Chapter 2440: Chapter 2440: Birthday Gift Part One

”It is not. I know that Brother Hui will catch me.” Tang Heng Nuo hugged Long Hui’s neck.

”You really like Brother Hui, are you?” Yu Qi pinched Tang Heng Nuo’s nose.

”Of course. Like Bo Lin likes Sister Yu.” Tang Heng Nuo said.

”Heng Nuo!” Tang Bo Lin shouted Tang Heng Nuo’s name.

”What? Bo Lin dislikes me?” Yu Qi looked at Tang Bo Lin.

”No. I like Sister Qi.” Tang Bo Lin said.

Yu Qi laughed. ”I know... I know... I like our Bo Lin too.” She hugged Tang Bo Lin.

They were heading to the restaurant. Some of the people who attended the party yesterday were already there having their breakfast. They were chatting and having their breakfast.

Yu Qi and Long Hui also went to take the food, as it was a buffet-style setup where everyone could grab anything they wanted to eat from the table.

”Sister Yu Qi!!! Good morning.” Dian Qi Qi greeted Yu Qi.

”Hmm... Good morning.” Yu Qi replied. ”Where is everyone?”

”Over there.” Dian Qi Qi pointed at the Dian Family, who seemed already finished eating.

”I see.” Yu Qi nodded.

”Well, Great-Grandpa says he wants to take a look around for two days before going back.” Dian Qi Qi said.

”Then, let me...” Yu Qi did not finish her sentence when Dian Qi Qi stopped her.

”No... No... No... Great-Grandpa says he does not want to trouble you with anything. Besides, don’t we have my brother? He has been staying in this country before. He can show us around.” Dian Qi Qi said. ”Well, I would like to have a date with you here, though.”

Hearing that, Long Hui glared at Yu Qi. Dian Qi Qi glared back.

”Both of you, enough.” Yu Qi warned them.

Only then did both of them back up.

”Okay... Sister Yu Qi... I am going now.” Dian Qi Qi said.

After breakfast, Yu Qi and Long Hui decided to take a walk on the beach. The sun was not too hot and was suitable for walking on the beach. Yu Qi was holding Long Hui’s arm as they walked in silence.

”Thank you for the surprise birthday party. I really love it.” Yu Qi broke the silence.

”You’re welcome.” Long Hui replied.

”You gathered all of my family members. It is my best birthday present.” Yu Qi stated.

”No... No... No... Don’t think it is my present. My present is something else.” Long Hui shook his head.

”You prepare another gift?” Yu Qi was surprised.

”Of course. I will show you about that later.” Long Hui said.

The guests could stay for another night or leave. Long Hui booked the rooms for two nights. The men in the Tang Family, except Grandpa Tang and Tang Han Lee, stayed for another night. Others returned due to their work.

Tang Jin Wei pouted as he needed to check out. He really dragged his legs slowly. However, he had been pulled by Tang Qin Hao by the collar. Tang Jin Wei had a surgery scheduled for the next day. He could not back out. If he dared to do something like that, his father would beat him up.

He did once before. He thought that because it was his private family hospital, he could do as he pleased. Grandpa Tang, his father and his uncle pulled him and beat him up. Because they were doctor, they knew where to beat to cause maximum pain. And they mostly beat his face, which made him feel proud. After that incident, he did not dare to back off from the surgery.

Ming Yue and Su Xiao stayed with the children. Tang Heng Nuo pulled her brother to explore the resort together.

Grandpa Mu told Yu Qi that he needed to return to the Fanghai Nation that afternoon. Yu Qi nodded understandingly. She knew that her grandfather was busy handling the business. Yu Qi offered to send him to the airport but he refused. He told her that his assistant was already on the way to pick him up and would go straight to the airport.

He told her that she did not need to worry about him. He could handle it. She could spend time with others. After saying goodbye to Grandpa Mu, Yu Qi returned to the room with Long Hui.

That was when Long Hui told her that he would show his present to Yu Qi.

”Okay... Where is it?” Yu Qi was excited to find out about that.

Long Hui took out the purple jade. Yu Qi’s eyes lit up when she saw the purple jade. She could feel the Qi leaking from the jade. The purple jade in Long Hui’s palm seemed to vibrate before it jumped on Yu Qi’s head. It seemed to be dancing on Yu Qi’s head.

”What is going on here?” Yu Qi was really confused at the moment having a stone dancing on her head.

”You should know that this purple jade is not normal. It has already gained its own consciousness. When I found it earlier, it wanted to jump into my Meridian. I blocked it. I told it that I am not going to be its owner. Looking at the jade right now, it seems to be delighted to have you as its new owner.” Long Hui explained.

After dancing for a while, the purple jade jumped down to Yu Qi’s wrist. It dove into Yu Qi’s Meridian before Yu Qi could say anything more.
