I Became a Medical Genius in the 80s

Chapter 845: Chapter 844: Farewell, Friend!

The cleanup work will last for about a month, making an utmost effort to eliminate all harmful things in this forest.

Therefore, Beisitian and the others can boldly attempt to eliminate the mother insect.

Actually, Beisitian already understands the nature of this mother insect somewhat; those flying insects are used to paralyze human nerves, which allows the mother insect to penetrate into a human’s body, or more accurately, into their brain.

Beisitian pondered over what kind of talisman could kill such insects; ordinary pesticides cannot kill them, and if they were burned, it’s likely to leave behind eggs.

Beisitian had heard of similar wriggling insects before, which, when faced with a fire, buried their eggs underground or attached them to other organisms to preserve their life.

If a better method existed, Beisitian was not planning to give this dangerous species any chance of survival; it would be best if they were completely wiped out, as these species should never have appeared in the world.

Swiftly searching for a suitable talisman in her mind, the mother insects were either not smart enough or were certain that they could not be touched by humans, just wriggling in the belly of a big fish, showing no interest in approaching this group of humans beyond their earlier moves towards Lin Yunping.

Knowing too little about these insects, Beisitian couldn’t think of a better talisman at the moment, but upon seeing Lin Yunping, inspiration struck her.

Lacking knowledge about these insects’ properties meant not knowing what talisman could kill them; there was only one chance, if the mother insects weren’t killed, they would certainly launch suicidal attacks with flying insects to cover their escape.

In this case...

”Buy me some time.” Beisitian said to Desan and others, then took a few steps back, standing amongst the group, with Wei Zhongyuan immediately filling the vacancy.

Recalling a talisman used in her past life, Beisitian quickly took out a Yellow Talisman and pen to draw rapidly, absent of any herbal medicine, yet took nearly five seconds, which was considerably long for Beisitian.

The same talisman was drawn by Beisitian three times, and once all were completed, she applied the same technique to push the Xuan Talisman toward the mother insects, then made it explode.

Talisman powder fell gracefully from the sky, and upon contact, the mother insects paused slightly before resuming their normal group wriggling.

However, issues soon arose among them, with one insect starting an attack on another, quickly killing it.

Then, this insect was killed by another!

In less than a minute, chaos erupted among the mother insects in the fish’s belly, as they began fighting and devouring each other.

Chu Zhicheng was shocked, having been puzzled by Beisitian’s talisman making earlier, but upon witnessing this scene, he no longer hesitated.

”Doctor Bei, what is this...”

Beisitian nodded, ”Yes, I used the method of raising Gu!”

Chu Zhicheng frowned slightly, ”Is this really appropriate!”

Beisitian smiled slightly, ”Doctor Chu, don’t worry, my medicine has a restraining effect, it won’t allow the last one to grow into fruition, and without the next steps, these Poisonous Insects won’t become a threat.”

Upon hearing this, Chu Zhicheng realized that although the talisman-made Xuan Talisman’s effect resembled Gu-raising medicine, it was different, and without proceeding further, there wouldn’t truly emerge poisonous Gu insects.

His thoughts turned to the flying insects, saying, ”Doctor Bei, can it affect these flying insects?”

Beisitian also thought this was possible; she was inspired by the methods of raising Gu, essentially to make these insects fight and deplete themselves quickly, applicable to the flying insects as well!

This time, Beisitian did not teach such talismans to others, only giving them to Qingyu and others, guarding against anyone harboring malicious intentions or developing such intentions later, thus using talismans to raise Gu and harm others.

Gu worms can also save people, but these have long-standing traditions.

Qingyu’s people quickly exploded the Xuan Talisman upon the flying insects, and soon the flying insects began fighting among themselves!

Without the mother insect’s orders, the flying insects were naturally timid, and now entangled in mutual slaughter, were unconcerned for the Mystic Doctors on the ground.

Chu Zhicheng swiftly approached Lin Yunping, tried several times but couldn’t expel the Poisonous Insects inside him, and had to seek Beisitian’s help.

However, he didn’t hold much hope, knowing Beisitian’s disposition might ignore Lin Yunping.

”Alright.” Beisitian said as she stepped forward.

Chu Zhicheng was unexpectedly moved by her easy consent.

”Thank you, Doctor Bei, your generosity is admirable!”

Beisitian’s actions were certainly admirable, turning enmity into kindness.

Yet...

Those who know Beisitian didn’t quite think so; if Lin Yunping faced a life threat, Beisitian might put aside their enmity to save him, but now Lin Yunping could endure until returning for the surgical removal of the insects, it’s certain Beisitian wouldn’t bother.

Since she intended to help...

Wei Zhongyuan and others from Qingyu cast pitiful glances towards Lin Yunping.

Friend, take care!

Beisitian approached Lin Yunping, gently pressing his stomach, having just seen some flying insects fly in, wondering if they flew into his stomach?

”Not many entered through the ear, easy to handle, but if this stomach isn’t treated soon, it might burst,” Beisitian said.

While Lin Yunping could endure until returning for surgery, he had to undergo significant torment and suppression, but what if suppression fails.

Chu Zhicheng understood this truth, hence seeking Beisitian’s help, and hearing her remark, it matched his judgment precisely.

Beisitian retrieved a small piece of incense from herself, lit it, placed it by Lin Yunping’s ear, and gently blew into it, as the scent wafted in, Lin Yunping’s body quivered rapidly.

Then, one after another, five flying insects crawled out, disdainfully flying away, only to be killed by their companions right after flying out.

Chu Zhicheng knew making such incense wasn’t easy; ordinary incense making methods were secretive, though the Ancient Wood School could do it, it wasn’t remarkable.

After drawing out the flying insects from Lin Yunping’s ear, although his head felt somewhat swollen, without the persistent paralysis effect, his mind quickly became much clearer, and seeing Beisitian saving him, he suddenly felt embarrassed.

However, he soon overlooked these emotions, being hardly prepared for such circumstances.

Beisitian immediately crafted a talisman, then handed it to Lin Yunping, saying, ”Drink this.”

Lin Yunping hesitated not and drank it immediately.
