Why Would an Aircraft Carrier Be Dispatched to Escort His Fishing Boat?

122: Chapter 122 Luring the Tiger Away from the Mountain, Rushing the HorseNight had fallen.

At sixty degrees south latitude, the temperature dropped lower and lower as the night went on.

Even the aircraft carrier began to slow down.

However, on the deck of the Dragon God, the JF-17 Thunder fighter jets were ready for action.

Hum!

A fighter jet shot into the sky using the electromagnetic catapult.

After breaking the sound barrier,

a cone-shaped mist appeared at its tail.

It looked as if it had traveled through time.

Hum, hum, hum!

More and more JF-17 Thunder fighter jets shot into the sky.

After twenty of them, the electromagnetic catapult system finally ceased its activity.

The remaining eighty JF-17 Thunder fighter jets remained dormant.

”Aircraft carrier, USS Constellation, location 69 degrees east longitude, north latitude... Your combat objective is to draw enemy fire and prevent the enemy from reinforcing the USS Lincoln!”

”The pilot lives with the plane!”

”Fight until the final chapter!”

Commander Li Jing issued a death order to this batch of JF-17 Thunder fighter jets.

The apparent target of this sortie was the USS Constellation, but in reality, he had been keeping his eyes on the USS Lincoln.

This was because, based on the information Jiang Chen kept sharing,

the USS Constellation was too fast, changing its position every hour, making it difficult to track.

However, the USS Lincoln was very slow and was in a semi-stationary state.

Therefore,

while he ostensibly dispatched fighters to pursue the USS Constellation, he was actually waiting for the USS Lincoln to make a move.

Once the opponent made a move, they would have fallen into his trap.

Then his own eighty fighter jets could enter the fray.

When the 20 JF-17 Thunder fighter jets flew off the aircraft carrier’s deck and headed toward the general sea area of the USS Constellation,

the hawk e-2 early warning aircraft of the USS Lincoln also detected the movement.

”Report, Commander-in-Chief, the Dragon God has dispatched one-fifth of its fighter jets and is fast approaching the direction of the USS Constellation!”

Lincoln, wearing fifty-centimeter high heels, sneered after receiving the news.

”Dispatching so many fighter jets, have they discovered the USS Constellation?”

”What a pity. The mantis stalks the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind... Someone, bring out our F35s, 20 of them, and coordinate with the F22s of the USS Constellation. We must ensure they never return!”

Lincoln gave the order.

On the USS Lincoln, 20 F35s shot into the sky.

They were preparing to completely annihilate this batch of JF-17 Thunder fighter jets attempting to break through!

”Luring the tiger away from the mountain was successful. 80 F35s against 80 JF-17 Thunder fighter jets, the enemy has no advantage!”

”Execute Plan B!”

As the 20 F35s from the USS Lincoln departed, Li Jing immediately launched the remaining 80 JF-17 Thunder fighter jets, heading straight for the USS Lincoln!

”pearl river 888 has also received this.”

Upon learning that the Dragon God had launched the attack, Jiang Chen immediately steered his small fishing boat from the western sea area toward the USS Lincoln.

Around eight o’clock in the evening,

the waves suddenly surged violently.

Seawater slammed against the hull of the USS Lincoln, creating a booming sound.

”Alarm! Alarm! Level 99 alarm!”

”Dozens of unidentified fighter jets detected heading toward our aircraft carrier fleet!”

”Ship-borne missile and electromagnetic railgun systems, activate!”

”F22 electromagnetic catapult, activate!”

As streaks of dazzling electromagnetic railgun fire shot out like thunder,

ship-borne missiles launched into the sky.

The entire night sky seemed to be illuminated.

Dozens of fighter jets also shot into the sky.

Even at night, both sides could rely on radar and night vision systems to launch attacks.

Hum! Boom!

While the Lincoln’s F35s and the JF-17 Thunder fighter jets were engaged in supersonic aerial combat,

Jiang Chen had already brought his small fishing boat very close to the USS Lincoln.

On the USS Lincoln,

inside the command room, Lincoln was scanning the radar with a furrowed brow.

According to the radar display, two strange birds had been circling overhead since the daytime.

