Supreme Sword God

Chapter 129: Chapter 128: Fourth-Rank Extreme Spirit Master

After killing the second-in-command of Black Wind Village, Ye Chen took the Black Wind Token away.

Killing this one alone, that’s four hundred points!

Counting the twenty-one he killed in Zhang Family Village, Ye Chen’s mission trip this time has already earned him six hundred and ten points.

Unfortunately, the three Primordial Wheel Realm fellows earlier turned to ashes under Ye Chen’s Heaven-Burning Sword, and the Black Wind Tokens, made of ordinary metal, were burned away.

A loss of thirty points!

Ye Chen muttered to himself, ”Next time I use this move to kill ordinary mountain bandits of Black Wind Village, I should control my power a bit better.”

Although he could return to the Martial Arts Academy to submit the mission now.

Ye Chen didn’t plan to leave just like that; he wanted to earn more points while executing this mission.

Besides, he felt something was off about this matter.

People from Feiyang Martial Arts Academy traveling all the way here to deal with the Black Wind Mountain Bandits?

There must be other reasons.

It’s known that although Feiyang Martial Arts Academy assigns missions to its disciples, they definitely wouldn’t assign tasks in Unparalleled County.

Moreover, considering Zeng Ming and Qin Jing’s attitude in executing tasks, using more than a hundred innocent lives as bait shows they are certainly not helping out of a sense of justice!

Zeng Ming is dead.

There are others from Feiyang Martial Arts Academy still alive.

Among them, someone must know the truth.

Moreover,

Those people cooperated with Zeng Ming earlier intending to kill Ye Chen - why should Ye Chen let them off?

If people don’t trouble me, I won’t trouble them!

If people trouble me, I will eradicate them!

......

”Boom boom boom!”

A series of dense explosion sounds rang out.

In a canyon.

Qin Jing from Feiyang Martial Arts Academy, accompanied by more than a dozen rich young men, had been following the traces left by Zeng Ming.

But they were trapped!

The traces Zeng Ming left behind were altered by the third-in-command of Black Wind Village.

Leading Qin Jing’s group into the canyon where the third-in-command had already set up an array.

Though Qin Jing and others weren’t weak, they were pampered and panicked upon encountering problems.

The array in the canyon launched several rounds of attacks.

After which, several Primordial Wheel Realm martial artists from Black Wind Village, along with a batch of Sea of Qi Realm martial artists, launched another attack.

Among the rich young men, only Qin Jing survived.

Qin Jing was kept alive intentionally by the third-in-command of Black Wind Village, meant to be traded for some cultivation resources.

At this time.

Qin Jing was bound hand and foot by chains made of special steel, carried on the shoulders of two Sea of Qi Realm bandits.

The third-in-command of Black Wind Village looked at the struggling Qin Jing and sneered, ”You’d better be obedient, otherwise, my brothers will have a hard time resisting the allure of frail beauty like you.”

Qin Jing was frightened, tears flowing endlessly.

”If you dare touch a single hair on me, our Qin Family will wipe you all out!” Qin Jing cried out.

The third-in-command of Black Wind Village snorted coldly.

In the next instant, a bandit stepped forward and slapped Qin Jing hard.

”Little girl, daring to threaten our third-in-command? You must not know what death means!” The bandit cursed, then chuckled, rough hands grabbing at Qin Jing’s body.

”Rip, rip!”

The sound of clothes tearing echoed.

The bandits exclaimed wildly.

Rough hands landed on Qin Jing’s body.

Humiliated greatly, Qin Jing screamed continuously, tears flowing relentlessly.

”Enough, play later when we’re back.” The third-in-command of Black Wind Village said indifferently.

Only then did the bandits withdraw their hands unsatisfied.

”Remember your situation, otherwise, your end will be countless times worse than death.” The third-in-command of Black Wind Village sneered, then led the group towards one end of the canyon.

”Third-in-command, why hasn’t the second-in-command returned?” a bandit asked.

They split into two groups for the mission; by the time, the second-in-command should’ve returned.

”Don’t worry, the second is more than enough to kill Zeng Ming. But Zeng Ming, being a prodigy of Feiyang Martial Arts Academy, it’s normal for it to take time dealing with him.”

”Third-in-command, someone is here!”

Suddenly, a Primordial Wheel Realm bandit exclaimed.

No reminder needed; the third-in-command of Black Wind Village had already noticed the silhouette standing at the canyon’s exit.

”Your escape skills are impressive, surviving Zeng Ming’s pursuit.” The third-in-command of Black Wind Village snorted, gesturing his men to attack.

Ye Chen stood at the canyon’s exit, gazing at the bandits inside, and said, ”Someone thinks they’re setting the stage, another plans the counter-trap, yet I’ve foreseen it all.

Zeng Ming is dead.

Your second-in-command of Black Wind Village is dead too.

Next, it’s your turn.”

Speaking, Ye Chen’s Celestial Mark Sword emitted a clear sword ring, the sword spirit seemed eager to battle alongside Ye Chen!

”Audacious talk, what makes you say such words?”

A Primordial Wheel Realm bandit roared, leaped, charging at Ye Chen, slashing from above.

Ye Chen didn’t even glance, raising his sword diagonally.

Wind and Cloud Sword, Great Wind Arise!

Gale transformed into Sword Qi, cutting through the bandit’s long knife and then split the bandit’s body into two.

”Cangxing Martial Arts Academy, Ye Chen!”

The third-in-command of Black Wind Village’s eyes gleamed, ”I knew Cangxing Martial Arts Academy would send someone, but never thought it would be you!”

He had guessed Ye Chen’s identity from the previous sword stroke.

His words startled the bandits.

Ye Chen’s fame had grown tremendously recently!

Ye Chen, wielding his sword, walked into the canyon, heading for the bandits with an overwhelming sword aura!

The bandits looked pale.

The third-in-command of Black Wind Village frowned, saying, ”I’ll suppress Ye Chen’s speed and sword aura while you attack him!”

Then the third-in-command of Black Wind Village quickly formed seals with his hands, four spiritual seal projections flew from his brow then merged!

A thick aura spread from his spiritual seal projections.

”I didn’t expect the third-in-command of Black Wind Village to be a Tier Four Extreme Spirit Master.” Ye Chen looked at the spiritual seal projection, his tone slightly more serious.

The mission scroll contained too many inaccuracies.

Ye Chen received information claiming that Black Wind Village’s second-in-command was at Peak of Yuan Wheel Realm, actually at Half-Step Primordial Embryo Realm.

Black Wind Village’s third-in-command was said to be a Tier Four Spirit Master, actually a Tier Four Extreme Spirit Master!

As for the scroll’s note of the Half-Step Primordial Embryo Realm first-in-command, his strength was far from simple; a Tier Four Extreme Spirit Master far surpasses a regular Tier Five Spirit Master, and it’s possible that someone controlling such a formidable character might even be a Mortal Transformation Realm expert!

The third-in-command of Black Wind Village snorted coldly, ”Knowing now is too late; killing a genius like you is really thrilling!”

Ye Chen’s sword essence surged into the Celestial Mark Sword, and he showed no fear; instead, under the Tier Four Extreme Spirit Master’s pressure, his Invincible Sword momentum grew even stronger!

”I’ve not killed an Extreme Spirit Master before; you’ll be the first.” Ye Chen said, as his voice fell, his figure vanished from the spot, then reappeared before the third-in-command of Black Wind Village, with a sword striking down, the sword light expansive and mighty!
