Blood Awakening: The Strongest Hybrid and His Vampire Bride

Chapter 540: The Council of Wives

”If you’ve not heard, our beloved husband is currently fighting monsters with Leona.”

Selene’s voice filled the large room covered in monitors and computers, various maids rapidly typing and shifting between CCTV cameras in the city while following his movements and location.

From the moment he sat in the VIP room to the fight in the Fenrir territory, it replayed on a huge square monitor dangling in the centre of a massive round desk.

”Wow, our baby is so fucking strong.” Risa twirled her drink while wearing a loose pair of nightwear, one of Nikolai’s t-shirts and his boxers.

”He’s really adept in making us both worried and in awe at the same time.” Kumiko wore a blue kimono as she curled up on her large chair.

The women who sat in the seats were the six Lunas and their current vampire brides. Clara dozed off on a small sofa in the back of the room, while Anya, in her fluffy bunny pyjamas, sat beside Lunaria.

Clack!

”Well, as much as I want to brag about the father of my children, can we be real here?”

All the women suddenly turned to the door.

Nikita wore a light robe, her neck and chest full of red marks and Nikolai’s bites. She didn’t hide her recent sexual activity and instead honed her feminine charms. ”Are we all really happy with him going out and not taking enough protection?”

She glanced at the other women one by one.

Somehow, after she became a mother, her height only grew a few centimetres, but her aura and power seemed to have tripled. This bonus grew each time Nikolai embraced her, as if they were sharing their blood and power.

Thanks to that, both of them gained a boost in strength.

Her eyes flicked to the previous video of him drinking with Alexei and Ryan at the beach with a smile on his face as they tapped the cheap beer bottles together.

”Well, he does look cute smiling like that...”

”Nikita... although I agree.”

Nikita cut in on Selene with a sharp tone.

”What, Selene?”

Her low tone resembled a husky growl as she sat in the head seat opposite Selene, her sharp golden eyes narrowed into slits.

”Ugh...”

’When did she become so aggressive and strong!?’

Selene’s two hearts pumped faster the moment she appeared. Because of how werewolves changed during and after pregnancy, she tried to hold back. The fear of a female werewolf in frenzy terrified vampires.

”Isn’t it fine for him to enjoy himself from time to time?”

”Yeah, Nikita... we can’t keep him trapped in the mansion forever.” Anya added to support her sister.

Nikita didn’t reply immediately. She slowly shifted her hips and adjusted herself until appearing comfortable, then tapped the desk. ”Tonight, if the elders of the Nosferatu attacked, along with the bone saints and their hidden forces...” She glanced up at Selene with a ferocious glare. ”Our husband would have died.”

”What do you mean?” Amphitrite finally joined the conversation.

The mermaid’s eyes shifted across the other women, who avoided her gaze awkwardly, before reaching back to Nikita.

”Have we not been researching their strength in secret. All so we could support him as his wives for the past three months?” Nikita’s words caused the women to look away with awkward expressions, then back to the image.

Nikolai destroyed a group of mature vampires from a lesser clan before an elder stood across from him with a tattooed face.

”We are lucky that they don’t have the full information from the Londis arena matches thanks to the SSS, Father Ivan and our Dad’s helping.”

”You’re right...” Kumiko sipped her healthy green tea and nodded.

Nikita nodded at the kitsune with a smile, exposing her fangs.

”That’s why I like you, Kumi.” Nikita swiped the air, and the screen changed from their husband to the others.

Both Ryan and Alexei fought against similar enemies to Nikolai, but struggled a great deal. ”Can you see the difference in power? If the Nosferatu knew our husband reached the rank of Great Elder. Do you think they’d send this riff raff to hunt him?”

”...”

”Well...”

Lunaria and Amphitrite didn’t answer back because they agreed with Nikita, and could only swallow their words.

”However.” Nikita continued. ”I am aware of the hard work you’ve done to keep him safe and ensure that four groups of combat maids linger around him. So thank you Selene.”

Selene swallowed as the pain in her throat faded. ”What should we do, Sister Nikita?”

The women all shifted their gazes between the first two women who won Nikolai’s heart. Each of them knew that although he treated everyone fairly. Nikita, who gave him his first child, and Selene, one of his first lovers, held a special place in his heart.

Lunaria also understood, despite being his first love, that Selene had taken her spot.

”Changing our husband is not something we can do. Nor do I want to change the man who makes my heart race even watching him through a screen.” Nikita curled her lips into a cute but devilish smile. ”The ones who need to change are us and the maids.”

”What do you mean!?” Selene slammed the desk.

”Are we really that bad, Sister Nikita?” Kumiko also seemed confused.

However, Clara, who reached the table at some point, smiled brightly, then sat beside Nikita.

”I will follow sister Nikita.”

”You sneaky fairy, did you already know this?”

