The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 337: An accident that would be comical if it weren’t tragic

After having a nice time with my toys, I decided to enter my universe. I want to see how itʼs doing in there before going to talk to Pope Lucios.

”...”

”Goddess!” As soon as I enter, the inhabitants recognize me and come to me excitedly. It seems everything is great in here.

”Whereʼs number 1?” I ask, since sheʼs the one who takes care of everything. As the place is growing, I think number 1 will become some kind of president or king for the population.

”Weʼll call her right away,” one of the inhabitants says while running off. Iʼm not sure what to say to them since theyʼre all called by numbers.

”Hey, you, whereʼs Velvet?” I ask a smaller inhabitant.

”G-Goddess, Velvet is currently in a house with Akari, enjoying some time together,” she says, while some go back to their duties, leaving just her with me.

They seem eager to be close, but they know I donʼt like this kind of crowding. Just one is enough.

”Whatʼs your number?” I ask.

”Iʼm 498, currently a student,” she says with a smile.

”Okay, howʼs the situation with the tortured ones?” I ask, but before she can respond, I see number one running up to us. 498 bows and says she has to go now.

”Goddess, I could hardly wait to see you again. How are you?” Number one asks hurriedly, like a happy little animal seeing its owner after some time apart.

”Iʼm fine, I just stopped by to check on how things are going,” I say as she nods.

”I believe youʼd like to see the tortured ones?” She asks, and I nod. She then begins to guide me through the buildings to the school. Everything seems perfectly organized, as expected.

Then Iʼm quickly taken to the underground, where I happen to see Vanessa. Sheʼs leaning against a wall, crying, while I hear very loud screams.

”Hello, ex-heroine. What are you doing here?” I ask mockingly, while Vanessa looks at me with a vacant stare.

”I-I just...” Number one interrupts her.

”Iʼm sorry to bother you with this, Goddess. The delinquents gave her permission to communicate with her parents... Iʼm sorry for the interruption,” Number one stops when I look at her coldly.

”So I see youʼve discovered it. Are you curious?” I ask Vanessa.

”H-How? How did you capture my parents? And w-why?” She asks, crying, as the screams continue from all sides. I hear sizzling sounds and catch unique scents.

ʼPoison, acid, fire, among some other things. Theyʼre really quite sadistic.ʼ This pleases me. They seem to be suffering terrible things.

”I donʼt owe you any explanations about how I captured those vermin, but the reason is quite simple. Iʼm evil, Iʼm the most malicious being of all. Obviously, I need to teach vermin who try to defy me just how dangerous I am,” I say to her with a huge smile.

”The parents of you heroes are suffering here because of you. You are the true culprits. If you werenʼt filthy vermin who bothered me, they wouldnʼt be here,” I tell her with a smile.

”Letʼs go, number one. The screams alone show me what I wanted to know. Besides, I allow Vanessa to come in here sometimes. She needs to see the price for her sin,” I say as we leave.

ʼThis is satisfactory.ʼ It seems even selfish humans like her can feel sad when the people they love are tortured.

”Number one, for now I want to see Velvet and Akari. Take me to their dwelling,” I say, looking at number oneʼs body.

ʼSheʼs quite beautiful, similar to me, but with very attractive differences.ʼ I havenʼt forgotten that I owe her a reward.

”O-Okay, Iʼm sorry for interrupting back then... I just didnʼt want you to waste time with tearful explanations,” she apologizes.

”Itʼs fine, just donʼt repeat it. After all, Iʼd like to hear her attempt at an explanation,” I say to her as we follow the street. The adoring looks are entertaining.

”Number one, how are things in here? Good? Or bad?” I ask as we continue forward.

”Theyʼre great, Goddess. Everything is as when you created us, except that now the area inside is much larger than just the school grounds, and we have more inhabitants. Weʼre also starting to try to give each other names.”

”The naming system is still incomplete, but in the future, weʼll all have names, which will allow for greater freedom in communication,” she says with a huge smile as we arrive at a beautiful and large house.

ʼThe place is still small. I need to expand it more.ʼ I can reach from one end of my universe to the other just by walking for 30 minutes. I know thatʼs enough for them, but for me, itʼs very little.

I need this universe to have the capacity to mass-produce food to send to my kingdom in the future, but for now, I guess itʼll have to stay like this.

ʼI hear very loud moans... it seems Velvet has Akari in her grasp.ʼ The moans are easily heard outside the house.

”...” Number one seems aroused by the obvious lust inside.

”I havenʼt forgotten your reward, number one,” I say, going to the door and opening it. Iʼm really curious to see Akari and Velvet together. Velvet is the dominant type.

So Akari, who has that air of a strict tutor, must be making a funny face. I enter and follow the corridor to where I hear the cries of pleasure.

”Wow...” Iʼm impressed by the very different sight from what I expected. Akari has her hands tied behind her back, one leg tied up high in the air and the other touching the floor.

Her neck is also tied to something on the ceiling, like a gear, while Velvet holds her hips and thigh, giving her extremely powerful thrusts using a very large strap-on. I can see the mark on Akariʼs belly.

