Why Would an Aircraft Carrier Be Dispatched to Escort His Fishing Boat?

148: Chapter 148 Falling from the Sky, Aircraft Carriers Aren’t So AppealingAn overwhelming number of birds, sea beasts, and strange creatures were continuously and crazily attacking the Dragon Soul aircraft carrier fleet.

It was as if these outsiders had invaded their home, and they were now launching a defensive war.

Even though Dragon Soul was fighting while retreating, the enemy remained relentless, wanting to wipe them all out.

”Deputy Commander, take my place temporarily! Everyone else, follow me!”

Seeing more and more creatures climbing onto the hull, where electromagnetic cannons couldn’t be used and fighter jets couldn’t easily strafe, Commander Yan Luo made a prompt decision. He quickly put on his battle armor, held a laser weapon, let out a roar, and rushed out of the command room.

Bzzzt!

A group of the most elite Gene Warriors followed Commander Yan Luo, continuously eliminating the sea beasts that had climbed onto the hull.

The sea beasts were strafed by the laser weapons, and immediately, in agony, they thrashed wildly and fell into the ocean.

Just as the Gene Warriors had entered the fray and suppressed the sea beasts for a while.

Suddenly!

An exceptionally huge sea beast suddenly burst out of the sea surface.

It was larger than any sea beast before it.

It seemed to weigh ten thousand tons.

When it burst out of the water, a nearby destroyer was affected by the massive waves; it lost power, was thrown half a nautical mile away, and nearly capsized.

Obviously!

This was a Sea Beast King.

Its appearance was just too strange—it looked like a fish yet not a fish, like a snake yet not a snake.

But as soon as everyone saw it, they knew that this thing was definitely the King of Sea Beasts.

It was simply because its body was too massive.

After this Sea Beast King broke through the water, it did not attack the other destroyers or cruisers.

Instead, it headed straight for the Dragon Soul aircraft carrier itself!

This.

It was clearly a sea beast with intelligence.

Boom! Boom!

Multiple consecutive electromagnetic cannon shots aimed instantly at this King of Sea Beasts.

However.

The electromagnetic cannon fire hit the creature as if it were just scratching an itch; its scales only made a slight sizzling sound, and it did not affect the creature’s charge in the slightest.

”This is too insane!”

Commander Yan Luo noticed this ten-thousand-ton sea beast charging at them, and with such insane defensive power, his heart skipped a beat.

Even he, a commander who had been patrolling the ocean for years, was stunned by such an insane sea beast.

Could it be...

Was he, Commander Yan Luo, really going to perish here today along with his beloved aircraft carrier fleet!

”Impossible!”

”I still have a trump card!”

Commander Yan Luo gritted his teeth.

After casually punching a sea snake that had suddenly opened its bloodthirsty maw to attack him, turning it into a mist of blood.

He reached to his waist and pulled out a whip that looked like a soft leather belt.

With a flick of his hand.

The soft belt transformed into a laser sword ten meters long and 20 centimeters in diameter.

As a supernatural biological entity whose genes had mutated to have a gathering effect on light particles.

This laser sword, named ’Yan Luo’, was specially made for him by the Dragon Group in collaboration with several departments.

With the enhancement of this laser sword, he could unleash a high-energy particle beam.

He didn’t believe that his high-energy particle beam couldn’t deal with the opponent.

Roar!

The King of Sea Beasts soared into the sky, almost crushing down onto the Dragon Soul aircraft carrier.

Commander Yan Luo’s laser sword suddenly erupted with a high-energy particle beam dozens of meters long, like a rainbow piercing the firmament, striking the sea beast.

Awooo.

The sea beast just let out a cry of pain.

But its body still showed no large-scale holes.

Instead, with blood-red eyes, it swiped its tail against the main body of the Dragon Soul aircraft carrier.

Dragon Soul was, after all, a hundred-thousand-ton class ship.

But after being heavily swiped by the sea beast, the main body was thrown half a nautical mile to one side.

Many Gene Warriors, as if struck by a heavy blow, fell into the sea.

