Why Would an Aircraft Carrier Be Dispatched to Escort His Fishing Boat?

109: Chapter 109 Southern Seas, Where the Strong Possess...”Requesting us to detour?”

Aboard the Sister Li.

After Xue Yao received the information transmitted from the Shenglong Early Warning Aircraft.

She immediately grabbed the radio and gave a solemn order through the loudspeaker to the Aegis Destroyer.

[SSSSSSSSSS-level warning!]

[You have intruded into our country’s key southern waters!]

[You are limited to leaving within three seconds, otherwise you will be treated as invading another country’s waters... Time’s up, men, Level 30 combat readiness!]

[Dongfeng-21 Missile, lock onto the opponent for me!!!]

[Yes!]

The radio was quickly cut off.

Commander Fikeli was startled at first by the voice coming through the loudspeaker on the radio.

Upon hearing it was a girl’s voice, he smiled smugly: ”See, I told you it was a fake carrier group. The three major aircraft carriers of the Dragon Nation don’t have female commanders!”

But hearing the Level 30 combat readiness and the Dongfeng-21 Missile long-range ICBM, he still felt a pang of alarm in his heart.

He hurriedly commanded his subordinates: ”Radar! Radar! Anti-missile system! All enter combat readiness!”

”Yes!”

The subordinates quickly activated the anti-missile system.

Their systems were high-end weapons from the United States, sold to them at three times the price back then.

But they had still accepted it with joy.

Although it hadn’t been used until now, just having such an anti-missile system was enough to deter other countries.

Five minutes later.

A subordinate shouted in terror: ”Commander, it’s bad, it’s bad! The radar shows a missile is really flying towards us!”

”Damn it, does the Dragon Nation really dare to launch a missile?” Commander Fikeli panicked for a moment but quickly calmed down. He said, ”Don’t panic, we have an anti-missile system from the United States; it’s enough to kill the opponent back!”

After saying that.

He gave the order.

[Launch anti-missile!]

Boom.

The interface showed hundreds of missiles taking off, looking very spectacular.

Commander Fikeli was stunned by the sight.

What the hell.

Where did these hundreds of missiles come from?

They only installed fewer than 100 missiles in total, how did so many pop up?

He hurriedly took out his binoculars and looked at the sky outside.

There wasn’t a single missile.

”What’s going on!”

”Didn’t it show the missiles being launched?”

”Why isn’t there even one?”

Commander Fikeli was terrified and screamed.

And the radar showed that the missile from the south was accelerating towards him.

A terrifying sense of death instantly spread from the soles of his feet to the top of his head.

”This, this interface looks like a game screen.”

”As for the missiles... the launch bay crew said there isn’t a single missile in the silos, they don’t know where they went.”

A subordinate said, sweating profusely.

A game screen!

Holy crap.

Our country spent billions of dollars just to buy a... piece of junk!

Boom.

The Dongfeng-21 Missile descended from the sky like a Sword of Damocles.

It struck the deck of the Aegis Destroyer.

Crack.

The Aegis Destroyer was split in two on the spot, tilting and sinking.

The command room where Commander Fikeli was located happened to be at the break point.

”Holy crap, holy crap!”

”Help!”

The group of people in the command room clung tightly to the railings, with the raging seawater beneath them.

Beneath the deep blue sea, sharks seemed to be passing by.

”Big brother, I was wrong!”

”Please let us go!”

Commander Fikeli, who had been scammed by the United States, shouted into the radio with a mournful face under the threat of death.

He regretted it!

However.

The radio had already been cut off.

Xue Yao couldn’t receive it at all.

Even if she did, she would only send another missile his way based on the location.

”It’s all your fault, with your ’the Southern Sea Area only belongs to the strong’, what kind of strong person are you, you idiot.”

Several subordinates were also hanging from the railings. Seeing the hull sinking faster, they all broke down, kicking Commander Fikeli one after another.

The latter cursed a few times before sinking into the depths of the sea along with the ship.

As the Aegis Destroyer was sent to the bottom of the sea by a single shot.

The remaining destroyers instantly scattered like headless loaches.

Not far away.

The Kunlun Cruiser, Zhumu Cruiser, and Changbai Cruiser, which had rushed over, quickly led the destroyers in pursuit.

In the sky, a dozen Xiao Long Fighter Jets and Xuannü were circling and strafing.

[Charge! These are all living military merits!]

Over the radio.

The excited roars of the Gene Warriors could be heard.

99% of the captains in the Sister Li carrier group were strictly trained Gene Warriors.

Seeing so many military merits appearing ahead, they swarmed forward, fearing they would fall behind.

As for the Sister Li, which was still a hundred nautical miles away from the scene.

It was slowly making its way over.

The radar showed that the Aegis Destroyer had been hit by a single shot.

The other warships were fleeing.

Killing the enemy from a hundred miles away.

This was the power of carrier-based missiles.

The rest was left to the cruisers and warplanes.

Not far above the aircraft carrier, some media reporters were terrified after filming that missile launch.

”What’s going on? Are they launching missiles to celebrate the commissioning ceremony?”

”Where was that launched?”

”I don’t know, they didn’t say anything before the rehearsal!”

When they followed the carrier group to the Qicun Sea Area.

Only some wreckage of the Aegis Destroyer remained floating on the sea.

The remaining destroyers and frigates were all surrounded by cruisers.

Warplanes circled continuously in the sky, deterring those on deck who were surrendering.

[Reporting to the Sister Li commander, the battle ended in twenty-one minutes and nine seconds.]

[A total of over three thousand prisoners captured, over five hundred casualties.]

[Our side has 0 new deaths, total deaths 0.]

[Report complete!]

Reports from the captains came from the cruisers.

[Not bad, not bad. Clean up the battlefield, then continue heading north!]

Xue Yao gave the order.

Watching the soldiers clean up the battlefield, she sighed.

These Philippines warships are too weak.

She had already prepared to drive an assault boat and charge in with a Gatling Gun, so why was the battle over!

It seems she still needs to have a showdown with the aircraft carriers of the United States to fully display her talents.

For example.

The USS Washington.

[Report to the commander, I found Commander Fikeli’s body at sea!]

[He’s gone cold.]

Just then.

A subordinate reported excitedly over the radio.

This was the head of the enemy commander; it counted towards military merit.

Xue Yao raised an eyebrow and chuckled.

”The Southern Sea Area indeed only belongs to the strong!”

”Too bad, you are not the strong!”

Half an hour later.

The battlefield cleanup was complete.

The soldiers took over three destroyers and two frigates.

The Aegis Destroyer was scrapped; abandon salvage!

Escorting three thousand prisoners, the Sister Li carrier group continued north in an A-shaped formation.

On the helicopters, the reporters were stunned.

”A perfectly good commissioning ceremony suddenly turned into a naval battle?”

In their bewilderment, the reporters quickly snapped photos of the scene.

The wreckage of the split hull on the sea was shocking!

This is naval warfare.

It starts very quickly and suddenly.

It ends very quickly and suddenly.

As long as it’s not a battle on the same level.

Then!

It’s almost a one-sided massacre.
