Blood Awakening: The Strongest Hybrid and His Vampire Bride

Chapter 561: Date with a Pretty Nekomata [2]

’Never underestimate a woman’s thirst for shopping...’

Nikolai swore to himself while drinking his cold brew coffee at the rest stop in the department store. He watched the excited Risa ordering the staff members of the delivery service, while packing the dozen bags filled with designer items.

”She looks so cute when smiling.”

Sip.

There was no reason to be upset.

As he sipped his coffee, he ignored the world other than Risa, her smiles, and the way her lips curled and twisted when handing over the items she bought. Or how he could imagine her tail drooping when handing the gifts he bought to them.

’To think she’d ask for a ring...’

He thought back to the situation earlier.

Although the clan helped find decent rings that substituted as storage spaces, Risa’s biggest smile came when they passed a respected jewellery store, and he noticed a set that matched her eyes.

”This reminds me of your eyes, when you look up at me in the morning.”

His words were honest and nothing fancy, just a simple truth. Yet, something must have triggered Risa as she suddenly kissed him passionately enough for the staff members to ask them to stop with flushed faces.

When they parted, she whispered something in his ear that momentarily stunned him.

”You just look forward to tonight, big boy. I’m going to do eeeeverything~ you want.”

The way she stroked his crotch and pulled away without the staff members noticing made Nikolai’s heart race.

”D-a-r-l-i-n-g~”

Suddenly, he snapped out of the recollection, with two smooth hands covering his eyes, the scent of Risa’s perfume, a soft, fruity scent that lingered in the air and on the skin once it settled. One of his favourites after her natural scent.

’She’s really excited...’

”Did you have fun sending the shopping back?”

”Yeah~ the staff members and maids are so efficient, ehehe.” She beamed. ”Wha’chu drinking?” Risa took the half-empty cup and downed it. Instantly, she clenched her eyes shut and stuck out her tongue, the bitter scent of coffee coming from her mouth as she gasped for air as if dying.

However, she drank again, this time emptying the cup.

With her cheeks puffed out, she glanced at Nikolai with tearful eyes.

”You know I drink without milk and cream, silly. Spit it out.”

”Nnnf!”

She shook her head before leaning over the bench and grabbing his cheeks.

Nikolai closed his eyes with a faint smirk because he’d noticed Risa really enjoyed these strange, random kisses recently. Such that the moment their lips touched... the warm taste of her spitting his coffee down his throat with her tongue was quite pleasant.

”Mmmmn.”

Gulp...

He couldn’t help but swallow the coffee and her spit; the sweet taste of Risa’s drool added a kind of flavour.

The moment their tongues touched, the lovely nekomata’s body shook, her nose snorted as the warmth of her breath blew down his cheeks. ’She never changes.’ No matter how many times they kissed, she never seemed to learn, or maybe the feeling of losing her breath was something Risa enjoyed.

Shlurp...

Their lips parted with a thick bridge of saliva drooping down.

Nikolai glanced back, the position a little awkward as he was looking over his shoulder, but Risa leaned forward enough that her chin touched it. He observed her while watching her plump lips sucking on the spit thread, as he had earlier.

”Mm, that was really good.”

”Even though you hate bitter food and drink?”

Her eyes looked glazed over, as if she were half dreaming or on drugs.

”Nn~ especially, because it had your taste, ehehe.”

He didn’t want her to struggle, so he lifted her over the back of the bench and placed her on his lap. Risa’s eyes opened wide, as if shocked. But then extended her hands to his cheeks and just giggled.

”I never thought it’d be this good.” She purred in his lap. ”To have a date like this.”

”Well, me either... but that’s cause all we did in the past was go to hotels and fuck, right?”

Risa’s eyes narrowed into slits as she smiled; the perpetrator of that was the cute cat currently enjoying his affection. There was no sign of repentance in her eyes; she just rubbed against him and acted oblivious and cute.

’Damn...’

Nikolai knew he couldn’t win this.

Risa was his type; from the moment he met her, she ignited something in him that no other woman did. It was the strange attraction of two beasts that loved to have fun, to fight and shared an extreme compatibility in bed.

”It was nice to know we are compatible in other places, though.” He smiled, glancing at the emerald ring and earrings he got for her.

”I’m glad we came before doing anything. It felt so fresh, nyahaha.”

