have natural power, but we have relics and potions for a massive temporary power boost”

”But then the question arises, having her with this power boost against the demon army would also be extremely useful...so we’re waiting for the final word from the Royal Guard leader, if she says the heroes need a saint, Rosaline will go with them”

”But if she says the saint will be of no use, then Rosaline will stay with our troops to provide support with barrier creation, healing, and to protect the crystal that prevents the use of mass destruction magic” He explains a really effective approach.

After all, the crystal that creates the barrier is one of the most important things in the wars of this world, without one, at any moment a massive spell can instantly wipe out your troops.

”I understand, if the saint and her troops end up defeating the demon army, they can go help the heroes without any interference, and even the Demon King, under such immense pressure from all sides, would end up giving in” I tell him.

”Correct, even mass destruction attacks made by the Demon King can be defended by relics and the power of the Saint with this extreme power boost, so in the end the Demon King would be limited to few choices” He says, but seems to be thinking of something.

”Pandora, as the Grand Duchess, what are your plans to fight? Will you go with the heroes or with the regular troops?” He asks a really good question.

”I’ll probably go with the regular troops, I may be strong, but...my health isn’t the best to go with the heroes, so I plan to help reduce the number of enemy troops as much as possible and I probably won’t change my mind” I tell him with a smile.

”I see...it’s a shame that you are a hybrid, I pray that the goddess will take care of your soul in paradise after your death” He speaks as if it is guaranteed that my lifespan is short.

’Hahahaha it’s crazy how rumors can cover the truth after they spread’ I’m not even a dragon and human hybrid, but everyone believes it just because of a small series of opportune coincidences and the fact that I haven’t denied it.

”Yes, I hope my goddess will take care of my soul after my death, but I still plan to try to live a long time, you know? I have a lot to enjoy” I say as he ponders something.

”Any problem?” I ask.

”Pandora, if during the war your medical situation worsens without a saint to provide support and surrounded by enemies, what will you do?” He makes an interesting assumption.

”Obviously the only honorable thing in this situation...I would explode myself and take everyone with me” I want to choose how I’m going to die, if I’m going to be killed by enemies, I’d rather explode like a big mana bomb and send everyone to hell.

”Hahahaha you speak with such conviction, I like how you think, I wish Rosaline had that courage, if she were in that situation, she would probably try to flee or surrender to escape later” He laughs at Rosaline.

”And you, Lucius? As the Pope of the Church, what would you do in this situation? Besides, are you going to enter the war directly?” He is very weak compared to me, but by human standards he is quite strong, he must be as strong as Elena.

”I would do something similar to what you said, but with an important caveat, I would poison the enemies with the sacred element to ensure their deaths with absolute certainty after mine” He speaks with conviction.

’Cautious to the end’ Unlike my idea of just exploding myself as if I were a bomb, Lucius just said that he would focus on poisoning everyone in the area to ensure their deaths along with his.

”As for the war, I...probably won’t enter directly, as the Pope of the Church I can’t put myself at risk without an adequate successor, and I need to lead extra church troops in case of an emergency, after all the kingdom still needs protection” He states the obvious.

The kingdom cannot send 100% of its troops on this mission, as sending all the troops would leave its kingdom vulnerable to attack by other kingdoms, whether elves, dragons or even other dissatisfied human kingdoms.

”I understand, my father will also stay and manage reserve troops here in the kingdom” I tell him that Veritus will also not enter the war, he will remain here like many nobles who have only sent troops.

”Interesting, and are you going to war by your own choice?” He asks.

”Yes, I want to experience the war directly and take revenge on the scum that...well, let’s leave that aside, it’s kind of personal, you know?” I say leaving only vague clues.

”Oh yes, I understand completely, well, I hope you can realize your revenge before you die, and if you die, try to take as many enemies with you, even if you have to sacrifice some allies, after all it’s all for the goddess” He speaks with a fanatical smile.

He has just made it clear that he doesn’t care even for his own troops if it’s done in the name of the goddess, he is really crazy and a complete bastard.

”Of course, that’s the plan, well, I’ll have to go home in about...two hours, so let’s speed up the plans to manufacture angels? After all, these magnificent beings won’t build themselves” I say, picking up the papers on the table.

”You’re absolutely right, Pandora” He agrees as we start reviewing the papers, he is still suspicious of me, but he has no idea that I am an enemy controlling their steps like pawns.
