2184  Chapter 2184: Getting Calls

They returned home feeling happy especially Huang Guan Lan and Lin Ming Shu. Huang Guan Lan held Lin Ming Shuʼs hand while walking, afraid that she might bump into something.

”Donʼt be over-cautious. I will be fine.” Lin Ming Shu said.

”I know... I know...” Huang Guan Lan replied but still did not let go of his wifeʼs hand. Lin Ming Shu laughed helplessly. It was still a beginning. They arrived home. Huang Guan Lan immediately took some action. He asked the maid to move Lin Ming Shuʼs belongings to the room downstairs. He did not want Lin Ming Shu to use the room upstairs, fearing that Lin Ming Shu might miss her steps while climbing the staircase. Long Hui got a phone call. He looked over and saw the name of the screen. His brow raised. It was his grandfather. His grandfather usually never called him. He picked up the answer.

The moment he picked up the call, Long Hui could hear the roar from his grandfather. Even Yu Qi, who stood beside him, was stunned hearing that.

”You bastard!!! What had you done?” Grandpa Long said.

”Grandpa, if you donʼt want to talk, I will hang up.” Long Hui said.

”What have you done to my granddaughter-in-law?” Grandpa Long asked.

”What have I done to her?” Long Hui asked while looking at Yu Qi beside him.

Yu Qi also wanted to know why Grandpa Long asked such a question.

”You bastard, you already impregnated her but still refused to get married. Do you want your child to be born out of wedlock?” Grandpa Long asked again.

”Huh?” Yu Qi was shocked to hear this.

”Grandpa, what are you saying?” Long Hui replied. ”Donʼt try to deny it. I already know. Both of you went to the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Peopleʼs Hospital. Wait, donʼt tell me that you go there to force her to do the abortion?” Grandpa Long imagined the worst.

Long Hui frowned. He never knew that his grandfather was such an imaginative person. ”Grandpa, there is no such thing.” Long Hui said. ”Then, why are you going there?” Grandpa Long asked.

Before Long Hui answered the question, Yu Qi snatched the phone. ”Hello, Grandpa. It is Yu Qi.” Yu Qi said.

”Oh... Yu Qi, tell me, does the brat force you to do something? Donʼt be afraid. You can tell me.” Grandpa Long softened his tone.

”Grandpa, I am not pregnant. We are going there to accompany the First Brother and his wife. They are the ones who will be expecting the new life.” Yu Qi explained.

”First Brother? You mean Guan Lan, that brat?” Grandpa Long asked for confirmation.

”Yes.” Yu Qi said.

”Oh... I see.” Grandpa Long finally calmed down.

”By the way, Grandpa, how did you know we are there? At the hospital?” Yu Qi asked wanting to know.

”My friend told me about that. He told me he saw the picture online.” Grandpa Long said.

”I see.” Yu Qi said.

”Okay... So, it is a misunderstanding. Tell that brat that I am sorry for misunderstanding him.” Grandpa Long said. After that, he hung up the call.

Yu Qi opened the social media. Yes, there was a picture of them in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department. The post gained a lot of attention. Then, there was a call from Grandpa Tang. Yu Qi answered. ”Yu Qi, tell me, the truth. Is it true that you are pregnant?” Grandpa Tang demanded to know the truth.

”Grandpa, I am not pregnant. This picture is misleading. We were here because one of his sworn brotherʼs wife is the one who is pregnant.” Yu Qi said.

”Thatʼs great, then. If you are really pregnant, I will beat that brat.” Grandpa Tang said.

Yu Qi laughed. Imagining Long Hui getting beaten up by Grandpa Tang was quite hilarious.

”Humph! It is not like I donʼt want to impregnate you.” Long Hui snorted.

Yu Qi laughed. A lot of people started to call Yu Qi, and Long Hui asked if the news was true. Even the military called Long Hui and asked him about the news. Feng Yue also called Yu Qi.

”Why donʼt you tell me about the news? I will forgive you if you allow me to be the childʼs godmother.” Feng Yue said.

”I am not pregnant.” Yu Qi destroyed Feng Yueʼs dream.

”What? Really?” Feng Yue was surprised.

”Yes. We are there because of Brother Huiʼs sworn brothers. They are the ones who will expect the child.” Yu Qi said.

”Oh... Shame.” Feng Yue was disappointed.

”Grandpa Long called Brother Hui earlier, scolding him, thinking that I am pregnant and still not married yet.” Yu Qi laughed.

”Hahaha... I can imagine it.” Feng Yue said. ”Well, Yu Qi, you better make a statement about this.” ”Yeah. I am thinking of doing that too.” Yu Qi nodded.

”Well... I am hanging up now. Bye.” Feng Yue ended the conversation. Yu Qi looked at Long Hui. ”I am going to make a statement through my PR company explaining this matter. Is that okay?” She asked for his opinion. ”That is a good idea. Just do it.” Long Hui nodded.

Yu Qi immediately called Lei Yingtai to ask her to get this matter done. Let Yingtai was also curious about this. Yu Qi explained everything to Lei Yingtai and asked the PR department to put out the statement issuing this matter.
