Reborn : Space Intelligent Woman

2185  Chapter 2185: Was Happy

The Qinyue Group made a statement about the news. In the statement, Yu Qi denied being pregnant and only accompanied some friends to the check-up. That seemed to quiet down the netizen. The netizensʼ responses were amusing.

”What a pity. I have been waiting for my future husband. Hope Miss Tang and Colonel Long donʼt mind an older daughter-in-law.” ”Yeah... Why are you stealing my sentence?” Yu Qi did not pay attention to the public response. She was talking to Lin Ming Shu about her pregnancy. Lin Ming Shu asked for some tips that she could have done to protect her pregnancy. Yu Qi told her that she needed to be extra careful for this first trimester because it was a delicate time for the baby to form. Yu Qi also told her that she could not be too much stress. ”And remember not to have intercourse for the first three months.” Yu Qi slowed her voice while telling Lin Ming Shu about this.

Lin Ming Shu smiled awkwardly. ”Ha... Ha... I know.” Huang Guan Lan told his family and his in-law family to tell them about the news. Huang Family and Lin Family were happy to hear the news. It would be the first grandchild for both of the family. Of course, they would be delighted. Huang Family, who lived nearby, came right away after being told by Huang Guan Lan. Mrs Huang rushed in to see her daughter-in-law leaving Mr Huang behind. ”Mother...” Lin Ming Shu was surprised to see her mother-in-law. ”What are you doing here?” She did not know that her husband already told the family about this. ”Of course, we come to see you. How are you feeling?” Mrs Huang smiled while asking her daughter-in-law.

”You already know?” Lin Ming Shu seemed to understand the situation.

”Yeah. That brat called us just now telling us about the pregnancy. He finally had done a good job.” Mrs Huang said. Lin Ming Shu smiled shyly. ”Of course.” Mrs Huang responded. Mr Huang finally came in. ”This house needs to change a little bit.” Mrs Huang said while looking around.

”What needs to be changed?” Huang Guan Lan asked his mother.

”Change the bedroom to downstairs.” Mrs Huang said.

”I already have done it.” Huang Guan Lan said.

”Good. Next, you need to put the thick and soft carpet around.” Mrs Huang said.

”I will ask my assistant to contact the carpet company.” Huang Guan Lan said.

Both mother and son discussed the things while ignoring the people who were still there. Long Hui greeted Mr Huang. ”Uncle Huang.” ”Hmm... How are you?” Mr Huang asked.

”I am fine.” Long Hui nodded.

”How is your grandfather?” Mr Huang asked.

”I think he is in good shape. Even though he is retired, he still goes to the military ground and trains the new recruits.” Long Hui said.

Mr Huang laughed it out. ”Yeah, I donʼt think I can imagine your grandfather sitting and doing nothing. By the way, what are you doing coming to Capital City? I heard that you have been stationed in FiNN City.” ”I have some business here as well as my fiance. We just stopped by. We are going to leave later.” Long Hui said.

Hearing Long Huiʼs statement, Lin Ming Shu asked Yu Qi. ”Are you going to leave today?” ”Yeah. We have another matter which needs our attention.” Yu Qi nodded.

”Oh... I see. Then, I can not stop you then.” Lin Ming Shu said.

Then, the Lin Family and Huang Su Nie, Huang Guang Lanʼs younger sister, arrived. Like Mrs Huang, Mrs Lin rushed in leaving her husband behind. She wanted to see her daughter so much.

”Oh, my dear. You are finally pregnant. Congratulations. How are you feeling right now? Do you feel any pain or nausea?” Mrs Lin asked while grabbing her daughter.

”Mom... I am fine. You donʼt need to worry about me.” Lin Ming Shu said.

”Oh, Shu Rong... You are here.” Mrs Huang said.

Shu Rong was Mrs Linʼs name. ”Yes.” Mrs Lin smiled at Mrs Huang. Both women started to talk about what they needed to do for Lin Ming Shu. Huang Su Nie hugged Lin Ming Shu. ”Congratulations Sister Ming Shu.” Huang Su Nie said. ”Ah... I can not wait to be an auntie.” ”You might spoiled him or her too much later judging from your behavior.” Yu Qi said.

”Of course.” Huang Su Nie did not deny it.

Yu Qi smiled when she watched the scene in front of her. A new life indeed brought a lot of joys for others. This child had been blessed by heaven. He had been chosen to get born into a loving family.

It seemed the time is rushing. Long Hui and Yu Qi needed to leave to board the flight which had been scheduled at 8 p.m. The time already showed 5.30 p.m.

The airport was not far from Huang Guan Lanʼs house. It took about one hour to get there when the traffic was clear. But since it was the peak hours when people got off from their work and would return home, the traffic jam could not be avoided. So, they needed to leave earlier. Huang Guan Lan asked the driver to send them to the airport. Long Hui and Yu Qi thanked him for that.

Daily Mini Scene

Long Hui: Are you sleepy? Yu Qi: I am...

Long Hui: Then, sleep.

Yu Qi: But the flight is short.

Long Hui: Itʼs okay.

Yu Qi: But I donʼt want to be embarrassed again by letting you carry me out of the flight. （>﹏
