Reborn : Space Intelligent Woman

Chapter 2412: Could Not Understand

Yu Qi and Long Hui went to the Capital City. Yu Qi went to see Fung Meng Xuan, while Long Hui went to have a meeting with the military.

When Fung Meng Xuan knew that Yu Qi was coming, she knew what she was about to know would shake the world. So, she had been waiting for Yu Qi in the room silently. She trembled as she saw Yu Qi.

The soldier told Yu Qi that he would be waiting around and told her to call him if she needed something. Yu Qi nodded and thanked the soldier.

The moment the soldier closed the door, Fung Meng Xuan stood up and spoke to Yu Qi.

”You have been reborn, have you?” Fung Meng Xuan sought confirmation.

Yu Qi turned and looked straight at Fung Meng Xuan. ”You just realised it?”

”You... No wonder. You are not supposed to be like this.” Fung Meng Xuan was agitated.

”How do I suppose to be? To be me who was in the past, believing somewhat you said and have me killed in that wood?” Yu Qi spoke gently.

”You remember all of them?” Fung Meng Xuanʼs hands were shaking.

”Of course, I remembered that. How cold your words and actions were at that time.” Yu Qi narrowed her eyes and talked sharply.

”That... That...” Fung Meng Xuan could not utter a single word.

”You cut my hands and legs. You even brought a team of doctors to treat me from losing too much blood. Because of what? Because you did not want me to die so easily. You toss into woods that have a lot of animals. Because of that, I watched my body being eaten by those animals.” Yu Qi recalled the pain that she had suffered while she was dying.

”I donʼt mean to be like that.” Fung Meng Xuan shook her head.

”Donʼt mean it?” Yu Qi scoffed. ”Please, donʼt make me laugh. You meant every single damn word that you said to me before I was dying.”

”I... I... just did what I thought was right for me at that moment,” Fung Meng Xuan wanted to argue.

”Snatched everything thatʼs mine? Cutting my hands and legs? Tossing my body into the woods and letting me die there? Were those right for you?” Yu Qi smacked her hand on the table.

The table in front of them was made of iron. It was particularly strong. However, when Yu Qi smacked the table, it immediately left a deep dent on the surface. It seemed Yu Qi held back her strength; otherwise, the table would be destroyed. Yu Qi leaned over to the chair.

”You know what? If you told me that you love that bastard and wanted to be his wife, I would gladly step aside and give him to you. Because what? I never loved him. We were together because of our business.” Yu Qi spoke. Then, her tone became icy. ”But you chose to kill me. Not to mention, you dared to lay your hands on my grandfather.”

”So... So... You already know who your biological family is?” Fung Meng Xuan uttered.

”Yes.” Yu Qi nodded.

”Then, why have you still stayed in the Tang Family?” Fung Meng Xuan could not understand that.

”Because I love them as my family. They care about me and treat me as their own. Why should I leave such a family?” Yu Qi stated.

Fung Meng Xuan could not understand that feeling. She was also the same as Yu Qi. An orphan. However, there was a slightly different situation on Fung Meng Xuanʼs side. She was not abandoned when she was a baby. She was abandoned by her family when she was 5 years old. It was because her family could not afford to take care of two children.

Fung Meng Xuan was the firstborn in her family. She felt the love from her parent. However, that changed when her mother had the second child. To make it worse, the second child was a boy. The family was happy when they heard that they would get a son. Her family was the family that believed that the son would carry the bloodline.

Fung Meng Xuan was happy when she was told that she would get a little brother. She promised her parent that she would be a good sister to her little brother. She did not notice the look on her parent at that time.

Her mother gave birth to her little brother. She wanted to hold her little brother, but her mother refused to let her do that. A few weeks after her mother gave birth, her parent told her that they would bring her to a happy place. Fung Meng Xuan was very happy. She dressed up and followed her father.

She was confused as to why her mother and little brother did not follow her. So, she asked her father. Her father told her that her mother and little brother needed to rest at home. Her father took her on his bicycle.

It took almost 3 hours before her father stopped in front of a house. Her father knocked on the door. A man came out. They talked a little bit before her father pointed his finger at Fung Meng Xuan.

The man nodded. He seemed to be calling someone. Then, a woman came out. They talked again. The couple paid Fung Meng Xuanʼs father.
