Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

From MC’s Perspective:

Supreme Wizard Phylia comes out of her lab and arrives at her meeting hall. She sat on the main seat before asking Paul Lin to come.

Shortly afterwards,

Paul Lin enters the Main Hall. After seeing the frowning expression of Elder Phylia. His heart skips a beat.

“Elder, please look at this,” After saying that, he takes out the Crystal Ball and activates it.

The footage starts to play out.

Phylia raised her eyebrows in surprise. Her vision was sharp. She immediately recognised the images in the footage.

“That kid, what is happening to him?” She thought.

Then she continues to watch the video.

A few minutes later,

Her expression turned solemn. She saw through everything. She knows that Aristocratic Families were always scheming and trying to take more resources from the True Elements Society.

But she didn’t expect to find something new.

“A decade-old plan. What’s that about?” She asked herself.

“Elder I think that Aristocratic Family Wizards are trying to take over the True Elements Society. We have always known about their intentions.”

“But this time I think they are planning something serious,” He added.

A quick gleam flashes in Phylia’s eyes.

“We can show it to the Head of the Organisation later. But I think you have something more to tell,” She asked.

Paul Lin nodded his head before replying, “The Beast Taming Department Council Elder has called for a meeting. They don’t know that I have this recording with me.”

“Hmm,” Phylia began to ponder.

She thinks that it’s not easy to accuse them. If they poke the hornet’s nest, things might go ugly. She doesn’t want to confront them without finding out their plan.

Because there were Supreme Wizards who supported the Aristocratic Families as well. So without proper planning, it’s not wise to confront them. Otherwise, the internal conflicts would be severe.

It won’t be long before other Wizard Organisations take notice.

“Elder Paul, give this crystal ball to me. I’ll give it to the Head later. When it comes to the council elders meeting. Don’t worry about it.”

“You were on the scene. Tell them you are following the duo to see who’s causing problems and accuse the Beast Taming Department instead,” She said.

Hearing that Paul Lin’s eyes lit. He can tell that Elder Phylia wants him to use the same tactics as the Beast Taming Department.

Then he handed over the Crystal Ball to the Supreme Wizard Phylia.

Then they discussed other topics for a few minutes before Paul Lin left the place.

After returning to the Floating Building, Elder Paul Lin filed a complaint to the Department of Law and Order. He knows it’s better to tell them instead of calling up for the Council Elders meeting.

There are terrific wizards in the Intelligence Department who can use their magic to tell whether anyone is telling the truth or not.

After filing a complaint, he informed the Head of the Intelligence Tower, Stella, as well.

One hour later,

Inside the mana chamber, I opened my eyes after ending the meditation. Feeling the changes inside the body. My eyes flash with a surprise.

With a thought, a status panel appears in front of me.

Looking at the stats, my mouth curves into an arc. The Talent “Elite Bottom” started showing the effects. All the stats have increased by 6 points. Previously, it was 3 points.

My talent was improved from Top Bottom to Elite Bottom earlier. So the practice speed was faster than before. The Core progress increased by 3 points.

But it’s taking a lot of days. I can only figure out the pattern slowly. After dismissing the start panel, I stood up and went to the console panel to turn off the mana chamber.

The pure mana decreases in the blink of an eye. Then, I walked out of the Mana Chamber and decided to return to the dorm.

Not long after, reaching the first floor. I realized Elder Paul had asked me to visit him. Then I turned around and started walking towards his office.

It’s already late at night; I wonder what’s going on. He won’t ask me to come without any reason.

When I got there. I walked into the office. I saw him sitting behind the desk. I nodded to him before taking the seat.

“You must be curious. Why have I asked you to come?” Paul Lin asked.

“Yes,” I replied. I felt no mana coming from him. But when I recall his punch hitting the face of Elder Jordan. I guess he must have used his brute strength.

Paul Lin said, “Elder Stella and I had a discussion. She assigned a special task to the Special Mage Department. It’s about assisting the Intelligence Dept to find the Transmutation Wizard.”

“And she wants you to take the task,” He added.

My eyes flash with a glint. I don’t want to come across the Sick Wizard again. His magic is weird. He has foreign implanted organs in his body.

If anything happens to me, I doubt anyone in this Organization can help me. Because the Transmutation Study is rare. It’s not taught in all Wizard organizations.

More than that, I fear a confrontation could happen. Such a situation could force me to use my full strength. I had survived the Yellow River Academy without exposing my real strength.

Here, it’s different. Even among the locals, there are many high-level wizards. There are no regular humans. Every newborn kid has a talent for magic.

Paul Lin saw that Vincent was hesitating for some reason.

He asked, “What happened?”

Hearing that I looked at him and said, “He is dangerous. If he knows that I was the one who stole his research item. He won’t leave me alone.”

Paul Lin pondered. He didn’t find any falsehood. But Elder Stella offered to give a reward. And the reward must be expensive and important.

“Vincent, I know there is a risk. But Elder Stella promised to give a reward. And you don’t have to confront the Killer. You just have to assist them from behind. “

“Just give them clues if you find anything. Even if you don’t find anything in the end, it’s okay. But it’s important to have connections in the True Elements Society.”

“Elder Stella is not an ordinary elder. She is also one of the Council Elders. If you get on her good side, she might help you in difficult times.”

“Besides, you don’t know one thing. After you left…,” He then starts to explain above the council elders meeting.

A few minutes later,

My heart boils in anger. I didn’t expect someone to take advantage of the situation. The Beast Taming Department’s Council Elder has called for a meeting. Yet they were on the wrong side.

Now, I understand Elder Paul’s words. It’s necessary to have connections here. After giving it a thought for a moment, I agreed to take on this special task.

“Alright, elder. I will accept the task. But I will back out if there is any danger,” I said to him.

“Good, I will inform Elder Stella. I think she will support us during the Council meeting,” Elder Paul said.

Then I nodded to him before leaving the office.

A few minutes later,

I arrived at the dorm building. But my mind is on a special task. I don’t know whether the Transmutation Wizard is still lurking in the Verdant City.

“I have to go there again,” Shaking my head.

Then I returned to the room and went to take a bath.

Meanwhile,

Elder Stella received information from the Elder Paul Lin. Seeing that the fresher has accepted the Special Task. Her eyes flash with a surprise.

She expected that Kid would be afraid. But to her surprise, Vincent Carey has accepted the task. She knows that the Transmutation Wizard is dangerous.

If he knows that the kid is the one who stole the items, he might kill that kid. Her eyes flickered. She wants to use Vincent Carey as bait to lure out the Transmutation Wizard. In this dire situation, she can only think of this move.

“Since he has accepted the task. It’s time to spread the message secretly,” She said to herself.