”Oh, Pandora, when did you arrive?” Velvet says without stopping her relentless fucking of Akari, who is crying, but her expression is one of pure ecstasy.

ʼWho would have thought that responsible woman could make such an expression?ʼ Velvet is a succubus, so it makes sense that she would be quite bold and active.

”I just came to see how Akari and you are doing. After all, Akari and I made a deal for me to bring you back, so checking on her satisfaction seemed responsible,” I lie.

I just wanted to see how the two of them were doing. Besides, Velvet has some really good sex tips.

”I see, I see. Well, as you can see, weʼre wonderfully well. Weʼve resolved stupid past issues, and now our love is blossoming like a beautiful nebulous dragon flower,” she says with a smile.

ʼNebulous dragon flower... isnʼt that the flower thatʼs a potent drug that affects the brain?ʼ I donʼt understand the comparison. Taken literally, it sounds horrible.

”Pandora, donʼt look at me like that. This flower isnʼt just a brain-destroying drug. If itʼs well cared for and in the right season, it has a sweeter effect,” Velvet says, finally stopping her thrusting in Akari and removing the toy, which is larger than expected.

”Want to try some?” She asks, putting her hands on her hips.

”No, I really donʼt feel like putting that dirty thing in my mouth,” I say, rolling my eyes.

”What a pity. As a veteran, Iʼm just offering a sweet favor, but I understand... so, what did you think of the mana control skill I taught you? Was it useful?” She asks.

”Quite. Iʼm currently using it on the human Pope,” I say. Converting my mana and ambient mana into different effects is useful not only for lust or combat, but also for gaining the trust of others.

”Youʼre such a wretched viper, haha, using my wonderful tutoring to deceive others,” she says with a diabolical smile, releasing the ropes on Akari, causing her to crumple to the floor.

ʼShe doesnʼt seem very conscious.ʼ She must have passed out.

”I see youʼre taking advantage of the fact that you canʼt die,” I say, noting the marks on Akariʼs neck.

”Itʼs all consensual, and she loves it. When you realize that in this place weʼre immortal, the limits diminish, although I donʼt recommend trying to go too deep,” she says with a shiver.

”Did you do something wrong?” I ask, conversing as if we were long-time friends.

”Yes, I really upset Akari too. It happens that Akari here is as weak as normal humans, and although I donʼt have my powers, the body is still that of a demon...” She says, avoiding eye contact.

”...?”

”Letʼs just say I burst something I shouldnʼt have by shoving something too big too deep. I got a beating for that and was without sex for two weeks. How the hell was I supposed to know she couldnʼt handle it? I didnʼt know she was so weak,” she says, pouting.

ʼBurst...ʼ I think I know what happened, and it really sounds unpleasant.

”Just to confirm, did a lot of blood come out?”

”...Yes, and not just blood, other things fell out too. It was terrifying, you know? I even cried in fear, thinking she was going to die, even though she recovered quickly. And the first thing she did was hit me. Sheʼs scary when sheʼs angry,” she says with shivers.

”...Youʼre quite wild.”

”A little, you know how it is? Iʼm a succubus and was a demon king before. Obviously, Iʼm quite severe in sex, but by testing the limits, me and her discovered how far our bodies can go.”

”Now we donʼt have any more bad accidents like that, and no one in this place can die. Itʼs kind of bizarre... besides, did you know those weird things that look like you have a strange personal taste? Or maybe itʼs a fetish? I donʼt know,” she whispers, as if itʼs a secret.

”Personal taste?”

”Yes!! Cannibalism! Iʼve seen them devouring each other. Itʼs kind of scary, usually happening at night in dark places. They attack each other and just start a fight to eat the other one, so me and Akari usually donʼt go out at night,” she says, genuinely shivering.

”Number one, is this true?” I ask, while number one averts her gaze.

”Well... it happens occasionally, but usually, itʼs only a limited number of them who do it. Not all of them. It mainly happens among the delinquent schoolgirls. They said something about a book they saw in the library.”

”After reading those books, they said they need to show whoʼs in charge in each area, so they started fighting. But there are rules, and they donʼt involve anyone else, so itʼs all good, right?” Number one asks.

ʼBook? What the hell kind of book is that?ʼ The books in this place are based on my memories. What could I have that made them think of that.

ʼ...ʼ

”Yes, itʼs fine as long as they donʼt involve the others... Well, Velvet, it was great to see you, but I have some matters to attend to. I just stopped by to say hello and check on my universe,” I say, shaking Velvetʼs hand.

”Okay, thank you so much for the opportunity. Me and Akari are so happy here. Youʼre a true friend!” She says with a smile.

”Of course,” I say, just that, going to the door to leave.

”Hey, Pandora, if you want, you can stop by anytime, and Iʼll make your legs so weak you wonʼt be able to walk!” She says as I exit.

”If Iʼm in the mood for a quick distraction, it might be,” I say, not really interested in the offer.

ʼIʼve seen that everything is fine, so itʼs time to go back.ʼ Iʼll just do one last thing. Iʼve done a brief check on everything, and itʼs okay in here, so after doing this, Iʼll go back to Veritusʼ mansion and prepare for the academy.
