Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

True Elements Society:

In the morning, elder Stella tried to contact the Head of the Organisation. But there was no response from him. It’s either just the Head is in seclusion or else he has gone somewhere.

But she urgently needs to make decisions. She can’t keep the criminal in the cell forever. She doesn’t know whether the Transmutation Society is aware of his location

If it is, then it might cause problems later. The Wizards from the Transmutation Society might come here in search of the criminal.

At the same time, she is hesitating whether to inform the council elders or not. Because the council elders were divided. She fears people could use this opportunity to stir up trouble.

Already, someone has spread the rumour earlier. It could have caused a life-threatening situation for Vincent Carey. She doesn’t want to involve that kid any further.

That kid had played a great role in finding the killer. He was lucky enough to escape from death. But it can’t be said to repeat the next time.

So, she feels it’s not good to inform the council elders. If anyone leaks the information, then it would be troublesome.

After weighing several options, she decides to wait for a few more days. Before that, she sent a report to the Head of the Organisation.

After doing that she returns to the Intelligence Tower.

Meanwhile,

The Beast Taming Department’s Council Elder Milo is busy. He has been frantically trying to get the news from the Verdant City Administration.

But they have rejected his request. Not only that, he can’t even go to the Verdant City directly. At first, he thought something was wrong. Explore more stories with empire

Later, he heard the same thing from Aaron Perry. Aaron Perry was not allowed to enter the Verdant City as well. This situation caused both of them to dig deeper. Then they found out that not only then but also other elders were restricted as well.

Only people from the Intelligence Tower can visit the Verdant City until the killers get caught.

After knowing that Milo’s face changes drastically. He was the one who made the rumours spread. But so far he has yet to see any response.

There is no sign of the killer who is a Transmutation Wizard. On the other hand, there is no sign of Vincent Carey leaving the Special Mage Department.

He got news from his people that they had seen Vincent going to the Floating Building. He also has people monitoring the Teleportation Platforms.

No one has seen him there as well. So Milo was confused right now. The Clonius Family had asked him to deal with this. So he can’t go back to them, asking for further help.

It would be so embarrassing for him. Then he thought of the Perry Family. The Perry Family wants Vincent Carey dead as well.

So he decides to see whether Aaron Perry can help.

…

From MC’s Perspective:

The Travel Notes of Edwin is something. He talked about the Powerful Wizard Clans in the Ancient Redwood Country. I thought I was already dealing with the most powerful people.

But it appears that the Wizard Families outside of the True Elements Society territory were strong as well. The Clonius Family and Perry Family’s base is located in the cities under the True Elements Society.

The Verdant City is the smallest among them.

But those Wizard Families outside of the True Elements Society are similar to Wizard Organisation. They can rival any top organisation in the Ancient Redwood Country.

I was not surprised. Before coming to the Ancient Redwood Country, I read these details back in the Yellow River Academy’s library as well.

It’s just that the Travel Notes of Edwin were detailed. I’m getting a feeling even after reaching Magic Level 10. There would be challenges ahead.

Time passed,

When it was evening time. I decided to leave. I stood up and placed the book back on the rack before leaving the section.

“You are leaving,” the Librarian asked.

“Yes,” I replied.

Then she taps the blue screen again to do something.

Then she said, “You can come anytime you want. I have authorised your ID.”

Hearing that my eyes lit with surprise. I thanked her before leaving the library. When I returned to the ground floor. I started walking towards Elder Paul Lin’s office.

I don’t know whether Elder Stella has given the rewards. I hope she gives me the credit points.

When I got there. As usual, the room was open. I walked inside. Elder Paul is smiling at me.

“You came at the right time. Elder Stella contacted me. She has not decided upon the rewards. So she has asked me, Paul Lin said.

I sat on the seat opposite to him.

“Oh,” I uttered in surprise. If she hadn’t decided then I can ask for the credit points. Which is practical to me.

“Elder, then can you ask her to give me credit points,” I replied.

Paul Lin was surprised. Then he realised Vincent must be asking for the Mana Chamber Facility.

“Vincent, I think you should wait for a while,” Paul Lin said.

“Hmmm,” I raised my eyebrows in surprise.

Looking at Vincent’s confusion, he decides to clarify.

“You can earn credit points by doing missions. But don’t you forget that the Intelligence Department is one of the Mage Departments as well.”

“They have a treasury as well. You can ask her to select one of the treasures from their treasury,” Paul Lin said.

Hearing that, I felt something click in my mind.

“Didn’t I get the treasure from him to update my talent?” I thought. Then it’s a really good idea to check the treasury of other Mage Departments.

Elder Paul Lin finally gave me a good idea.

“Okay, I’ll select a suitable treasure,” I replied.

“Alright, I’ll inform her then. Maybe you will be called upon the next morning,” Paul said.

“Okay, then I’ll be leaving,” After saying that I stood up to leave.

When he was gone. Paul Lin contacted Elder Stella to tell her.

A 10 minutes later,

I returned to my dorm building. Before I could enter inside.

[Ding! Malicious Intent is detected]

A mechanical voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that I paused my footsteps and looked in that direction.

I spotted a few wizards looking at me. Then my gaze fell on their badges.

“Beast Tamers,” I said in my heart.

They are wearing the same badge as those three guys. I can understand why they are here. Maybe Elder Stella is yet to reveal the news about the capture of the Transmutation Wizard.

After glancing at them, I turned around to walk inside the building.

On the other hand, the Wizards from the Beast Taming Department decide to return as well. They were here to see him whether he was going outside or not.

Now that they have seen him. They are going back.

Shortly afterwards,

Inside the Beast Taming Department, Gordon is chatting with his friends Don and Ema. Issac was not here.

While they were talking and laughing. Gordon receives a message. After reading it, his eyes turned cold.

Don and Emma notice his expression.

“What happened?” Don asked.

“Vincent Carey was seen going back to his dorm. He is not going out for the mission,” Gordon said in a solemn tone.

“Elder Jordan told us that Council Elder Milo had his plans. We don’t have to be involved in this anymore,” Ema said.

“I know. But what to do with the humiliation he caused to us,” Gordon said in a cold tone.

He never had faced such a treatment before. Especially from the wizards of the other Magic Departments. Either people are afraid of the Beast Taming Department or Aristocratic Families.

They don’t dare to mess with him. But Vincent Carey has done this to him. He wants to pay back. So he didn’t care about the elders’ plans.

Ema and Don exchanged looks. Their eyes flash with worry. They have already escaped from danger. They both don’t want Gordon to drag them to the deep pit again.

At this time, they couldn’t help but think of Issac. Issac has cleverly left them. But both Don and Ema realised that Issac must have predicted this before.

Just as Gordon is contemplating. He receives a sudden call. It was someone from the Bloodline Beast Department.

He has some aristocratic friends studying there as well. So he attends the call.

Don and Ema turned towards him. They were worried that someone had said something bad again.

“Are you serious?” Gordon asked.

Don and Ema looked at each other. They saw Gordon’s mood turn better. He’s not angry anymore.

“Alright, we will meet tomorrow,” After saying that he ended the call.

“What is it again?” Ema asked.

Gordon smiled and said, “It’s good news. Someone from the Bloodline Beast Department wants to join hands with us to deal with Vincent Carey.”

“What?” Don uttered in surprise.

“Weren’t the Perry Family members were after him as well?” Ema asked.

“I’m hoping it’s them. But my friend didn’t reveal the identity. He wants us to go with him tomorrow,” Gordon replied.

But Don and Ema stayed silent.
