Rebirth in the 90s: Her Counterattack and Redemption

Chapter 777: Chapter 466: Fury!

”Mom, sis, what are you doing?” Ye Jian angrily looked at Mom Si Yue and elder sister Ye Qinglian standing by the bed. He was sleeping soundly, when the two of them, without any greeting, pulled off his quilt.

His elder sister was even pinching and pulling his ears relentlessly, which, to someone with a bad temper upon waking like him, was the most intolerable thing.

”Xiao Jian, hurry, hurry, get dressed...” Si Yue forcefully pulled her son upward, urgently saying, ”If you don’t get up now, it will be too late. Quickly.”

Ye Jian’s eyes instantly widened: ”Mom, Great Grandpa... has passed away?”

”You child, always making wild guesses. Grandpa is still in a deep sleep; it’s your elder brother and Qing Zhu, Qing He, Luo Ye, and a group coming for you to settle accounts.

This morning Elder Zhan said, Grandpa still hasn’t woken up, likely there is more bad news than good. Xiao Jian, hurry and hide at Grandpa’s house, wait for this period to pass, Mom will plead for you in front of him, then you can come back.”

While Si Yue was explaining, Ye Qinglian had already found clothes for Ye Jian, urgently urging: ”Quick, get dressed. With your elder brother’s skills, if you really fall into his hands, you’re in for big trouble.”

Ye Jian’s face ”swished” changed upon hearing that. He knew well his elder brother’s skills; with his small build, one kick could leave him half-dead.

In his panicked haste, he wore his sweater upside down, with the collar tightly caught under his armpit unable to pull down. Si Yue took a careful look and urgently tugged upward: ”It’s reversed, take it off, quickly take it off.”

”Let it be reversed, there’s no time.” Ye Qinglian shouted while pushing Si Yue aside. With a forceful grip, the sweater got torn with a rip and pulled off.

”Boom boom boom...”

Just as his pants were pulled up halfway, there came urgent knocking from the door.

”What to do? What to do?” Ye Qinglian anxiously spun in circles, seeing a mop leaning against the wall, she grabbed it and handed it to Ye Jian, ”Brother, when the door opens, hit with it and run out.”

Si Yue pulled her son back, glaring at her daughter: ”Stop giving bad ideas. With Xiao Xuan’s skills, can Xiao Jian hit him? As for running, do you think that group will let him get away?”

”Then... what should we do?” The increasingly urgent knocking had Ye Jian completely flustered, looking around, he suddenly dashed toward the window.

Ye Qinglian urgently chased after him, grabbing her brother who was climbing onto the window: ”Xiao Jian, no, we’re on the 17th floor. You think you’re Ye Xuan?”

”I’d rather fall to my death than be beaten to death by him.” Ye Jian said angrily, continuing to climb upward.

”Come down!” Si Yue yelled urgently, ”You child, can’t you do the math? If you fall from the 17th floor, that’s certainly death; if Ye Xuan beats you, at most you’ll just get injured. Tell me, which choice is more reasonable?”

Ye Jian’s body suddenly froze. Yes, if he’s dead, there’s no chance; if he’s just injured, he can have another go. Besides, Qiao Xiaowan already accepted him.

Therefore, the Lian Family’s property being transferred to his name is a matter of time. He doesn’t believe that when the time comes, Grandpa will totally favor Ye Xuan and ignore him!

While the three inside hesitated and tangled, the knocking Ye Xuan lost patience. He took a wire, skillfully poked a few times, and with a click, the door lock opened.

He had just taken one step when he felt a figure flash ”swish” by. Looking closely, Lady Luo had already rushed to stand beside Ye Jian by the window.

”Everyone stop, let Ye’er vent a bit.” Ye Xuan said, gesturing ”stop” to the group behind him; he himself also stopped, quietly watching as Luo Ye faced off against the mother’s trio from their second uncle’s family. From what he knew of this girl, he could basically confirm this was the calm before a volcanic eruption.

However, to have made Lady Luo this angry fully demonstrated how important Grandpa was to her.

Luo Feng looked at his sister’s expression, unable to watch any longer, turning his head aside. He knew his sister’s character best; just looking at her now, it undoubtedly meant someone was going to be in big trouble, really big trouble...

Seeing Ye Xuan stop his steps, Si Yue, Ye Jian, and Ye Qinglian all experienced joy in their hearts. They feared Ye Xuan’s skills; as for Luo Ye, though they’d heard that this girl’s skills were decent too, she was still a girl and had trained for a shorter time. To injure Ye Jian, it wasn’t very likely.

”No need to look at me like that. The main culprit causing all this today is you! If it weren’t for you, Xiao Wan wouldn’t have been disfigured, I wouldn’t have quarreled with Great Grandpa. So, you are the jinx, you are... ow...”

With no warning, Luo Ye raised her foot to kick, targeting — below the waist.

With her skills kicking precisely there, unless Ye Jian were made of steel, it was extremely painful. He hunched over, clutching his belly, gasping, unable to even cry out in pain.

”How can you be so rough, if you kick him and he’s crippled, I won’t forgive you.” Si Yue said, hurriedly bending down and reaching toward her son’s lower body.

Although Ye Jian was gasping for air in pain, he still had a sense of shame, dodging to the side despite the pain, squeezing out a few words: ”Mom, you... what are you doing?”

”Let Mom check it, there’s no time to be concerned with scruples now. You foolish child, this concerns your lifelong issue.” Si Yue said while reaching out again.

”Ow!”

”Ah!”

Luo Ye kicked again and again; both of Ye Jian’s calves got hit once each, so painful that he didn’t know where to hold. He didn’t think of fighting back. He knew how much his elder brother cared about Luo Ye, and if he struck back, would his elder brother spare him?

However, this woman was too fierce. One kick after another, still not finished. He resentfully raised his eyes to look at Luo Ye and suddenly froze.

In his memory, Luo Ye, although not gentle as water, was definitely sweet and lovely. But in her current state, she was clearly a furious little leopard.

Her big eyes full of anger glared at him, with her layered short hair adding an indescribable spirited vitality...

Ye Jian shrunk back, simply sitting on the ground, stubbornly looking at Luo Ye: ”Kick away, kick me to death; it’s just that I also regret to the point of wishing to die.”

”Boom boom boom...” Luo Ye showed no mercy, one kick after another followed up.

”Ow! ... Ah! ... Little sister-in-law, I beg you, I... I was wrong, ow, I really was wrong, please... spare me...”

Ye Jian, who was holding back with clenched teeth, ultimately couldn’t endure anymore.

But Luo Ye was unmoved, kicking him randomly all over his body, seemingly messy but actually carefully avoiding fatal areas, targeting spots that were painful yet not life-threatening.

She guaranteed that in the next half month to a month, Ye Jian would definitely feel sore all over without knowing exactly where it hurt!
