Why Would an Aircraft Carrier Be Dispatched to Escort His Fishing Boat?

107: Chapter 107 Aircraft Carrier Assembles, Fishing Boats Take to the SkiesDuring World War II.

A large number of scientists immigrated from the Western Europe continent to the United States to escape the war.

Among them was the famous scientist, Einstein.

After the war ended, while other countries were still recovering, the United States relied on these scientists to make rapid progress and achieve immense development.

It could be said that scientific research talent is the primary driving force for a country’s progress and development.

And now.

With the appearance of Dragon Country’s life no. 1, a large number of scientific research talents began migrating toward Dragon Country.

Even though the difficulty was immense and the costs were staggering, there were still large numbers of top-tier talents queuing up to apply for a Dragon Country green card.

The Lord of the Black Robe watched as more and more domestic scientists chose to apply for Dragon Country green cards.

Naturally, he grew anxious.

”Damn it!”

”How could Dragon Country possibly develop a miraculous serum like life no. 1!”

The Lord of the Black Robe looked angry and extremely unwilling to accept this.

The Sigma Gene Serum developed by the Lizard Queen, although effective on the human body...

...had a limited target audience.

One had to risk their life.

After testing on over ten thousand people last time, only one percent became powerful Gene Warriors.

For the remaining 99%, the best-case scenario was becoming brain-dead.

In severe cases, they were already being buried.

Under these circumstances, this gene serum definitely couldn’t be promoted on a large scale.

It could only be used within the military on a small scale.

Even within the military, it was resisted by many big shots.

After all.

This thing really could kill people.

No one was willing to risk their life to test it.

Inside the Black Palace, the Lizard Queen dragged her long tail as she walked out from the shadows behind a large pillar.

She said,

”The speed of Dragon Country’s rapid progress is indeed surprising.”

”I think they might have really discovered something on the Antarctic Continent.”

The Lord of the Black Robe looked at the Lizard Queen.

The USS Lincoln, which had been transferred away from the Antarctic Continent last time, had now returned to the waters near the Antarctic Continent to monitor the Dragon God.

But there had been no movement from the Dragon God’s side.

After all, it had been staying there and hadn’t returned to Dragon Country.

”But the Dragon God has been in the waters near the Antarctic Continent, and their Scientific Research Station hasn’t shown any major activity either.”

The Lord of the Black Robe replied.

Three aircraft carriers were over there.

Even if a fly flew past, they would be able to detect it.

If Dragon Country’s Scientific Research Station really had a huge discovery, they would definitely send the news back to Dragon Country.

”Perhaps they have already sent the news back to Dragon Country via encrypted telegram.”

”A few days ago, didn’t the underwater monitoring department detect the Dragon God dispatching a large number of underwater Gene Warriors for training?”

”Those people didn’t even have oxygen supply systems; it’s clearly abnormal.”

The Lizard Queen speculated.

The Lord of the Black Robe frowned deeply. ”What should we do? Talent is draining away, and they seem to have made a major discovery on the Antarctic Continent... If this continues, we will definitely be overtaken!”

”My suggestion is to assemble the carriers, expel the Dragon God, and then announce ownership of the Antarctic Continent.”

The Lizard Queen spoke.

Hearing this, the Lord of the Black Robe’s expression changed slightly in surprise.

Ownership of the Antarctic Continent?!

This was no small matter.

Not to mention whether Dragon Country would have a huge reaction, the countries of Western Europe and other developed nations would likely jump up in opposition.

”Regardless of whether it succeeds, at the very least, we can’t let Dragon Country continue their research in peace on the Antarctic Continent.”

”Or rather, once the standoff reaches a certain point, they might hand over their discovery.”

The Lizard Queen said calculatingly.

The Lord of the Black Robe pondered for half an hour.

Then.

He slammed the table suddenly.

”Let’s do it!”

”Someone, come here!”

