Chapter 2439: Chapter 2439: Sing The Song

The next person who came and greeted Yu Qi was Qin Xia.

”I never thought Senior Brother Xia would come to my birthday party.” Yu Qi grinned.

”Whose party will I come to if not yours?” Qin Xia smacked her forehead lightly.

”What kind of gift do you bring for me?” Yu Qi asked.

He was the one whom she asked about her birthday gift.

”I already put it over there. I think you will know it is my gift when you see it.” Qin Xia smiled.

”Okay... I will take a look at it later.” Yu Qi grinned.

”I will leave first.” Qin Xia said.

”You already want to leave?” Yu Qi frowned.

”Hmm... I have seen you and given the present. You know me. I don’t like the crowd.” Qin Xia patted Yu Qi’s head.

”Hmm... I understand. Be careful in your way out.” Yu Qi nodded.

”He is leaving?” Long Hui came to Yu Qi’s side when he saw Qin Xia leaving Yu Qi.

”Hmm... Senior Brother Xia dislikes the crowd.” Yu Qi nodded.

”Don’t be sad. It is your birthday. You have to enjoy the party. You still have to cut your birthday cake.” Long Hui touched Yu Qi’s nose.

On Long Hui’s cue, the staff pushed out a big cake. The cake had a white and light purple colour. It was a very soft colour.

”Let the birthday girl cut the cake.” Ming Yue said.

So, Yu Qi faced the big cake. Everyone gathered around and sang the song.

”Happy birthday to you... Happy birthday to you... Happy birthday to Yu Qi... Happy birthday to you.”

Everyone sang the song and cheered at the end of the song. Yu Qi blew out the candle and made a wish. She then cut the cake.

When she was a child, she felt so jealous of Wang Fu Ya, Wang Ha Na and Wang Yu Jin because their mother, Wang Shi Xen, always remembered to buy a cake on their birthdays but always forgot to buy one on her birthdays. When she asked about that, Wang Shi Xen had a lot of reasons.

”You are the oldest.”

”You are already this old. Why do you need a cake?”

”You should be glad that you are still alive.”

”We don’t have any money.”

The last reason was the most used one. However, Yu Qi did not understand when, on the next day, Wang Shi Xen magically had money to buy other things for her children. She had been disappointed too many times that she never brought out her birthday anymore. That was why she did not remember much about her birthday because it was a normal day for her when she was younger.

However, Long Hui remembered her birthday and even threw this party for her. She was very happy. For the last few years, he had only celebrated with her. The firework, the drone performance and even this hall... Everything was perfect. She really loved it.

No wonder Long Hui seemed to be texting a lot. He was planning this party for her.

”Thank you.” Yu Qi whispered to Long Hui.

Long Hui just smiled at Yu Qi.

Everyone had fun at Yu Qi’s party. They had delicious food and cake to be enjoyed.

....

The next day, the news about the party was in the headlines. Some people were near the beach and recorded the fireworks and the drone performance. They clearly caught the words that the drone made.

They also got a picture of the party. The hall was decorated beautifully with the purple wisteria flowers hanging on the ceiling. It created a feeling that they were in a garden.

However, most of the guests that had been invited were unknown to the people. The only people they knew were the Tang Family. It was Yu Qi’s family. The netizen really wondered about their identity. To be invited to be in Yu Qi’s birthday party, they must be someone.

Yu Qi saw the news and read the comment. She decided to post something on her social media.

”Wonderful day with all of my family.”

That was the caption to the picture of the cake.

The netizen immediately saw the post. So, the people at the party were Yu Qi’s family.

Long Hui just woke up and saw Yu Qi holding her phone. He put his hand on her waist.

”Why are you waking up so early?” Long Hui asked.

”It is a biological clock.” Yu Qi responded.

”It meant you have not been tired enough. Come on.” Long Hui whispered to Yu Qi’s ear and bit it gently.

”Ah... You, don’t play around.” Yu Qi pushed Long Hui.

After the party, everyone stayed overnight at the resort. Long Hui had already booked rooms for everyone.

Yu Qi got out of bed and went to the bathroom to take a shower. Long Hui also got out of bed after Yu Qi got out of the bathroom.

Both of them were leaving their room to go to the restaurant for breakfast. When they were about to enter the restaurant, they heard a small voice calling for Long Hui’s name.

”Brother Hui, good morning.” Tang Heng Nuo threw herself at Long Hui.

Long Hui caught her before she fell on the ground.

”Heng Nuo, you can not run like that. It is dangerous.” Su Xiao was scared to see her daughter rush over like that.
