CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 64: Chapter 72: You Bite Me

Before James Black could even call out, Jane Sampson had already lost the ability to speak.

Both her hands were firmly imprisoned by James Black, in a way that was anything but gentle, and had nothing to do with his kiss. He bit at her lips mercilessly, as if to punish her for her schadenfreude, recklessly robbing her of her air and her sweetness.

When Old Master Black passed by outside the door and saw that the room door was open, he didn’t think much of it. He tapped on the doorway and walked in, saying, ”Since you’re both up, why not come down for breakfast?”

Old Master Black probably hadn’t anticipated that a careful look at the doorway would reveal such a steamy scene within the room.

”I...” The first reaction of Old Master Black was to quickly retreat and close the door for them, mumbling, ”Do youngsters these days all have a hobby of not closing their doors? They probably got confused after waking up, thinking they were in their own home.”

After closing the door, Old Master Black stood outside with a he-he chuckle, then called out, ”Don’t rush down for breakfast. I’ll have Aunt reheat it for both of you. Work hard, and let me hold a granddaughter sooner rather than later!”

After saying that, Old Master Black hummed a song and cheerfully went downstairs, leaving Brooke Black who had just come out of the kitchen surprised at how happy he was.

”Dad, why are you in such a good mood this early in the morning?” Brooke asked casually.

”What do you know, you little child?” Old Sir retorted to Brooke Black, ”Don’t ask unnecessary questions.”

A little child?

Brooke Black, already well past the legal age for marriage, was utterly baffled.

”Yes, yes, whatever you say,” Brooke felt it would be foolish to argue with Old Sir at this time about whether she was still a child at home.

Upstairs, Jane’s face was beet red. She was gasping for air, her lips swollen and not looking good at all, the bases of her eyes covered in a layer of mist, either from being bullied too hard or from the pain of being bitten. She glared at the man on top of her, but had no idea that such a gaze on her part not only lacked any intimidation but also added an extra touch of irresistible charm.

James Black looked down at her from above, taking in every bit of her seductive appearance, his gaze even harboring fanciful thoughts.

”James Black, you bit me!” Jane didn’t consider it a kiss at all; the whole time, all she felt was James Black’s frightening intensity, as if he wanted to swallow her whole.

”Kissing you,” James rarely took the time to explain.

”Pah! You bit me!” What kind of kiss was that? She was so terrified she didn’t even dare to breathe too deeply, truly believing James Black was so annoyed that he wanted to bite her to death.

”Don’t believe it?” James Black frowned, ”Then let’s try it again and see if you feel it’s a kiss or...”

”Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!” Jane quickly covered her mouth and changed her tune. Watching James Black stand up, she finally breathed a sigh of relief and muttered under her breath, thinking he couldn’t hear, ”Bed skills might be lacking, but to fall short even in kissing!”

While other little lovebirds might feel aflame with passion after a kiss, with him, damn, it’s life-threatening!

Jane didn’t notice that James Black, who was walking out, paused and turned back with a dark look.

”Jane Sampson.” James Black called out to the woman in the bed.

Jane lifted her head to look at the standing figure, meeting James Black’s ominous gaze and shuddering with fear, ”What do you want?”

Don’t look at me like that; I’m really scared!

Jane secretly hoped that this guy wouldn’t want to go for another kiss.
