Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

From MC’s Perspective:

Inside the basement, the old man Transmutation Wizard is smiling ear to ear. The next second, he took a few more dead bodies out from the storage bracelet and then dropped them on the ground.

These corpses were fresh and new. Their mana cores were intact. He brought them here to eat the mana core.

Next, he raised his hand.

A parasitic mouth comes out from the high right palm. The parasitic mouth extends long before piercing into one of the bodies before coming into contact with the mana core.

Munch!

The munching sound can be heard. The old man’s eyes flickered. He is getting feedback from the parasitic organs. He feels rejuvenated.

On the other hand, I’m watching the whole scene from the Gregor Mansion. Thanks to the Gregor Mansion, I can hide and observe external things without any fear.

“Damn,” I muttered while observing the gore scene.

Fortunately, I didn’t awaken any magic related to the Transmutation. Otherwise, I would have followed the same path as the old man. Besides, you need to be intelligent and patient enough to carry out the research experiments.

Which requires a lot of study. And I’m not good at studies. The existence of a system makes it a lot easier. It shows the path clearly.

On top of it, I got an inheritance of the late gravity ancestor. The knowledge gets added every time I break through. So I’m fortunate to compare it to the old man here.

Then I thought about the time. I had sent the message. They should be here anytime soon. I want to see what the old man is going to do at that time.

About 10 minutes later,

Stella arrives at the Verdant City. The Guards were shocked. They don’t know her. But they recognise the badge and elder uniform of the True Elements Society.

They greeted her immediately.

But Stella vanishes from the spot after taking a glance at them.

“Damn, did we meet the elder of the True Elements Society?”

“Looks like the killer is going to get caught.”

“Yeah, we can be worry-free hereafter”

The Guards discuss in a low tone.

On the other hand, Stella appears in mid-air and starts following the route mentioned on the map. The route leads to a red dot. Which shows the current location of Vincent Carey.

But not long after, the red dot disappears. Seeing that Stella’s eyes flickered. A bad reason comes to her mind.

“Don’t tell me the killer has caught him,” She said to herself. Her expression condensed.

Swoosh!

She moves at a fast speed towards the location. So much so she is covering so many distances with every single step.

Not long after, she crosses the main Market and arrives at the location. Standing in the mid-air, she looks down. She spots an old rundown inn.

Construction work is going on near the old inn.

Stella saw a few dozen high-level wizards using their magic spells to form the building structures. She appears above them.

Her eyes glowed for a second. The next second, the workers began to pass out one by one. In the blink of an eye, everyone was on the ground.

Stella is a Level-9 Mind Wizard. She doesn’t have to engage in close combat. She can handle the opponent from a safe distance. But she doesn’t want the locals to end up in the crossfire.

Swoosh!

The next second, she appears in front of the inn. She spreads her mental power to scan the inn. A wave of mental power starts to cover the inn the next second.

As the mental power covers the place, she receives the mental image. Slowly, the mental power covers the nook and corner of the old inn before she finds the basement entrance.

Seeing there was no one inside the rooms. She thinks Vincent could be in the basement. When the mental power further went downwards. She finds a basement room.

Then she gets the image of corpses piled up one after another. Stella’s eyes flash with a cold glint. But before her mental power could go further.

Boom!

A terrific mental power collides with her mental power. The next second, the whole inn explodes, smothered into pieces. The debris was flying everywhere.

The whole land becomes flattered.

In the basement, the old man Transmutation Wizard’s expression changes. The explosion destroyed not only the building but also the corpses with it.

He didn’t expect someone to uncover this place. Now that he was exposed. He decides to kill the intruder.

He thinks the intruder could be the True Elements Society Wizard who came to the city to investigate him.

On the other hand, I jolted awake from my chair. I was hoping the elder would arrive. But I didn’t expect to see this kind of entrance.

Now, smoke has covered the place. I saw the old man, Transmutation Wizard, waving his hand. The next second, the whole smoke disappears.

The view becomes more crystal clear. There was no sign of the old inn whatsoever. Then my gaze fell on a person standing outside. The person then walks into the place, towards the old man Transmutation Wizard.

“It’s not Elder Paul Lin,” I said to myself.

Because the person who made the appearance is a woman.

But I can tell that she is not weaker than the old man. She was calm and collected.

“Wait?”

“How does she know about the location?” I asked in my heart.

Outside,

Stella finally came to see the killer, face to face. Because the old man still has the parasitic mouth in his palms open.

“So you are the one who came to investigate me.”

“But it’s a pity that you won’t return alive,” The old man said with a grin.

Stella’s eyes flash with confusion. The person who came to investigate is none other than Vincent Carey. And he was the one who found out about this location.

But looking at the killer. She feels he had no idea at all.

“Don’t tell me the kid hid in a safe location after coming here. “She said in her heart. But it doesn’t explain the deactivation of the tracker.
