The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2554: Phoenix Bloodline

Cain inhaled slowly, calming the storm within him. Then he raised his hand.

At once, reality trembled.

A massive gate materialized above him, so vast that it stretched across the sky, covering the firmament as far as the eye could see. Its presence was overwhelming, radiating an authority that dwarfed the entire realm beneath it.

With a single thought, the gate opened.

Beyond it lay a dimension of unimaginable scale.

An ocean of blood raged within, surging with power and cosmic force. Its waves carried principles so profound that no Third Realm lifeform could ever hope to comprehend them.

Cain gazed into that dimension, a meaningful smile forming on his lips.

Then, with another thought, the Nirvana Crown Prince appeared before him.

The Nirvana Crown Prince’s eyes were empty.

Although he was still alive and his soul remained intact, the damage he had suffered was far beyond what he could recover from on his own. Even with his overwhelming regenerative abilities, his body and mind had been pushed to a state of irreversible collapse. However, none of that mattered anymore.

Without hesitation or ceremony, Cain cast the broken body into the Scarlet Throne.

The moment it entered, everything changed.

The connection between the Nirvana Crown Prince and the outside universe was severed instantly. His existence, in its entirety, now belonged to the domain of the throne. There was no resistance, no struggle, no lingering will that could oppose what was happening. The authority of the Chaos Scarlet Throne was absolute.

The body fell into the vast ocean of blood within the throne’s dimension.

As it sank beneath the surface, a transformation began.

In the Scarlet Thrones forged through the Power of Order, enemies were reshaped into pieces of the land itself. Their bodies became part of the terrain, while their minds and souls were bound into endless cycles of pain and suppression.

That suffering was not merely punishment. It served a purpose, preserving the sharpness of their Primordial Essence and ensuring that their power would never dull.

And equally importantly, it ensured order. No matter how strong the entity inside the throne had once been, rebellion became impossible under that absolute domination.

It reflected the philosophy behind its creator. Cain’s past self had believed in control through pain, in forging obedience through unrelenting torment.

Cain did not reject that idea outright. After all, those sent into the throne were his enemies. Their suffering had never been something he particularly cared about.

However, the Power of Chaos followed a different path.

Through his connection to the throne, Cain could perceive everything that occurred within it. He watched as the Nirvana Crown Prince’s form began to dissolve. His human shape faded, breaking apart into streams of energy. His personality, his memories, his ego—everything that defined him as an individual—was stripped away.

None of it was needed.

Chaos did not dominate through suppression.

It governed through transformation and integration.

The existence of those who entered the throne was not destroyed but purified, cleansed of instability and contradiction, and reborn as something new. They became part of a greater whole, their essence harmonized with the domain itself.

A sharp, resonant cry echoed through the dimension.

”SHRIIIK!”

Moments later, a magnificent phoenix emerged from the ocean of blood.

Its wings stretched wide as it ascended, flames trailing behind it like streams of living light. It soared through the vast dimension with a presence that radiated calm and balance. There was no hatred within it, no ambition, no trace of the Nirvana Crown Prince’s former self.

It had been reborn as an entirely new entity.

Its mind was filled with peace.

A smile slowly formed on Cain’s face as he felt the tranquil nature of the phoenix’s soul through their connection. The transformation had been flawless and extended beyond the throne.

Flames erupted around Cain’s body, but these were not the white flames born from his Ancestor Drop. These flames carried a different essence.

They were the flames of rebirth.

The flames of a phoenix.

Through the bond between the Chaos Scarlet Throne and his own existence, Cain’s bloodline began to evolve. The phoenix’s nature flowed back into him, merging with his own essence and reshaping one of his greatest weaknesses.

Cain raised his hand, watching the flames dance across his skin.

”They are part of me now.”

His smile widened, filled with satisfaction.

”For the first time, my regeneration has caught up with the rest of my power.”

For a long time, his offensive strength, speed, and endurance had far surpassed his ability to recover from damage. That imbalance had always been a hidden flaw, one that could prove fatal in prolonged battles. Now, that weakness had been addressed in the most profound way possible.

Cain inhaled deeply as the flames slowly subsided. With a thought, the gates of the Scarlet Throne closed and vanished from sight, returning to his Ancestor Drop.

Silence settled around him.

He turned his attention inward, analyzing every aspect of his existence. The results left even him momentarily stunned.

The speed of his growth in Paradise was extraordinary.

Of course, that progress had not come without cost. The number of times he had come close to death was countless. Each advancement had been earned through struggle, risk, and relentless pressure.

However, there was no denying that the speed at which he had advanced was incredible, even by the standards of the greatest geniuses in the universe.

In the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe, Cain had been a dominant force. There had been opponents capable of matching him, but more often than not, he stood at the top of the hierarchy.

A big fish in a not-so-small pond.

Paradise was different.

Here, he was still powerful from the very beginning, thanks to arriving with an Alpha Omega Overgod Primordial Essence, but the scale had changed completely.

The Scarlet King jumped from a pond into a shark-infested ocean.

Most who found themselves in such a situation were crushed.

They faltered, unable to adapt to the drastic change, and were eventually consumed by the overwhelming forces around them.

Cain had done the opposite.

He had adapted.

He had risen.

He had surpassed the limits imposed on him, evolving multiple aspects of his existence into the Fourth Realm—a level he had never even touched before arriving here.

Despite that, he knew it was not enough.

Deep within his heart, he could feel it.

Something was coming.

A threat far greater than anything he had faced before.

It was a presence so overwhelming that even beings like the Ancient One and the Monster of the Root—two of the most terrifying opponents he had ever encountered—would seem insignificant in comparison.

If he wanted even the slightest chance of survival, he needed to prepare.

Without wasting a second, Cain rose into the sky. His expression turned cold and focused as he extended his senses, connecting with the laws of the Ninth Realm through the Power of Chaos.

Slowly, the entire realm unfolded within his perception. Every landmass, every stronghold, every lingering trace of life appeared in his mind as a complete and detailed image.

Once he had fully grasped it, he moved.

With a single motion of his hand, two massive spheres manifested before him.

One was filled with souls.

Billions of them.

The other contained Ancestor Drops, each one pulsing with condensed power and vitality.

Cain opened his eyes, and within them burned a fierce and unwavering determination.
