Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

From MC’s Perspective:

The following day, I woke up earlier than usual, the faint light of dawn creeping through the curtains. The air was still, and I felt a sense of purpose stirring within me.

I moved through my morning routine mechanically, until I found myself standing outside the small training room in the dorm. A sense of anticipation grew as I approached the door.

One thing I appreciated about this dormitory was the special meditation room reserved for wizards. It was a luxury, really, an architectural marvel designed to enhance focus and mana manipulation.

Stepping inside, I was greeted by the soft, ethereal glow of the walls. They were crafted from rare, translucent crystals that thrummed with latent energy. These weren’t just for show.

They were enchanted to amplify concentration, and I couldn’t help but wonder how much gold had been sunk into constructing such a chamber. The sheer craftsmanship radiated wealth and power.

As I moved further in, I took note of another key feature of the room, a facility designed to pour highly purified, dense mana directly into the space.

The air was different in here, saturated with a potency that made the skin tingle and the mind sharpen. It was a gift, really, this mana. It made me wonder how many wizards had honed their skills within these very walls.

I swept my gaze across the room until I spotted the control console, embedded neatly into the crystal surface. Walking over, I keyed in the most basic settings. No need to overwhelm myself on an empty stomach. I turned on the mana infusion function, and the hum of ancient magic filled the air.

Buzz!

The room came alive, as if awakening from slumber. Pure, undiluted mana began to flood in through invisible inlets, spreading in gentle waves.

There had to be intricate magical engravings woven into the chamber itself to allow for such precision. The flow of mana was seamless, controlled, unlike anything I could achieve on my own.

The mysteries of these mechanisms tugged at the edge of my mind, but I shook my head, setting those thoughts aside for later.

I made my way toward the meditation platform at the center of the room and sat down, crossing my legs. The platform was cool beneath me, grounding me as I closed my eyes and began the process I had come here for.

In my mind, I started practicing the Gravity Ark Mental Method. I had reached a limit in my current level, one I couldn’t seem to break through. But today wasn’t about pushing my limits.

Today, I sought to understand.

Instead of driving myself to absorb gravity mana as I usually did, I shifted my focus. The goal was not to fill my body with mana, but to attune myself to the particles themselves, yheir flow, their nature, their essence.

Slowly, as my concentration deepened, I felt it: the tiniest motes of gravity mana began to gather around me, drawn by the mental method. They floated like dust motes in sunlight, delicate yet powerful.

I didn’t rush. Instead, I let them swirl, gathering just outside my physical form. It was like forming a cocoon of raw, untouched gravity mana around me. I could feel the weight of it, not oppressive, but substantial, grounding.

Each particle seemed to hum with a deep resonance, as if holding secrets of the universe within them.

I focused entirely on this layer of mana, surrounding myself with it rather than drawing it into me. I let the particles swarm, dense but controlled, feeling their connection to the greater forces of gravity.

Time slipped away as I immersed myself in the trying to understand the mystery of gravity mana.

A few hours passed by in a trance-like state, the flow of gravity mana swirling around me in perfect harmony. I had lost all sense of time, completely immersed in the sensation of being wrapped in the potent energy.

My mind floated in a serene, meditative calm, when suddenly—

Bzzz!

The sharp buzz of the communication device attached to my storage bracelet shattered the stillness. The sound felt jarring in the otherwise silent room, dragging me out of my focus.

I opened my eyes slowly, blinking as I reoriented myself to the present. The soft glow of the crystal walls seemed dimmer now, the mana in the room settling as if waiting for my next move.

With a sigh, I glanced at the small display on my wrist where the notification blinked insistently. “One hour left,” I muttered under my breath, reading the reminder. It was the signal that my time to visit the special mage department was fast approaching.

Though annoyed by the interruption, I knew it was enough time to prepare. I took a deep breath, letting the residual traces of gravity mana settle around me before slowly shifting my focus.

My muscles were a little stiff from sitting for so long, but I stretched them out, feeling the energy still tingling beneath my skin.

I brought up the status panel with a single thought, watching as it materialized before me in glowing text and diagrams. My stats, my mana reserves, everything was displayed clearly, updating in real time.

My gaze immediately fell on the Gravity Rule within the status panel. As expected, it hadn’t changed. The same stagnant numbers stared back at me, mocking my earlier hopes.

A flash of disappointment coursed through me, my brow furrowing as frustration set in. I had been expecting too much, far too soon. Of course, such a monumental shift in understanding wouldn’t happen overnight, even in a specialized environment like this.

I took a deep breath, letting the weight of my expectations settle. The pure mana environment of this Ancient Country had given me an invaluable opportunity, one that most wizards could only dream of.

It had heightened my sensitivity to mana and allowed me to deepen my connection to the Gravity Rule, but expecting immediate breakthroughs was foolish. If I truly wanted to elevate my understanding of gravity’s mysteries, I would need something more.

I need to find a higher source of energy… or perhaps exploring hidden ruins in this country, I mused. Only in such places could I hope to find the kind of energy capable of enhancing my comprehension of the Gravity Rule.

But such sources were rare and often fraught with danger. I couldn’t rely on environments like this meditation chamber forever.

With a soft sigh, I dismissed the status panel, the glowing text fading from view. I stretched my legs and stood, my body feeling lighter now that the gravity mana had dissipated.

My steps echoed softly as I crossed the room to the control console. With a swift motion, I turned off the mana infusion function.

The steady hum that had filled the air gradually quieted, and the dense pure mana that had surrounded me began to thin out, seeping back into the invisible channels that fed the chamber.

I stood there, watching as the mana faded away, leaving the room still and quiet once more. The crystal walls lost some of their glow, and the environment returned to normal.

Turning away from the console, I exited the meditation chamber and made my way back to my quarters. Once inside, I shed my training clothes and headed straight for the bathroom.

The bath lasted for twenty-five minutes. Afterward, I changed into my new mage uniform, emblazoned with the True Elements Society’s crest. Once dressed, I began preparing to leave.

Fifteen minutes later, I stepped out of my dorm room and secured it with my token, preventing unauthorized entry. Turning around, I left the building. Experience tales with empire

As I exited the dorm, I noticed other wizard students heading toward their respective departments.

I scanned the surroundings, doubting if any other Special Mage Department students resided in the same building.

Realizing I was wasting time, I decided to venture out alone. I had already memorized the location of the Special Mage Department.