The King of Sea Beasts, relentless, charged up again, intending to smash the deck of Dragon Soul to pieces.

Seeing that even the laser sword couldn’t deal with the opponent.

At this moment.

Commander Yan Luo, feeling somewhat desperate, suddenly hoped that some peerless hero could step on auspicious clouds...

”Unfortunately, that is impossible!”

”Dragon Cry is still in Somalia!”

”Dragon God is far away on the Antarctic continent, ten thousand miles away...”

Just as Commander Yan Luo was prepared to die in the ocean.

A high-energy particle beam, one thousand meters long and ten meters thick, suddenly streaked across the sky.

It was fierce and overbearing, with explosive energy, and it instantly severed the tail of the King of Sea Beasts on the spot!

Roar!

”Holy crap!”

Both the King of Sea Beasts and Commander Yan Luo screamed on the spot.

”Where did that high-energy particle beam come from? It’s so big?”

Commander Yan Luo was dumbfounded.

He quickly looked in the direction of the high-energy particle beam.

And the King of Sea Beasts also turned around in anger, wanting to see which coward had ambushed it.

However,

just at this moment.

Another high-energy particle beam, one thousand meters long and over ten meters thick, struck over.

It didn’t end there!

The third beam.

The fourth beam.

The fifth beam.

The sixth beam!

The seventh beam!

A full ten terrifyingly thick high-energy particle beams blasted over.

Pfft, pfft, pfft!

The King of Sea Beasts didn’t even see which coward the high-energy particle beams came from before its body was blasted into more than twenty pieces...

Splash!

The King of Sea Beasts turned into a pool of blood and fell onto the sea surface.

The remaining marine creatures, seeing that the Sea King had been killed, seemed to sense the danger and immediately slowed their attack.

And the fighter jets in the sky and the electromagnetic cannons on the destroyers began their counterattack.

The marine creatures gradually began to retreat.

And at this moment.

Under the dumbfounded gaze of Commander Yan Luo.

He also saw that from the direction the high-energy particle beams came, ten Horse Terracotta Warriors were pulling a small fishing boat, descending from the sky.

It landed not far above the main body of the Dragon Soul aircraft carrier.

The small fishing boat was being pulled by the Terracotta Warriors, hovering in the air.

Jiang Chen jumped down from the small fishing boat and landed on the deck.

”Commander of Dragon Soul, are you alright!”

Jiang Chen strode forward.

Commander Yan Luo hurriedly reached out his hand: ”Hello! I am Commander Yan Luo, and you are?”

”I was sent by Commander Tang Ze to rescue you!”

Jiang Chen replied.

Commander Yan Luo was greatly surprised; he looked up in astonishment at the thing above his head: ”Are you also affiliated with the Naval Department Base?”

”Of course, I belong to the Dragon Cry aircraft carrier fleet.”

Jiang Chen took out his small military-green booklet.

Commander Yan Luo took a glance, and his heart screamed wildly.

Holy crap, holy crap!

Such an awesome small fishing boat.

It’s pulled by ten Horse Terracotta Warriors and can even release high-energy particle beams!

Why doesn’t my aircraft carrier have such black technology?

At this moment.

Commander Yan Luo suddenly felt that his Dragon Soul didn’t seem so great anymore.

”No way!”

”I must find Old Tang later and ask him why Dragon Soul isn’t equipped with such powerful black technology?”

”Our Dragon Soul needs to be equipped with such a small fishing boat too!”

”He can’t favor their Dragon Cry!”

After Commander Yan Luo made up his mind.

He suddenly noticed that Jiang Chen’s small booklet stated he was a battalion-level combat unit.

His eyes suddenly lit up, and he said.

”Mr. Jiang, at the Dragon Cry aircraft carrier fleet, you are only a battalion-level combat unit? That is such a waste of talent! Have you considered coming to our Dragon Soul aircraft carrier fleet?”

”Regimental... oh no, at least a brigade-level combat unit!”

”Same level as a cruiser!”

Covetous, Commander Yan Luo was actually planning to poach talent from the other side.
