Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

From MC’s Perspective:

“The Kaiden Pet Centre is under the control of the Anderson Family Descendants. So when the True Elements Society Wizards came for investigation.”

“They were all defeated and subdued. I don’t know what happened after that,” The assistant said.

Hearing that I felt more headache. If people are not alive, how can you rescue them? Besides, my task was to gather intel. It’s not about the rescue.

But I couldn’t help but think about something.

I looked at the assistant and asked, “Do you know anyone by the name of Cory Anderson?”

The Assistant was even more shocked this time. He couldn’t help but wonder how the person in front of him knew secret information.

Even among their circles. It’s not something to be discussed in public.

“What are you thinking?” I asked.

“Our Family Head’s daughter is Cory Anderson. Her existence is secret. Not many know about her outside the family circle.”

“I was able to hear because of the Manager’s mumbling sometimes,” the Assistant replied.

“Manager?” I uttered while looking at the splattered blood.

“Is the Manager an important person?” I asked.

“Yes, he is a relative of one of the Head’s wives,” the Assistant replied.

“No wonder,” I thought.

I had killed a big fish. But if his death was known, this might alarm the city. I don’t know how seriously people will take his death.

“Alright, do you have any idea? Where do the descendants spend their time mostly,” I asked. Because I can see that the assistant is nearing his life’s end.

He won’t be able to stick for a long time without treatment. But I have no intention of saving him.

The Assistant is feeling that he is reaching his end. But he still obediently replies, “There are several clubs in our city. Usually, wealthy wizards visit our premium clubs. Where everyone goes there to make connections.”

“But Outsiders are not allowed. You need an ID to enter that place,”he added.

I didn’t get worried. I can infiltrate the place and then hide inside the Gregor Mansion. Next, we have to decide whether to continue with the mission or not.

I turned around and deactivated the device. The Assistant still has lingering hopes. He truly doesn’t have thoughts about revenge.

“Well, thank you for your cooperation. I’ll send you to the afterlife,” I said before casting a magic spell.

“Gravity Spell”

A grey colour magic spell attack shot at him. Under the disbelief eyes of the assistant. The spell attack struck him.

Pfff!

The Assistant’s body was smothered into pieces. The Hall was dyed in blood red colour again.

“Phew,” I heaved a sigh of relief.

I thought this mission would take a long time. Fortunately, I came across these two people. But the nauseating blood smell attacked my nostrils.

At this time, I made some serious decisions. I have decided to use Zero Puppet in the Gregor Mansion. If there was any danger from the puppet, the system would warn me.

So I can use the puppet as my aid here. Then I retrieved the Zero Puppet from the system space. A human Puppet stood before me.

I placed the mana stones in its core and activated it.

Wizz!

The next second, the puppet came back to life.

“Master,” Zero greeted.

“Zero, you will be looking after this place. I’m doing an investigation mission. From time to time I’ll send people for you to interrogate.”

“I want you to make detailed reports of these interrogations later,” I said.

“I’ll accept the order master,” the Puppet’s blue light flickers.

“Good, then I’ll be leaving. Clean this place,” After saying that I appeared back at the alley.

Zero Puppet then started cleaning the hall.

Outside,

I saw that no one was there in the alley. So I decisively left the place. On the way, I couldn’t help but ponder. I’m not using the full function of the Zero puppet.

The Star Inheritance is no way less than that of the Late Gravity Ancestor’s inheritance. The Zero puppet is capable of handling some important tasks.

So, I have decided to capture an Anderson Family descendant to test its interrogation functions. Then I started gathering news about these clubs.

I even spotted two or more clubs on the way. But I don’t think those were premium clubs. Because these places appear to be crowded.

One hour later,

I didn’t find any suitable clubs. The clubs told by the locals are not premium places. More than that I wasn’t able to ask where the Anderson Family people go for clubbing.

So, I decided to continue the mission the next morning.

Shortly afterwards,

Then I found another alley to appear inside the Gregor Mansion. When I appeared I found the Zero Puppet standing in the middle of the hall like a statue.

But the hall looks neat and clean. Not a single blood drop can be seen in the hall. I think I have made a level-7 Puppet to clean this place. My mouth curves into an arc.

“Zero,” I called out.

Puppet’s blue light flickers. It then recognised the master in front of it.

“Master, I have completed the task,” the puppet replied.

“Good; if your core runs out of mana, you can stay in the same place. I’ll use the mana stone when needed to activate you,” the puppet added.

“Okay, master,” Zero Puppet replied.

Then I nodded at it before going to bed.

The Zero Puppet then returns to the previous spot to stand.

A few hours later,

The Manager’s Family started to think about his whereabouts. They know that the Manager was not someone who spends all of his time in Kaiden Spa.

Even if there is a special reason, he would inform his family. But this time the Manager is not responding to their calls or messages.

After waiting for some time, they called the Kaiden Spa directly. One of the staff working night shifts attended the call. He then told the family that the Manager had left the Kaiden Spa building several hours ago.
