The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2595 The brutal nature of Order

The Nine Empyrean Suns Universe entered a brief and uneasy period of silence following the fall of the Empyrean World at the hands of the Curse Eaters. It was not peace, nor even a true pause, but rather a fragile stillness born from exhaustion. Both sides withdrew momentarily, gathering their strength, tending to their wounded, and preparing for what was inevitably to come.

Unfortunately, that silence did not last long.

The flames of war reignited with even greater ferocity.

”RUMBLE!”

The fabric of space-time itself trembled violently across the void as a battle of gargantuan proportions unfolded once more. Reality warped under the strain of clashing forces, and the distant stars flickered as if reacting to the overwhelming power unleashed across the battlefield.

The armies of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance surged forward again, their roars echoing through the void as they charged with unwavering determination. Every warrior fought with all the strength and will they could muster, driven by the desperate need to protect their home from annihilation.

The battlefield quickly descended into chaos.

Screams, blood, and shattered bodies spread across countless kilometers, painting a grim picture of the brutality of war. Limbs were torn apart, energy blasts obliterated entire formations, and the void itself seemed to bleed under the weight of the carnage. It was not a battle of honor or strategy, but a raw, merciless display of survival.

A war without restraint.

At the very center of this devastation stood two figures whose clash overshadowed everything else.

One radiated brilliance and overwhelming authority.

A crown formed from eight platinum stars intertwined with golden plasma hovered above his head, each star infused with the essence of the Universe Matrix. Massive wings of crimson plasma extended from his back, channeling cosmic power that distorted the space around him. His movements were impossibly fast, each action precise and devastating.

Every strike he unleashed carried crushing force, capable of tearing through worlds, and even the slightest motion of his fingers could release beams of golden energy that pierced through entire battlefields.

From time to time, a ninth platinum star flickered into existence above his crown, its unstable presence signaling that he stood on the verge of a breakthrough. The power he radiated was so immense that even Limit Alpha Omega Overgods would tremble in its presence.

He was Noah.

The NeoPrimarch.

And yet, despite all that overwhelming strength, he was matched.

Standing before him was a figure that embodied raw, unrestrained power.

A young man with short dark hair and a perfectly sculpted physique, his body seemed to contain endless vitality and strength. Runic markings flowed across every inch of his skin, pulsing with energy that resonated with the Laws of the universe.

Everything about him screamed power.

But it was his eyes that stood out the most.

Deep purple, filled with an unnatural intensity, they radiated a force that seemed to pierce through reality itself. Behind him floated an ethereal wheel, constantly rotating, emanating a mysterious energy that bore a strange resemblance to the Runic Sets used by the higher echelon of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance.

He was the strongest Curse Eater to ever set foot in this universe.

Nito.

A name that inspired both dread and reluctant respect.

The two clashed.

Their fists collided with explosive force, generating shockwaves so powerful that they carved out a vacuum around them. Space itself was pushed away, forming a temporary void where nothing else could exist.

Even the strongest warriors from both sides dared not approach.

Golden and purple energy erupted from their clash, spreading outward in all directions, annihilating anything caught in its path. Noah and Nito pushed their bodies to the limit, each seeking to overpower the other, yet neither could gain a decisive advantage.

The stalemate persisted.

Finally, the energy between their blows reached a critical point and exploded outward, forcing both fighters to retreat.

In that instant, Noahʼs eyes flashed.

He vanished.

Slipping into the Endless River, he reappeared directly above Nito before the Curse Eater could fully regain control of his body. His expression hardened, killing intent blazing within his gaze as he extended his index and middle fingers.

The Light of the Flow gathered at their tips, condensing into an edge sharper than even a Half-Step Fourth Realm weapon.

Then he struck.

The slash descended toward Nitoʼs back with lethal precision.

For a brief moment, death loomed.

Nitoʼs eyes widened, yet there was no panic, no fear.

The wheel behind him glowed.

It turned.

In the next instant, his body became translucent, as though it had shifted outside the bounds of reality itself.

Noahʼs attack passed straight through him.

Harmless.

The NeoPrimarchʼs eyes narrowed.

This was not the first time he had witnessed that ability, yet understanding it remained elusive. It was not simple intangibility, nor was it conventional phasing. There was a deeper principle at work.

But there was no time to analyze.

The moment Noahʼs attack failed, the wheel shifted again.

Before he could react, Nitoʼs leg lashed out.

”BOOM!”

Noah was blasted across the void, his body sent flying like a comet. However, he reacted instantly, twisting his form mid-flight to disperse the momentum and regain control almost immediately.

His expression remained calm.

Observant.

Although Nito could achieve incredible speed using that ability, there was a noticeable trade-off. The power behind his attacks diminished slightly during those moments, suggesting that each of his abilities carried a cost.

Nothing he did was without consequence.

The two figures locked eyes once more.

For a brief moment, they simply stood in the void, walking slowly through the emptiness, measuring one another, analyzing, calculating.

Then—

They vanished again.

Their clash resumed with even greater intensity.

To an outside observer, it was a battle of overwhelming power, a relentless exchange of lethal blows fueled by genuine killing intent. However, those with deeper insight would notice something crucial.

Neither of them was truly going all out.

They fought fiercely, pushed their limits, and unleashed devastating techniques, yet neither was willing to stake everything on a single decisive moment.

In Nitoʼs case, the reason was obvious.

His side was winning.

The Curse Eaters held the advantage across the battlefield, steadily pushing back the forces of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance. There was no need for him to risk everything for pride or arrogance when victory was already within reach.

Noahʼs situation, however, was different.

The alliance was losing.

Eliminating Nito could shift the entire balance of the war, potentially turning defeat into victory. And yet, the Crimson Exarch held back.

Because to secure that victory, he would need to risk his life.

And the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe… was not worth it.

Noah was a Master of Order, the progenitor of an Apex Race, a being capable of traversing universes with his physical body. Why would he risk his existence for a universe so weak as the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe?

Of course, such thoughts never left his lips.

To the warriors of the alliance, Noah was a symbol of hope, a pillar of strength, a legendary figure worthy of admiration and trust. He made sure to maintain that image, fighting valiantly, displaying power and resolve that inspired those around him as it help him develop the Power of Order.

But beneath that façade lay a cold, calculated truth.

He would leave.

The moment this war ceased to benefit him, the moment the value of this universe diminished, he would abandon it without hesitation.

That was the nature of Order.

Precise.

Unfeeling.

Brutal.

It did not value loyalty or emotion, only utility.