”Yeah, spending time with you is always fun though.”

”Hmph~ pervert.”

He glanced at the department store clock; despite starting later than he hoped, the time was just before dinner. The sun started lowering beyond the horizon because it was winter, and the nights were much shorter. ”Shall we watch a movie after a light dinner?”

She rolled the back of her head against his palm and nodded. ”Okay, that sounds good. I want to eat fish!”

”Right, right. I already booked the place you mentioned.”

”Place I mentioned?” She looked utterly confused and tilted her head.

Nikolai just chuckled and then took out his phone and showed her the place, and her eyes widened.

She looked at him, then back at the booking. ”Nikolai, you booked this place?”

”Of course, look, our table is in the VIP section, and I ordered all the dishes you like most.” He didn’t know why she reacted so strangely. Her face became calm, and she spoke with her low, serious tone.

”How did you know... I’ve only mentioned this place once.” It was as if she was shocked, her eyes looked pretty, like jewels, as she clung to his chest. ”I really... only mentioned this once as a joke. But you remembered that?”

Sniffle...

”H-Hey, don’t cry...”

Tears suddenly brimmed in her eyes and dripped down her cheeks as she buried her face in his chest. ”S-stupid, how could you remember this. What am I going to do with you? How can you be so sweet to me... all I do is mess around and cause trouble!”

’Eh?’

Risa looked up at him with red, puffy eyes. Her makeup survived, thankfully, but the affectionate gaze was so striking that he lost his breath.

”Really, you... I can’t help but love you. Idiot!”

She kissed him.

It wasn’t the erotic or passionate kiss from earlier; their lips just pressed together, almost crushing each other, as she clung to his back.

They remained still in that position for ten minutes, as he enjoyed her warmth blowing down his cheeks. She finally pulled back, with a shy and innocent expression.

’To see a new side of my wife, this is quite the success.’

Nikolai just smiled at her with a soft and calm expression. ”Shall we go eat?”

”Nn.”

From that moment, Risa became like a bee chasing honey, sticking to him closely, listening intently, and she stopped playing tricks. In the end, she couldn’t eat everything, and so they paid for an expensive VIP card that meant she could come back once a month with the other wives without paying for the following year.

They held hands walking in the dark streets, their path illuminated by the surrounding lights, as their next destination wasn’t far from the department store.

”Hmm~ hm~ hmmm~” Risa hummed to herself while squeezing Nikolai’s fingers.

’I’m glad this worked out.’

Nikolai wasn’t some magical date master, and dealing with women was difficult, too. He originally asked Dimitri and his father Ivan for tips, but chose instead to follow his own feelings. To do what he wanted, with the women he loved.

Although some of them might enjoy different things... Risa was like him.

”Good evening again, how may I help you both tonight?”

”Two tickets for Movie A.”

They both blurted out the same thing at the ticket booth.

”Understood, they will be 32$, will it be cash, card or...”

Nikolai swiped his phone to pay.

Risa enjoyed collecting the little stamps and small tickets, so he didn’t buy it digitally. This was something he only noticed a short while ago, when in her room, there were bills from when they drank or ate together and the movie tickets when they went to the cinema from time to time.

”Thank you very much, and please enjoy the movie. For any snacks or drinks the purchase counter is straight ahead.”

The two came to this place often, sometimes with other women, or Risa with the other wives, and so the attendant recognised them.

Clack!

After buying a large sweetened popcorn and nachos with cheese, and two extra-large colas. The pair entered the auditorium. This cinema was great because paying extra for a couple’s seat meant they didn’t need to worry about the movie being ruined.

”Phew...”

Nikolai sat with his legs spread in the large seat... he glanced around and found it to be quite empty. He glanced at Risa, who put the snacks on the seat beside her, then unzipped her jacket, and lifted the barrier between them.

”What are you up to?” He asked.

She just winked at him with a wolfish smile.

Risa unzipped his pants with a swift motion. His cock suddenly flopped out of his boxers, and she lowered her face while slithering her tongue across her lips. Her face came so close that the heat from her lips swept over the tip.

Fwooo~ The nekomata puckered her lips and blew on it.

”Wow it’s already grown so huge, kekeke...”

Then parted her moist lips, coated in spit and mumbled her answer as her tongue extended and slid across his swollen head.

”R-e-w-a-r-d~”
