Chapter 2153: Chapter 2153: Mu Yian Told Her Father About Her Suspicion

Mu Yian nodded to the girls who still wanted to drink. She excused herself smiling to them as she stood up.

She got out of the room, smiling. As soon as she closed the door, she changed her facial expression.

She sighed. She did not know if she needed to keep meeting with those stupid girls. They often talked and argued about stupid things.

To be honest, she made friends with them just because they were from similar backgrounds. They were the second rich generation. However, their family prioritized their son to inherit the family.

Well, she also thought their families were kind of stupid. They should prioritise skills over gender. Who cared if the heir was a girl? It should be enough that the heir was talented and brilliant in managing the business. If the person who inherited the company could not lead the company well, the company would totally go under.

She was glad that her father was not kind of stupid to think that only a son could inherit the company. However, she could not say the same to her mother. Her mother probably wanted her younger brother to inherit the company but he was still young. Her mother probably wanted her to take care of the company until her younger brother was ready to take over. Well, if that time arrived, she would fight for her right.

When she was getting out, she saw Yu Qi and Long Hui walking to the lobby. They probably just finished having dinner with her grandfather. She looked around and did not see him. Her grandfather had probably already gone home.

She thought about the matter earlier. This Tang Yu Qi probably did not know about her true identity. Otherwise, she would come over to stay in the Mu Family.

She needed to go back and talk about this matter to her father. She wanted to hear about her fatherʼs opinion regarding this matter.

Mu Yian did not know that Grandpa Mu was just passing her car. She did not notice it and drove over. After driving for about half an hour, Mu Yian arrived home.

As she was about to enter the room, she was greeted by someone from behind. Mu Yian turned around and saw Mu Kuang He who just returned home too.

”Sister Yian, you just return home as well.” Mu Kuang He smiled.

”Hmm... You too?” Mu Yian asked.

”Hmm... I just come back from playing games with my friends.” Mu Kuang He grinned.

”Playing games with your friends? How about your study?” Mu Yian asked.

”Donʼt worry. I can balance them both.” Mu Kuang He said.

”Just donʼt let mother find out about this. Otherwise, you might get an earful.” Mu Yian said.

”Yes... If I get caught, my ears will bleed for two hours hearing Motherʼs lecture.” Mu Kuang He said.

”Where did you go, Kuang He?”

When they entered the living room, they heard the voice asking for Mu Kuang Heʼs whereabouts earlier. Both Mu Yian and Mu Kuang He turned and looked at their mother.

”Kuang He, can you hear me? Where did you go?” Su Yu Qing asked again when her first question was ignored.

”I just came back from the library studying with my friends.” Mu Kuang He lied.

”Really?” Su Yu Qing narrowed her first.

”Of course.” Mu Kuang He nodded and smiled.

This time, Mu Yian decided to help her younger brother.

”Mum, I fetch him from the university earlier.” Mu Yian said.

”Really? Then, why are you not answering your phone?” Mu Kuang He said.

”My phone probably went off after I sent a text to my sister. I did not notice it. Sorry, Mum.” Mu Kuang He said.

”Fine... Next time, charge your phone battery.” Su Yu Qing let the matter go.

”Mum, is father home?” Mu Yian asked about her fatherʼs whereabouts.

”He is in the study room. You can go there if you want to see him.” Su Yu Qing said.

”Hmm... I am going to see Father first. I have something to talk to him.” Mu Yian said.

”Hmm...” Su Yu Qing responded to Mu Yian. Then she asked Mu Kuang He. ”Do you already have dinner?”

”No yet. I am starving, Mum.” Mu Kuang He rubbed his stomach.

”You must be tired of studying. You should not forget to eat next time. I will ask Aunty Mian to prepare something for you.” Su Yu Qing said.

”Yes, Mum is the best.” Mu Kuang He grinned.

Mu Yian already arrived in front of her fatherʼs study room. She knocked on the door. She heard her father say, ”Come on”. So, she opened the door and entered the study room. ”Father...” Mu Yian called her father who still looked at his phone.

Mu Li Zei looked up at Mu Yian. ”What is it?”

”I saw that girl today.” Mu Yian said.

”Who?” Mu Li Zei asked.

”That Tang Yu Qi.” Mu Yian stated.

Mu Li Zei was now totally focused on Mu Yian.

”Where?” Mu Li Zei asked more.

”At our hotel. Apparently, she was having dinner with Grandfather.” Mu Yian told the truth. ”What? They meet?” Mu Li Zei could not believe his ears.

”Yes.” Mu Yian nodded.

Mu Li Zei started to laugh. He could not believe that his father would meet the girl openly.

”Is he having dinner with that girl alone?” Mu Li Zei asked.
