The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2567 Anark and Adam

Anarkʼs heart trembled for the briefest instant under the weight of shock, but before even a single heartbeat could pass, his eyes ignited with unwavering determination and razor-sharp focus. There was no room for hesitation. The moment of surprise had not been enough, and he refused to let the opportunity slip away.

At that instant, the world around him seemed to change.

Crimson scars spread across his vision, thin fractures etched into the fabric of reality itself. They were not physical cracks, but conceptual flaws-weak points in existence that only someone of Anarkʼs level could perceive and exploit. The golden lotus was flawless in appearance, radiant and absolute, yet even it was not beyond imperfection.

And Anark saw it.

Before his momentum could fade, he twisted his entire body, channeling every ounce of force through his frame, from his legs to his core, into his shoulder, and finally into his arm. His open palm curled into a fist as he redirected the full weight of his strike, aiming not at the lotus itself, but at its flaw.

”CRACK!”

The sound shattered the stillness.

The white-haired young manʼs eyes widened in disbelief. Being caught off guard was already shocking, but witnessing someone break his Fourth Realm defensive ability with such ease defied reason.

Yet it happened.

The golden lotus fractured, its radiant petals splintering apart as Anarkʼs fist pierced through its protection and struck the young man square in the chest. The force of the blow was immense, tearing through his clothing and sending him hurtling backward like a comet.

He was blasted out of the skyscraper.

The crushing gravity of Earth immediately took hold, preventing him from stabilizing himself or regaining control as he plummeted toward the ground. However, he had barely descended a few meters when Anark appeared at the edge of the shattered floor.

Without hesitation, he leapt.

His figure shot downward like a falling star, closing the distance in an instant before slamming into the young man midair. Grabbing him by the chest, Anark drove him downward with overwhelming force, both of them crashing into the ceiling of a nearby building.

The impact was catastrophic.

The structure cracked under the pressure, walls fracturing as the two figures tore through it and plunged into the floors below. Rubble and debris exploded outward, filling the air as the building trembled under the strain.

When the motion finally stopped, Anark stood amidst the ruins.

His entire body trembled slightly from the impact. Even for him, crashing through the reinforced structure of Earth felt like smashing through a thin Universal Wall. The resistance of this place was crazy. But there was no time to recover.

His eyes sharpened as he raised his fist, preparing to bring it down upon the young manʼs head and end the battle in a single decisive blow.

Yet before his strike could fall-

A hand touched his chest.

In the next instant, an explosion of unimaginable force erupted from that contact, blasting Anark across the ruined corridor. His body tore through the remains of the structure, smashing through walls before he twisted midair, dispersing the energy and regaining his footing in a combat stance.

His eyes narrowed immediately.

A burn mark spread across his chest.

The attack had been instantaneous, yet it had scorched his flesh with

a heat that could melt Half-Step Fourth Realm treasures. That alone confirmed it without doubt.

His opponent was a true Fourth Realm life form.

But he was not unscathed.

The young man rose slowly from the rubble, his expression calm, almost unnervingly composed. His chest bore the mark of Anarkʼs

strike.

”You cracked my sternum... and my ribs,” the young man said in an even tone, as if describing something trivial.

There was no anger.

No fear.

Not even pain.

His emotional control was absolute.

His gaze sharpened as he focused on Anark, analyzing him with quiet

intensity.

”You are not an agent of Paradise...” he continued, his voice steady. ”A True Primordial?”

As the words left his mouth, a flicker of realization passed through his

eyes, followed by a complicated expression.

”You look different than the last time I saw you, Anark.”

Anarkʼs eyes narrowed slightly, and after a brief pause, he replied, his

voice equally steady.

”You have changed as well, Adam. Neither of us is the same as we were during the Great War.”

At the mention of that time, Adamʼs posture relaxed slightly, and a fleeting expression of remembrance crossed his face, tinged with something deeper-pain, perhaps, or regret. Those emotions lasted less than a blink of an eye, composure returning.

”So,” Adam said quietly, ”have you come for vengeance?”

Anarkʼs fists clenched, and a fierce killing intent burned within his

gaze.

”Do you mean vengeance for betraying us... after I and my people fought by your side?”

There was no hesitation in Adamʼs voice.

No attempt to hide the truth.

He gave a profound nod.

”That is exactly what I mean.”

The casual acceptance of those words only made Anarkʼs grip tighten

further, but he forced himself to remain composed.

”I did not come for vengeance, Adam,” he said firmly. ”I came to save

my home.”

”I see.”

Adam nodded once more, his expression returning to calm neutrality. Then, without warning, he bent his knees slightly, golden light flashing through his eyes as his muscles tensed.

”In that case,” he said coldly, ”I will kill you now.”

A faint smile appeared on Anarkʼs face, equally cold, equally resolute.

”Funny,” he replied. ”I was thinking the same.”

Their gazes locked.

The pressure between them began to rise, their physical presence alone distorting the air as their power built. The ground beneath their feet trembled subtly as both prepared to strike.

And then-

They moved.

”BOOM!”

A shockwave erupted the instant their fists collided, arcs of lightning

bursting outward from the point of impact. What appeared to be a simple clash of fists was, in truth, the collision of two cosmic powers. Had this battle taken place anywhere other than Earth, continents would have been torn apart, and the sky itself would have ignited in

response.

But here...

The destruction was contained.

And yet, the force was no less terrifying.

Anark clenched his teeth as he twisted his fist, forcing Adam backward before immediately following with an elbow strike aimed at his face. Just as the blow was about to land, the golden light in Adamʼs eyes flared, allowing him to react at the last possible moment. With flawless precision, he twisted his body backward, evading the

strike from what seemed like an impossible angle, and from that position, he launched a kick straight toward Anarkʼs head. Anark raised his arm just in time to block.

Even so, the force sent him crashing into the wall behind him.

Another kick followed instantly, but this time Anark dodged, slipping

past it before lunging forward and delivering a powerful strike to

Adamʼs chest, sending him flying across the hall.

Yet Adam recovered almost instantly.

He shifted to the side, narrowly avoiding a follow-up attack that

shattered the wall where he had stood, before countering with a

precise and devastating strike of his own.

The battle had truly begun.

And with every exchange, both warriors revealed the terrifying superiority of their martial skill.
