Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

From MC’s Perspective:

When the class was over the Fat middle-aged man left the class. Next, it was the Battle Strategy Class. I went to another lecturer’s hall to attend the class.

This time an old female wizard came to teach us. The Class was more about the history and teachings of the combat mages. The Combat mages are different from normal mages.

Because the combat mages spells are highly destructive. I can understand the importance of the combat mages as the neighbouring countries are attacking my homeland, Sand Rock Country.

If there were more combat mages, then they could easily solve the border wars. The old woman continued the lecture.

Time passed,

After one hour, it was the last class. And it was my favourite class. The Puppet Study Class. Strangely, when I came to this class. I found very wizards sitting in the hall. They are less than 10.

I don’t know how many of them were like me. Enrolled just because of curiosity and learning.

Just before the start of the class, another middle-aged man came. He then simply asked who had magic related to the puppetry.

Surprisingly, only 3 of them raised their hands and the rest of us are here for points. But the Middle-aged man didn’t insult us. He then started to talk about the history and basics of puppetry.

About one hour later,

The lecturer left the class. Since it’s first day, he didn’t directly dive into the topics. Rather, he had explained simple basics. The real topics will start tomorrow.

After finishing all of my four classes, I decided to visit the mana chamber facility.

Soon, I arrived at the place. After using my ID, I entered the facility. There is a female staff sitting behind the desk. I walked up to her and requested to use the mana chamber.

The female staff checked my ID before telling me to use the last mana chamber. There is no one inside right now.

Then I walked up to the chamber and used my ID to enter inside. The door behind me shut automatically. Then I started the function.

Buzz!

A pure mana starts to fill the room. Seeing that I sat crosslegged on the platform. I closed my eyes and started to run the Gravity Ark Mental Method.

When the pure mana envelops the room. A gravity mana particle starts to move in one direction as if they are attracted by something.

Sitting crosslegged, I could feel the gravity mana particles covering me. As the gravity mana particles entered my body. I circulated the gravity mana particles in the body according to the mental method.

A pure gravity mana starts to course through my veins. After circulation, the gravity manas entered the mana core space. Where the mana core immediately absorbs all the incoming mana.

In the blink of an eye, no mana was left. Seeing that I continue to repeat the process.

Meanwhile,

Dimitry has skipped his last class to look for Vincent Carey. When he learnt that Vincent’s classes were over. It was too late for him to take any action.

Red veins popped up on his forehead. He didn’t want to delay any longer. The Clonius Family won’t tolerate any mishap.

“Well, I’ll wait near his dorm building,” He muttered to himself.

These days so many people are spying on Vincent Carey’s dorm building. Because everyone wants to see the drama. Everyone is aware that some seniors in the Bloodline Beast Department didn’t like Vincent Carey.

That’s why they are creating trouble for him. But strangely, Vincent Carey didn’t bother to complain or react Violently to any of this harassment.

Dimitry was bothered by this thought. But he was sure that Vincent Carey had no background. He has a background weaker than his own family. Which is confirmed by the Clonius Family as well.

Without pondering too much on it. He decides to leave right away.

…

Bloodline Beast Department:

Charon Perry didn’t forget his previous failure to subdue the newcomer. But sadly, he can’t ask old man Billy to take action inside the organisation’s territory.

Apart from those 2 idiots, he has other lackeys as well. But he didn’t want to see another failure. Otherwise, people will make fun of him and the department.

Just as he is trying to come up with a plan. He got call from Leona Perry. Seeing that his eyes lit up. He knows that Leona tested the strength of the newcomer.

At that time he didn’t ask her about that. Right now, he wants to hear her opinion.

“Leona, where are you?” He asked.

“Brother, I have come to the main city for some purchase,” She replied.

“Alright, I think we need some discussion,” He said in a solemn tone.

“Okay, we will discuss it in our home,” Leona replied.

Then he ended the call. He knows that walls have ears here. He doesn’t want to discuss anything secret here.

…

A few hours later,

I opened my eyes. Feeling the limit, I decide to end the practice. With a thought, I summoned the status panel.

The status panel appears before my eyes. My gaze fell on the stats. The result was the same. The Mana Core has absorbed the refined mana successfully. But it’s not reflected in the stats. But I’m not disappointed.

After dismissing the start panel, I stood up and turned off the function.

Creak!

The door opened, and I stepped out of the chamber. This the staff has changed. Someone else took the shift. I nodded at the person before leaving the place.

Soon, I left the floating building and started walking towards my dorm room. Thinking about the people keeping an eye on my Dormitory. My mouth curves into an arc.

They don’t dare to step into the dorm building because of the Manager there. So I can safely stay inside the dorm.

When I got closer to the dorm building. The footpath which I’m walking on felt eery. Like someone is watching my movements. Since there was no reaction from the system.

I think it’s just a whim of mine. I ignored it and continued walking towards the dorm building.

[Ding! Warning]

[Killing intent is detected]

A Mechanical voice sounded in my mind. I stopped my footsteps. My eyes flickered. If the system is warning me, then my earlier doubt was correct.

There is indeed something wrong with this place.

Just as I’m thinking about doing something.

Swish!

Something rushes towards me from behind.

“Fast speed,” I uttered in a surprise. I don’t have time to turn around. So, I immediately used the gravity ability to repel the incoming attack.

Ka#boom!

A figure was sent flying backwards before crashing into the footpath. This was all happened in split seconds.

Then I turned around to take a good look at the attacker.

A person was lying on the ground with blood on his hands and face.

“He got a pretty bad hit,” I said to myself.

Then I saw the face of the person. He was in the same class as me.

“Why did he attack me?” I asked in my heart. The attack was not straightforward like others. He has tried to sneak attack on me.

A cold glint flashes in my eyes. I started walking up to him.

Argh!

Dimitry let out a small muffled grunt. The syringe in his right hand fell to the ground. He is experiencing immense pain right now.

He used perfect timing to attack. Yet he has failed to hit him. Dimitry knew it was over for him. He opened his eyes to look at the surroundings.

Then he saw Vincent Carey walking up to him. His eyes narrowed. He then tried to look for the syringe. If the syringe was exposed. It will be all over for him.

He extended his right hand to pick up the syringe. But before he could do someone picked it up.

“Oh, what is this?” I asked him.

At the same time, I used the system function to inspect it. When the result appeared. The smile on my face disappeared.
