Chapter 2431: Chapter 2431: Found Out That He Was Taking A Shortcut

Xie Jinhai immediately called his old manager. After a while, only then, his old manager picked the call.

”Hey, I had been told by Director Ming that my role in his new drama had been terminated.” Xie Jinhai immediately spoke the matter.

”Yeah. What’s about that?” The old manager responded.

”In the contract, why don’t you tell me about that clause, where I am going to lose my role if I jumped into another company?” Xie Jinhai asked.

”Eh, I thought you know about that. I told you that you should read the contract that you signed so that you know everything.” The old manager said.

”But you checked the contract.” Xie Jinhai argued.

”I do. I checked the contract. I don’t think the contract has any problem. Only then, I give it to you. I already told you several times to read it before you signed.” The old manager stated.

”That...” Xie Jinhai could not know what to reply.

”Anyway, that drama is funded by Qiaosu Entertainment Company. The lead must be from Qiaosu Entertainment Company. You can ask your new company to fund a new drama.” The old manager stated.

”Well...” Xie Jinhai tried to say something but the old manager cut him off.

”I have work to do. Bye.” The old manager said.

He had been assigned to another newbie. So, he had a lot of things to do.

Xie Jinhai looked at his phone. That was cold. He forgot how cold he was when he left the old manager.

”You still have another drama. Let’s see if the role still belongs to you.” Su Cao stated.

”Yeah.” Xie Jinhai nodded.

He called Director Gao, asking about his role. Director Gao answered the call.

”Hello, Director Gao. This is Xie Jinhai.” Xie Jinhai said after Director Gao picked up the call.

”Oh... Xie Jinhai... From Qiaosu Entertainment, right?” Director Gao recalled his memory.

”Yeah. I am currently belonged to Wang World.” Xie Jinhai explained.

”Oh... You jumped into another company?” Director Gao was surprised.

”Yeah. Am I being terminated from the roles because I changed my management company?” Xie Jinhai asked.

”Of course, not. You are going to be starring in my new drama. That is so sure.” Director Gao stated.

Hearing this, Xie Jinhai was so relieved.

”Well, we are about to have a gathering with other crew. Why don’t you come and celebrate with us?” Director Gao invited Xie Jinhai.

”I need to ask permission from my manager first.” Xie Jinhai said.

”Sure... Sure... But I don’t think you want to miss the chance to get along with other crew members.” Director Gao smiled.

”Yes.” Xie Jinhai said.

The call ended.

”My role in Director Gao’s drama is still mine. Director Gao invites me to get together with other crew members. Should I go?” Xie Jinhai asked.

”Glad to hear that. You should go, building relationship with other crew members is a good thing.” Su Cao supported going to the get together.

Director Ming announced the actors and actresses would be in his new drama. When Xie Jinhai’s fan found out Xie Jinhai was not on the list, they lost it. They attacked the website page and Director Ming’s social media. They knew that the male lead role belonged to Xie Jinhai. They wanted Xie Jinhai to be the male lead. Otherwise, they would not stop attacking.

Director Ming responded by posting on his social media that the list was final and nothing would change. To be honest, when Director Ming chose Xie Jinhai before to be his male lead, it was because of Fang Lanying. Fang Lanying wanted to promote Xie Jinhai. So, she pressured Director Ming to let Xie Jinhai be the male lead.

Since Fang Lanying lost her position, Director Ming could choose the actor freely from Qiaosu Entertainment Company. He was feeling good with his choice. He knew it would be a hit once it had done.

Xie Jinhai’s fans could not accept that. They began to attack the actor that had been chosen for the male lead. They told the actor that he was worthless compared to Xie Jinhai.

Qiaosu Entertainment Company gave out statement that very professional.

”We, Qiaosu Entertainment Company had been maintain a fair competition between our artists. We really despised the ones who chose the shortcut.”

That was the response from Qiaosu Entertainment PR department. The last statement really stood out. They did not point to anyone but people would know who was Qiaosu Entertainment Company talked about.

”So, Xie Jinhai took the shortcut? The company found out and end his contract?”

”That is probably what happened right now.”

”I really wanted to know what kind of shortcut that Xie Jinhai take that Qiaosu Entertainment Company could not accept it?”

”Well... I heard from someone.”

”Commentor above, please tell us.”

”Yeah... We really want to know.”

”I heard Qiaosu Entertainment Company terminated a few contract with their artists. Mostly, newbies.”

”Owh... What’s a news. Why though?”

”I heard the newbies slept with the higher ups. The higher ups would promote them to be famous.”

”What? There is someone like that in Qiaosu Entertainment Company? Let’s boycott them.”

”The company already investigated the higher ups. When the higher ups was found guilty in their investigation, they immediately fired her on the spot. They found out she had been sleeping with a lot of newbies in promise to promote them. The company terminated their contracts.”