At first, he didn’t pay much attention.

He thought they were just normal birds.

But now it was damn night, and the aircraft carrier had traveled over a dozen miles.

Yet these birds, as if nailed to the spot, had been circling above the whole time.

”Someone!”

”Shoot those two stupid birds down for me!”

With the arrival of the JF-17 Thunder fighter jets, Lincoln finally realized something was wrong.

His position was most likely exposed by these two birds.

After all, the United States had also researched bionic dolphins; these two birds might also be bionic creations.

Swish! Swish!

Two missiles launched into the sky.

Jindai Bird, seeing the situation was not right, quickly took her daughter and left the sky.

Afterward,

they landed in another location, letting the mecha continue filming the whole process.

”Well done!”

Jiang Chen observed the movements of the USS Lincoln through the mecha’s camera while watching the battle situation on the JF-17 Thunder fighter jets’ side.

Seeing that the USS Lincoln had almost dispatched all its F35s,

Jiang Chen felt the time was almost right.

So he climbed out of the cockpit and, cupping his hands, said loudly to the three Terracotta Warriors.

”Seniors!”

”Please lend me a hand!”

This time, Jiang Chen’s voice not only made General Meng Tian open his eyes,

but the curved sickle and long sword of General Bai Qi and General Li Xin also stirred.

Jiang Chen’s face brightened, and he continued.

”Ahead lies the aircraft carrier of this planet’s hegemon. They are currently besieging our Dragon Country’s aircraft carrier. I ask that you, seniors, unleash the remaining might of the Great Qin Emperor’s generals who swept across the eight wildernesses and clear the obstacles!”

”Hegemon?”

General Bai Qi was the first to snort coldly: ”With the Great Qin here, who dares to claim hegemony!”

As his voice fell,

his curved sickle flashed with seal script characters, as if it had been activated.

General Li Xin also sighed softly, his voice sounding as if it came from ancient times, carrying an elegant air of nonchalance, yet amidst that nonchalance was a touch of determination.

”The remaining might of sweeping across the eight wildernesses... Aside from me, General Li Xin, who else can fight one against a hundred?”

”That would, of course, be me, General Meng Tian.”

General Meng Tian snorted proudly.

His ancient sword was suffused with a faint halo.

”Well said!”

”Our target: take down the USS Lincoln!”

Jiang Chen drove the small fishing boat, charging straight toward the USS Lincoln.

”Alarm! Alarm! An unidentified small fishing boat is charging toward our cruiser!”

”Torpedo system is activating... Launching 10 torpedoes!”

Swish.

Under the sea,

a full 10 torpedoes cut through the water, silently charging toward the approaching small fishing boat.

However,

the small fishing boat’s anti-detection system was also very powerful.

Upon detecting the torpedoes, the system immediately reacted.

”Torpedoes detected, small fishing boat switching to flight mode!”

Whoosh!

The small fishing boat, originally lurking on the sea surface, suddenly extended its wings and glided upward, passing over the nearest destroyer.

Boom.

The torpedoes exploded, but they missed their target.

The captain of the nearest destroyer was stunned when he saw the unidentified small fishing boat actually flying.

”What the hell, what’s going on? A fishing boat that can fly?”

As the captain was dumbfounded,

the fishing boat not only flew up, but it also had an electromagnetic railgun on it, and in a diving posture, it unleashed a barrage of fire at its deck.

Boom, boom, boom!

The destroyer’s turret had just aimed at the small fishing boat when it was destroyed by a burst of electromagnetic railgun fire.

The deck was covered in large scorch marks and craters.

”It’s crazy, it’s crazy! It flies, and that’s one thing, but it’s actually equipped with an electromagnetic railgun? What kind of heartless bastard invented this kind of fishing boat?”

The captain of the destroyer, in the command room, was left with his head buzzing from the shock.

In a fit of rage, he roared into the radio.

”Robots! Send out the robots!”

”Shoot this fishing boat down for me!!!”

...

While the Dragon God and pearl river 888 were coordinating and already attacking the USS Lincoln aircraft carrier strike group,

the Ganjing Aircraft Carrier and Weisheng Aircraft Carrier, thousands of miles away, were still rushing to arrive!
