Rebirth in the 90s: Her Counterattack and Redemption

Chapter 796: Chapter 475: Seizing Power / Reunion

”Fool!” Luo Ye sniffed and twisted Ye Xuan’s arm: ”What a fool, you haven’t answered me yet, do Grandpa and the others know?”

Ye Xuan smiled: ”Of course, Grandpa and Dad both know, otherwise, I wouldn’t have been able to transfer the ownership. Grandpa’s signature is needed for this.”

Luo Ye’s eyes became moist, and she said with a hint of blame: ”Don’t make decisions like this on your own in the future, or people might think I’m after your family’s fortune.”

”Would you even care?” Ye Xuan chuckled, patting her head, his expression turning serious: ”Ye’er, you already have almost everything I do. In the future, there will be less and less that I can help you with, while you’ll be able to help me more and more. So, start helping me with managing the Ye Family business, okay?”

Luo Ye pouted: ”You know I can’t be involved in management.”

”You can’t be directly involved in management, but you have many capable people under you. Allocating shares to your name will make it easier to integrate resources among several families.

In one’s lifetime, the things one can actually use are very few. Since we have this convenience, we should make full use of the resources at hand to do more things, so as not to live in vain, right?”

Though she knew he was saying it deliberately, Luo Ye couldn’t find a reason to refuse. She nodded and agreed: ”Fine, I’ll accept it, as long as you don’t regret it.”

Ye Xuan teased with a light laugh: ”Why would I regret it? From now on, you’re responsible for me. Regretting is useless from this moment on.”

”You two...” Ye Qingping looked at them speechlessly. Are the Ye Family’s shares something that can be given away like a child’s play?

”This matter, you can directly ask Grandpa about it. We need to go accompany Great Grandpa.” Having said that, Ye Xuan took Luo Ye directly back to the ward, leaving Ye Qingping stunned. When she tried to follow them in, Feng Taixing stopped her: ”You can’t go in.”

”Why?” Ye Qingping was furious.

Feng Taixing looked at her sideways: ”I wasn’t around just now, that’s how you sneaked in. Because I’m a doctor, it’s my duty to ensure the patient recovers soon.”

Ye Qingping had long experienced Feng Taixing’s unyielding nature, so she didn’t pursue it anymore, but returned to the Ye Family in fury. She stormed into Old Master Ye’s study, questioning him about why he agreed to give Ye Xuan’s Ye Family shares to Luo Ye so early.

”Qingping, where are your manners?” Grandpa Ye looked at his granddaughter, his face full of anger.

”Grandpa, the Ye Family shares have been given to an outsider, how can I care about manners?” Ye Qingping knitted her brows, her face full of dissatisfaction.

”Ye’er is a member of the Ye Family. Xiao Xuan gave her what belongs to him, and I have no reason to disagree.” Old Master Ye looked at her calmly, ”Qingping, just manage your own affairs, there’s no need to mix in other things.”

”I’m also a member of the Ye Family; I have a responsibility to protect everything of the Ye Family. Why...”

”Qingping!” Grandpa Ye interrupted her with a shout.

”There’s no ’why,’ Qingping. Some words Second Grandpa didn’t want to speak too clearly, but since you’ve brought it up, let’s have a family meeting today.” Old Master Ye said as he stood up, looking at Grandpa Ye, ”It’s rare that all Ye Family members are gathered, it’s time for a meeting.”

Half an hour later, Ye Xuan and Luo Ye were summoned back.

Following that, Ye Jian, whose face was still swollen, returned with Si Yue and Ye Qinglian accompanying him. When he saw Luo Ye and Ye Xuan, he couldn’t help but shrink back.

A total of 46 Ye Family members from domestic and abroad were gathered in the Ye Family’s large meeting room. Old Master Ye sat at the head, Grandpa Ye next, and the others sat according to their rank.

Scanning the room, Old Master Ye began solemnly: ”It’s rare for everyone to be gathered, but unfortunately...” He sighed heavily before continuing, ”The Elder’s health is unpredictable, but I believe what he least wants to see is everyone abandoning work and study because of him. After discussing with my brother, we decided that after the New Year, the Ye Family business will undergo a slight adjustment...”

Hearing this, Luo Qingping’s face changed color instantly, and as Old Master Ye continued to explain, her expression grew increasingly ugly.

With the restructuring, both domestic and international aspects of the Ye Family business became completely unified. The overseas head was changed from Uncle Ye to Fourth Uncle Ye, and the domestic head was changed from Uncle Ye to Seventh Uncle Ye. All major project decisions must be personally reviewed and signed by the two of them before implementation.

In this way, Ye Qingping’s power abroad was nearly stripped away. She was not foolish, and she quickly understood that this move was aimed at her. Otherwise, both Uncle Ye and Uncle Ye’s positions wouldn’t have been changed...