The Lord of the Black Robe shouted.

He had someone patch through a radio call to Wilson, the Commander-in-Chief of the Pacific Fleet.

[Head south!]

[Head south!]

[Head south!]

[Expel the Dragon God!]

[SSSSSSSSSS-class encrypted telegram!]

...

Pearl River Military Port.

When the Pacific Fleet headquarters received the highest-level encrypted telegram from the Black Palace.

Jiang Chen was giving the small fishing boat its fourth national-level full-service maintenance.

[1. Dismantle the enhanced mortars and Gatling guns; replace them all with six smart fire-control electromagnetic cannons—two on each side and one in the front.]

[2. Install mechanical wings, the same model as Cuihua’s, in the middle of both sides of the hull. However, they will be four times the size of Cuihua’s wings, meaning a single wing span of four meters. When not in use, they can be retracted into the hull.]

[3. The cockpit will no longer have a semi-windshield, but rather a retractable panoramic Carbon-9 Glass. It will be completely sealed when closed, similar to a fighter jet cockpit, making the interior invisible from the outside.]

[4. Optimize and upgrade the cockpit’s operating system.]

[5. At the electromagnetic cannon positions, equip four Shrimp Soldiers and two Crab Generals. Heavenly General Chi Yao Cui Hua will be in overall command, with the Jindai Bird as the aerial force; the organization remains unchanged for now.]

”Not bad, not bad. Once these electromagnetic cannons are installed, combat costs can be saved.”

Jiang Chen watched with satisfaction as his buddies from the military factory upgraded the small fishing boat once again.

The ship-borne missiles from last time were powerful.

But on second thought, one missile per pirate... it still couldn’t be used frequently.

It would only be cost-effective to use them against ’valuable’ big targets.

Therefore.

Jiang Chen updated the mortars to electromagnetic cannons.

As a standard configuration on aircraft carriers, general destroyers usually didn’t have electromagnetic cannons.

However, after Jiang Chen applied to the Naval Department Base, it was quickly approved.

”The small fishing boat has earned so much merit and made so many scientific research contributions. It’s just an electromagnetic cannon—approved!”

Commander Tang Ze waved his hand.

Granted!

Since this modification and upgrade involved many aspects.

Therefore.

It took a full three days.

Before the small fishing boat was finished with its upgrades and looked brand new.

The exterior was still the same, but the internal power was already extraordinary.

Especially that sealable cockpit.

Jiang Chen was most satisfied with it.

To this end.

He even specifically wrote an autopilot model for the intelligent driving system.

In this autopilot model, there was one sudden acceleration followed by nine decelerations at different speeds.

And so it cycled...

”I’ll call you 9 Deep 1 Shallow!”

Jiang Chen named the program.

”General Manager Jiang, the small fishing boat’s update is complete.”

A researcher walked over, drenched in sweat.

Jiang Chen patted his shoulder. ”Thanks for the hard work. I’ll go for a test drive.”

Saying this, under the curious gaze of the crowd.

Jiang Chen jumped onto the small fishing boat.

[Close hatch!]

With an order.

The voice control system activated.

The convertible-like sci-fi cockpit closed quickly.

The glass was specially made; the interior couldn’t be seen from the outside, but Jiang Chen could see outside at will.

[Normal fishing boat mode!]

He issued another command.

The Xinhuo Xiangchuan Energy Device operated, and the Kuafu Chasing the Sun Propulsion System started.

The small fishing boat did a Pan Zhoudan-style drift, turned around easily, and headed out to sea.

The boat speed was extremely fast, in water-skimming mode, but it didn’t take flight.

[Flight mode!]

Jiang Chen tested again.

As soon as he spoke.

Under the astonished gazes of the people on the shore.

Mechanical wings with a total span of eight meters extended from both sides of the hull.

The boat’s speed grew faster and faster.

Aided by the wing span.

In the next second.

The small fishing boat took flight!!!
