Chapter 2446: Chapter 2446: Act Like A Ghost

”Why are you bringing them in, Master?” Shino asked, disgusted with the evil cultivators.

”They are sleeping right now, but what if they wake up later?” Aoi also disagreed about bringing the strangers into Sere.

”Don’t worry about that, sweetheart. They will not wake up without my medicine. Well, in case they wake up, you can do whatever you want with them.” Yu Qi stated.

”Whatever we want? So, I can eat them if they wake up?” Xiaohua asked in an innocent and sweet voice, even though the question was quite dark.

”Well, if that happens.” Yu Qi nodded.

After talking to the little cuties, they left Sere. They went back to the hiking track and climbed up to the top to enjoy the sunset. It was indeed beautiful. They took some pictures.

The sun disappeared and the sky slowly turned dark. A few people who were also enjoying the scene began to leave the place. Yu Qi and Long Hui had already started to leave.

”The evil cultivator mentioned that the man who helped them, what should we do with him?” Yu Qi asked.

”We can not prove that he was involved in the cases because it is complicated.” Long Hui sighed.

”Even though he was not involved in direct killing, it did not mean he was innocent.” Yu Qi clicked her tongue.

Then, she smiled. It was a weird smile when Yu Qi had some wicked in her mind.

”You are thinking about doing something to him.” Long Hui stated when he saw that smile.

”Hmm... Let’s return to our room first.” Yu Qi stated.

”Okay.” Long Hui nodded.

When Yu Qi and Long Hui returned to the resort, the first person they saw was the man who helped the evil cultivators. He was so shocked that he stumbled down. He looked so pale.

Yu Qi and Long Hui pretended to be surprised when they saw the man react like that.

”Are you okay?” Yu Qi even asked.

”Yeah... Yeah...” The man quickly stood up and ran away.

When Yu Qi and Long Hui returned to the room, Yu Qi took out her laptop and typed something. She did her research about the missing people. The last place they had been seen was the hill. It was a public record. There were about 47 people who went missing after they went hiking on the hill. It was the same numbers that the evil cultivators mentioned before.

47 people died because of the evil cultivators. About 10 of the victims were kids. Just because they wanted the human life force to sustain their cultivation level. They were scums.

She opened the new tab and typed something again. Within a minute, the details about the man appeared on Yu Qi’s laptop.

Long Hui leaned over. He saw the information.

”This is the man’s information. What are you trying to do?” Long Hui raised his eyebrow.

”Let’s eat dinner first. Call the room service.” Yu Qi said.

Long Hui contacted the room service. Yu Qi stated what she wanted to eat. 15 minutes later, the food arrived. They ate in the balcony room because it faced the sea. They could smell the sea air too.

After finishing dinner, Yu Qi finally got ready to do something.

”Let’s do something fun.” Yu Qi grinned.

”Fun?” Long Hui was confused again.

Yu Qi explained what she would be going to do to the man. Long Hui looked at her for a second before bursting into laughter.

”You are trying to do the same thing... Like you do to Mu Li Zei.” Long Hui kept laughing.

”Well, since we can not punish him with the law, we can torture his mind by reminding what he has done to those innocent people.” Yu Qi said.

”Okay... Let’s go it.” Long Hui nodded.

The man was renting a house not far from his workplace. And he was living alone. It was a good thing for them.

So, Yu Qi and Long Hui went to the man’s house. The light was on. They were already turned invisible. They knocked on the man’s door.

The man thought it was the evil cultivators who came over. However, when he opened the door, he found nothing. Then, he felt something push his shoulder. It was not hard enough to make him notice it. He looked out again, checking for anyone. After confirming there was no one, he finally closed the door.

The man returned to his couch and sat on it. He was enjoying a movie.

Yu Qi finally made her move. She leaned over and whispered into the man’s ear.

”Feeling happy?” Yu Qi asked.

The man jumped from his couch when he heard the voice. He looked around and did not see anyone. Nothing behind him. He slowly sat again on his couch. However, his attention was somewhere else, not on the movie that he needed.

Yu Qi told Long Hui to speak.

”Do you think you can escape?” Long Hui said.

The man jumped from his coach again. This time, he had heard sound and he was not imagining things. However, he searched for the voice and still found nothing.

”Who’s there? Don’t hide!” The man shouted.

Silence. Yu Qi and Long Hui held back their laughter together.

”If you are the ghost, go and find the people that kill you. I am not the one who kill you.” The man said.
