The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2425: Fourth Realm Treasures

”ZNNNN—!”

The shrill scream of flesh being torn apart echoed across the battlefield as the Aztorus King drove an obsidian bone sword straight through the chest of the Kalous King.

Lortar managed to grab the blade and, using all his power, he stopped it from moving down.

The blade was grotesque and ancient. Its surface looked like polished fossilized bone, black as voidstone, and embedded within its hilt was a single living eye. That eye pulsed rhythmically, radiating temporal power so dense and refined that even the aura of Eonar himself was overshadowed by it.

Time warped around the weapon.

Space trembled.

A flash of dread crossed Lortar’s eyes the instant he recognized it.

”You brought the Blade of the End of Times to this fight...” the Kalous King growled, blood spilling from his lips. ”I thought your kingdom had sealed it away after the Omen Soul inside went berserk and devoured the old King of Aztorus.”

Eonar smiled.

It was cold.

And proud.

”My father was weak,” he replied calmly. ”He lacked the will—and the Ancestor Drop—to control such a weapon. His death was deserved.”

He twisted the blade slightly.

The flesh around the wound began to rot and collapse at an accelerated rate, as if centuries of decay were being forced into a single heartbeat.

”I am different,” Eonar continued. ”My will is superior to that of the Omen Soul, and my Ancestor Drop resonates perfectly with it. I can drive its power to its absolute limit.”

Lortar’s expression hardened.

He did not scream.

Instead, he inhaled deeply and extended one hand.

A colossal halberd materialized in his grasp, and he immediately attacked with it, forcing Eonar to retrieve the weapon and pullback. Yet even throgut the Aztorus King was fast, a burnign wounds appeared on his waist.

The weapon summoned by the Kalous King was majestic and terrifying—its shaft forged from unknown crimson metal, its blade edged with swirling plasma that burned so hot it distorted the air itself. The moment it appeared, the surface of the Ocean of the Blood Sun below began to evaporate violently, massive clouds of blood-steam rising into the sky.

Eonar’s smile vanished.

”So those strange cubes weren’t the only gifts your son brought back from the Dark Blood Kingdom,” he muttered.

Lortar did not respond.

He lowered his stance, gripping the halberd with both hands as the temperature around him skyrocketed. Space itself began to melt, bending and warping around his silhouette until his figure appeared fractured and unstable.

Eonar’s killing intent surged.

He raised the Blade of the End of Times high above his head.

Temporal power erupted outward, and dozens—no, hundreds—of overlapping afterimages of Eonar manifested in all directions, each one real, each one deadly.

In less than a blink—

They collided.

The moment blade met halberd, an explosion of red and blue energy tore the heavens apart. For a brief instant, a miniature sun was forged in the sky, radiating destruction in all directions. Shockwaves flattened clouds, shattered mountains in the distance, and forced even Alpha–Omega Overgod Royal Blutlinie to retreat.

The kings’ battle had entered an entirely new stage.

Cain watched everything.

Every movement.

Every fluctuation of energy.

Every interaction between weapon, bloodline, and Omens.

Awe and shock rippled through his soul.

He had seen countless powerful artifacts across the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe and the Crimson World—but these weapons were different.

”They are beyond the limits of the Third Realm,” Cain realized. ”I can’t confirm whether they qualify as true Fourth Realm Treasures... but they are unquestionably superior to any Alpha–Omega Overgod weapon. The amplification they provide is horrifying.”

Caution stirred within him.

But his determination did not waver.

This war would be the crucible through which his new body was forged.

As the two kings unleashed their full might, the rest of the battlefield followed suit.

Royal Blutlinie on both sides escalated their attacks, no longer holding anything back. Prima Deity and ArchDeity Blutlinie clashed in bloody chaos, countless bodies falling into the Ocean of the Blood Sun, where the waves devoured them indiscriminately.

Ally or enemy—it made no difference.

The ocean consumed all.

Just as the battle reached its zenith, a violent explosion erupted in the distance.

The two metallic cubes summoned earlier by the Kalous King surged out of the blood ocean.

They were heavily damaged—runes shattered, surfaces cracked—but their cores still pulsed with terrifying power. Without hesitation, they flashed toward the kings’ battlefield.

Eonar frowned deeply.

Those artifacts were extremely dangerous. Even with the upper hand, he could not afford such interference.

Lortar, however, smiled.

With those cubes assisting him, the balance could finally tip.

But his triumph was short-lived.

Hundreds of colossal blood arms erupted from the Ocean of the Blood Sun, wrapping around the metallic cubes and halting them midair. Crimson chains of liquid force tightened, grinding against the constructs and preventing their advance.

”I can’t hold them for long!” The Blood King’s voice thundered across the battlefield. ”Kill him—now!”

Though the warning was directed at Eonar, its effect rippled across every front.

The war exploded into even greater ferocity.

Both sides abandoned defense entirely, focusing solely on annihilation.

Eonar’s lips curled into a savage grin as dark thoughts crossed his mind.

”Thank you, Blood King.

For this, I will ensure your death is painless.”

Burning his life force without hesitation, Eonar pushed himself beyond his limits. The Blade of the End of Times screamed as its temporal power intensified, distorting Lortar’s perception, delaying his reactions by fractions of a second.

That was enough.

The obsidian blade tore through Lortar’s chest once more, crossing the previous wound and carving a blazing temporal cross into his flesh.

Lortar staggered.

For the first time, true danger flickered in his eyes.

Eonar raised his sword, ready to sever the Kalous King’s head—

When suddenly—

”BOOM!”

In the distance, the blood arms exploded apart.

The metallic cubes finally broke free.

Both unleashed beams of annihilating energy, slamming directly into Eonar’s body.

The battlefield was swallowed by blinding light.