”Mhm~ of course, my dear husband is everything to me.”

Nikita took a small book from her cleavage, the surface shiny and black with a golden title.

[Fenrir Clan - Secret Arts]

”This book, is something that explains how to use our Great Golden Body technique.”

”What!?”

Selene gasped because the secret techniques of clans were the source of their power. A person couldn’t use the blood art with just the method, but... she felt something dangerous. ’Why is she speaking about this now?’ At first, it made no sense until Nikita once again lifted her right hand and cut it with a knife.

”Sister what are you doing!?”

”Nikita?”

”H-How are you doing that!?”

Lunaria and Selene’s eyes opened wide as the blood didn’t fall, drip or leak but instead hovered around Nikita’s palm, with half of it turning into gentle embers and the other froze, becoming sharp, bloody ice.

”You can see what this is right? Although weak now...” Nikita flicked her fingers and then snapped them.

The bloody fire and ice shot at Selene.

She waved her hand as a blood flame enveloped and destroyed the small beads.

”Nikita! Explain how a werewolf of the Fenrir clan can use the TEPES blood arts!” Lunaria and Selene stood from their seats.

However, it was Anya who spoke, standing up and pointing to her sisters.

”Sisters... don’t blame Sister Kita.”

She then took a deep breath and bit her fingertip using her vampire fangs... and the blood, like Nikita, performed the blood art of Tepes, which she couldn’t use at birth. Then she closed her eyes, and it changed form...

”Wait, is that...”

Kumiko’s golden eyes shimmered as she nodded with a hum. ”That’s Nikolai’s and Father Ivan’s Blood Art, right?”

Nikolai and Ivan’s special flame wasn’t part of the Volkov clan, but instead an ability they created through sheer genius and condensed their celestial aura to the limit. But Anya was a vampire, even if she gained hybrid powers.

This change was something beyond their imaginations.

”Sorry, Sister Nikita.” Anya sat down with a bow.

”Do you see now, this is our husbands TRUE power... the gift he’s given us is more than we can imagine.”

Selene’s eyes flicked between each woman, she considered their powers, abilities and weaknesses, but with this. ’If we can learn each other’s blood arts... all of us will become strong enough to fight beside him!’

”I admit defeated.” Selene raised her hands. ”Amazing, how did you figure this out?”

Nikita’s mature face suddenly froze, and her cheeks became bright red. ”Ah...”

The way she turned away and became coy suddenly made Selene’s stomach hurt. She used to fight tooth and claw with Nikita, but after becoming women and mothers, their hatred became respect and a more civilised rivalry.

”Well... when we were having sex.” Nikita coughed and looked at Kumiko. ”I was able to... change the shape of my insides... using Kumiko’s ability somehow.”

”Ahem... what?” Even Selene blushed as she asked the question.

Kumiko flapped her fan and chuckled, ”Oh my... you’ve discovered my trick.” She then stopped her laughter and stood up. ”Ladies, how do you think I manged to make our beloved so happy?” She then snapped her fingers, and three clones appeared: one with thick thighs, one with a slender figure, and the last was short, but her lips were thick.

”I’ve used this ability to learn, study, transform and create six unique women that each appealed to our beloved husband in various ways.”

”Damn she’s good.” Amphitrite hit the table and began laughing.

”So... you’re telling me the shape and even the size?” Lunaria asked with a curious tone.

The kitsune shrugged her shoulders and began to divulge her secrets. The shock caused Selene and the others to blush like maidens. Amphitrite took the most interest in the ability to lengthen the vaginal canal. ”Sometimes our darling likes to fuck half transformed, but his thing hurts... because it’s massive in that form.”

”Oh my god!” Selene covered her face. The woman, who only had sex in normal or vanilla situations, became overwhelmed by Amphitrite, Kumiko and Nikita’s conversation. ”Okay! Okay!” She slammed the desk. ”Let’s speak about strength, not just sex.”

”Hahaha, Sister Selene is bright red.” Anya mocked.

”Shut up bimbo!”

”!!!”

As the girls began to bicker and fight, Lunaria, Amphitrite, and Clara began to write their secret techniques, how it felt when using them and how they triggered the blood arts. They also had the question of HOW they can use each other’s techniques.

But Nikita had that answer.

”As for how this happened... I asked Sasha. She claimed that when we sleep with our husband, his special blood, which can copy and replicate any blood or fluid perfectly. It seems to be purifying and improving our blood each time he... finishes inside us.”

”So... our blood is now different from other family members?”

”Yes, because our blood is one hundred percent pure. If we did a purity test, we’d likely be infinitely close to our progenitors now.” Nikita finished and looked at Selene.

”I cannot lead us like you, so please, Selene. With this information, help us become stronger enough to support him.”

To receive an earnest request, Selene could only nod.

”I promise to do my best. Nikita!”
