Chapter 2191: Chapter 2191: Being Handcuffs And Taken Away By The Police

The news about Bai Xia Fang being arrested spread like wildfire. Yu Qi already contacted some reporters, telling them to pay attention to the Bai Family, promising there would be an

exciting story unfolding tonight.

They were eager to have some exciting story in their writing. Of course, they could not stay in front of Bai Family Mansion since it was located inside the area which had security around there. It was impossible to enter without any identification details. They would stay not far from the entrance.

They waited for a long time. Still, nothing happened. They felt that they had been tricked by someone. They were about to give up when they saw several police cars rush to the entrance. The security guards had no power to stop the police.

The reporters saw the chance and sneaked into the area as well. They followed the police car which then stopped right in front of Bai Familyʼs Mansion and rushed into the Mansion. The reporters felt blood rushing to their minds. Without any doubt, they recorded the situation.

After a while, the police came out with Bai Xia Fang in handcuffs. This was indeed an exciting news. Some of the neighbours also came out of their houses to watch the situation. One of the reporters braved himself and went to ask the police officer who was still on the scene. Bai Xia Fang already left with another police car.

”Sir, can you explain to us why did you catch President Bai?” The reporter asked.

”You can wait for the official notice from the police.” The police officer answered thinking that this person was the neighbour.

The reporter nodded. He did not dare to ask for more. With the footage that caught Bai Xia Fang being arrested and being put into the police car with handcuffs, they could write many things. However, thinking about their boss, they probably needed to go to the police station to inquire about the situation.

The reporters still posted the video to the public stating that Bai Xia Fang had been caught by the police. As for the reason, they still did not know about this.

However, as the news about Bai Xia Fang being caught hit the internet, the market share of Bai Corporation dropped again. The shareholders wanted to sell their shares but no one wanted to buy the share at this moment. The business has suffered a lot for these past few months.

Bai Shu Jin also found out his father had been taken away by the police. He drove to the police station to ask about the situation. Seeing Bai Shu Jin, the police officer bowed his head slightly.

”What is going on with my father? Why are you arresting him?” Bai Shu Jin said.

The police invited Bai Shu Jin into a room. He knew many people wanted to know the situation. His immediate superior wanted him to handle with case with confidential.

Bai Shu Jin sat down and asked the same question over again.

”Mr Bai, your father is involved in tax evasion. However, upon further investigation, it involved some of the politicians, and this case became a high profile case.” The police officer said.

”Tax evasion?” Bai Shu Jin was surprised.

He did not expect his father would do something like that. But it was indeed something that his father would do.

”Can my father come out?” Bai Shu Jin asked again.

”The evidence is very solid. It will be difficult.” The police officer was honest.

Bai Shu Jin was silent for a moment before excusing himself. With his father out of the picture

to take care of the company, he would have to step up and take care of the company.

Bai Xia Fang contacted every shareholder to attend the meeting the next day.

The one who caused this matter fell asleep in her fiancéʼs arms. She slept deeply without noticing her fiance still had not slept and just stared at Yu Qiʼs face.

Yu Qi did not know Long Hui also played his part in catching Bai Xia Fang. While Yu Qi submitted Bai Xia Fangʼs tax evasion evidence to the police, Long Hui submitted the evidence on how Bai Xia Fang used some bribes to the politicians in order to get the big tender from the government.

He also submitted this evidence to President Hai. President Hai was also happy to get this evidence. The politicians were in the list mostly likely were from his opponents party. He had longing to take down them but having no enough evidence. So, when Long Hui handed over the evidence, he was very pleased.

Long Hui did not stop there. He also investigated Bai Jian. He discovered that she also had been fooling around with some younger men. He did not care about that. She could play with any men that she liked.

However, one incident caught Long Huiʼs attention. That was a young man in his 20 years old died because of Bai Jian. The young man was an excellent student at the university but he was poor. So, he went to work at the night club.

That was where Bai Jian saw him and taken a liking at the innocent young man. She wanted him to accompany her for a nightt. However, the young man refused Bai Jian. Of course, Bai Jian did not take it nicely. She was furious at the young man.
