The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2562 A land of true happiness

Suspicion still lingered in the eyes of the newly born True Depravita, its small draconic form tense as it observed the Curse Eater before it. Although the manʼs voice had been calm and reassuring, instinct was not something that could be silenced so easily, especially for a being that had only just come into existence within a world filled with violence and predation.

Sensing that hesitation, the Curse Eater allowed one of his Depravita Aspects to manifest. The shift was subtle, yet profoundly meaningful, as a familiar aura emerged from him, one that resonated deeply with the newbornʼs nature. It was neither chaotic nor oppressive, but instead carried a strange sense of balance that the young being could instinctively recognize.

That alone was enough to calm it.

The tension in the small dragon-like creatureʼs body slowly faded, and after a brief moment of hesitation, it gave a cautious nod. Though confusion still lingered in its gaze, a fragile sense of trust had begun to take root.

Without rushing, the two began their journey toward the depths of the Tenth Empyrean World. The Curse Eater deliberately matched his pace to that of the newborn, ensuring that the latter would not feel overwhelmed. As they moved, he began to speak, his tone patient, almost instructive.

”You have been chosen,” he said, his voice steady as it echoed softly through the vast sky. ”Chosen to become part of our race and to grow alongside your future partner.”

The True Depravita tilted its head slightly, clearly struggling to process the meaning behind those words. Its understanding of existence was still in its infancy, and concepts such as race, purpose, and partnership were far beyond its current grasp.

”What... am I?” it asked after a moment, its voice uncertain yet sincere. ”And what is this place?”

The Curse Eaterʼs expression softened slightly, but instead of offering a direct answer, he shook his head.

”These are things you must come to understand through experience,” he replied. ”If I were to explain everything now, it would only hinder your growth. It is better that you learn about your transcendence as it unfolds, as that will allow your will and your ego to remain pure.”

Hidden within the folds of reality, Anark followed closely behind them, his presence completely concealed. He listened carefully to every word, analyzing not only what was said but also what was deliberately left unsaid. A faint frown appeared on his face as he realized that whatever truth lay behind this system, it was not something that would be revealed easily.

He had hoped to uncover everything at once, to grasp the full picture without delay, yet it seemed that patience would be required.

The journey itself was slow. Although the True Depravita possessed far greater potential than ordinary beings at its level, its speed was still that of a newly advanced Divine Ascension Master. Luckily, the immense gravity of the Tenth Empyrean World accelerated their descent.

When they finally passed through the dense layers of clouds, Anarkʼs vision opened to the true splendor of the world beneath.

Even with his caution preventing him from extending his consciousness too far, what he perceived through his senses alone was enough to leave him in awe. The land stretched endlessly, vast beyond measure, with energy so dense and pure that it manifested as visible currents flowing across the sky like luminous rivers. Towering mountains pierced the heavens, while unfathomably deep chasms carved through the land as if reality itself had been split apart.

Everything about this world mirrored the structure of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe, yet it existed on a far grander scale, as

though every fundamental principle had been elevated to a higher tier of existence.

In the distance, colossal beasts roamed freely, their bodies so immense that they seemed to rival entire regions of land. Even from afar, their auras radiated an overwhelming pressure that spoke of unimaginable power.

And yet, despite all this grandeur, something felt... wrong.

As Anarkʼs perception swept across the land, his eyes gradually narrowed. The issue was not the world itself, but those who inhabited

it.

There were cities, each one magnificent in design and structure, radiating a level of sophistication and power that far surpassed

anything in his own universe. However, their populations were astonishingly small. Across an entire continent, he could barely sense more than a few hundred thousand intelligent beings.

For a world of such scale, this was absurd.

It should have housed billions, perhaps even trillions.

Yet it did not.

Even more unsettling was the absence of children. Every single humanoid lifeform he could detect in the vicinity was a Curse Eater, with no sign of natural offspring anywhere.

Even if higher cultivation made reproduction difficult, that alone

could not explain such an extreme imbalance.

As those thoughts took root in his mind, Anark continued to observe in silence while the Curse Eater and the newborn descended toward

one of the cities.

Despite its small population, the city was vibrant, filled with life and energy. A grand festival was taking place, and the entire population appeared to be gathered in celebration. Music echoed through the air, lights shimmered like stars, and laughter flowed freely among the

people.

At the center of it all stood a couple, Curse Eater with features of the Godslayer Human Race and Inferno Daemon Race.

However, it quickly became clear that they were not the true focus of the celebration.

It was the child within the womanʼs womb.

Anarkʼs gaze sharpened as he focused on the unborn life. Through his refined perception, he could clearly see that the child was not a Curse Eater, but rather a hybrid of the Six Sacred Races.

That only deepened the mystery.

If Curse Eaters were born from the fusion of souls, then it made sense

for their offspring to reflect their original races. Yet if that were the case, then children should not be so rare, especially considering the extraordinary fertility of the Six Sacred Races.

And yet, here they were, celebrating a single unborn child as if it were

a miracle.

As Anark continued to observe, he noticed something that unsettled him even more than the inconsistencies in logic.

The happiness was genuine.

The mother and her partner radiated pure love as they cherished the life growing within her, while the people surrounding them shared in that joy with complete sincerity. There was no trace of deception, no hidden malice, only a deep sense of unity and belonging.

That level of authenticity disturbed the True Primordial. When the celebration finally reached the edge of the city, the couple

ascended a grand altar. At that moment, the Third Realm Curse Eater

arrived alongside the newly born True Depravita.

The reaction was immediate.

The couple bowed deeply, their expressions filled with gratitude and

reverence.

”We thank you, Sacred Spirit,” they said, their voices trembling with emotion. ”And we welcome you into our family.”

Their Depravita Aspects manifested and followed suit, bowing with

equal respect. Then, one by one, the entire city lowered themselves, offering the same gesture.

The newly born True Depravita froze, completely overwhelmed by

the scene unfolding before it.

It did not understand why it was being revered.

It did not understand what was being asked of it.

That was when the Third Realm Curse Eater spoke once more, his

voice calm and inviting.

”You may fuse with their son,” he said gently. ”In doing so, you will

allow him to grow within our world. You will remain yourself, yet you

will also become part of something greater.”

His gaze softened as he continued.

”You will gain a brother, one who will stand beside you for eternity.

However, this must be your choice.”

A brief silence followed as all eyes turned toward the newborn.

”Tell me,” the Curse Eater asked, his tone almost tender, ”do you wish to become one of us?”
