Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 400: Discrimination

”After looking at the data from over a thousand people, it appeared that everyone got a different amount of ena. And the classification would look like this.” Vivian continued while writing the classifications.

[D Rank 1-1.9 Ena]

[C Rank 2.0-3.9 Ena]

[B Rank 4.0-6.9 Ena]

[A Rank 7.0-9.9 Ena]

[S Rank 10.0 Ena]

”From the data weʼve collected, you can actually get 1 to 10 enas from a single proto-class core. Iʼm sure that all of you are already aware of it in one way or another, feeling that you might have been able to advance rather quicker than the others and vice versa. However, youʼre unable to quantify it.”

This rank immediately caused the hall to burst into a frenzy.

”Vivian. Do you understand what youʼre talking about?”

”Are you trying to be racist?”

”Do you know that if we publicize this classification, there will be so many summoners who will lack resources because people think theyʼre not worth nurturing?”

”You must have been happy because your disciple doesnʼt need to face discrimination. He is advancing so fast, so his talent must be high.”

The people were trying to fight it out. In the end, they asked themselves how many Ena they would get from a single proto-class core.

They were scared to find out that their rank was not so high and they would be abandoned due to the lack of their growth potential.

They didnʼt want to acknowledge they had been doing the same thing to their familiars this whole time.

In the end, a lot of familiars got abandoned because of their lack of potential. They didnʼt want the same thing to be imposed on them.

Vivian looked at them with a calm expression, as though she had expected this. She casually pointed at Nathan while saying, ”If Iʼm the one trying to take advantage of this system, I wouldnʼt have brought him here. After all, he is of the lowest rank.”

”!!!” For a few seconds, the hall fell silent.

They couldnʼt believe what Vivian was saying.

”Before you are going to make another excuse, the only thing I provide him is my research as well as herbs for body strengthening. All the cores he has swallowed completely came due to his own effort, whether it was winning the competitions or hunting the aliens.

”He used every bit of his wisdom in order to maintain that lead.” Vivian stopped them from talking with one fact. They simply couldnʼt believe what they were hearing. ”However, I can also understand why you are complaining.

”As such, all I suggest is for you to take this one into consideration for the summoner registration. Of course, it can also be registered but remains a secret so that the summoners know their own talent.

”This can be discussed at a later date.” Vivian shut them up.

Obviously, some of them couldnʼt believe it. The ones who completely had no doubt in Vivianʼs words were Robert and Melissa.

Robert squinted his eyes. ʼInteresting. He can reach that level with that kind of struggle without all that support from Vivian?ʼ

Melissa bit her fingernail while thinking, ʼHow can one be so lucky? No, should I stoop so low and steal him from her?ʼ

Vivian raised two fingers. ”In any case, I will continue with my presentation. There are still two more usages that this system can give.”

Vivian knew that this would be a controversial topic. That was why she asked them to listen to her with an open mind.

However, now that she had seen their reaction, it was better to continue instead of focusing on this matter.

”Anyway, another usage is now that we have a way to measure our ena, we will be able to summon our familiars with a much more detailed process. For example, if you have 10,000 enas, you can offer an exact 5,000 enas for the familiar during the summoning ritual or maybe 5,769 enas depending on what you prefer.

”You donʼt have to guess it anymore, such as 40% of your ena or something. This tool will be able to do all that for you.” Vivian explained.

”Thatʼs…”

The people wanted to continue shooting Vivian with the previous problem, but they were distracted by this usage.

Now that they had something like this, their summoning plan would be much more accurate.

Before they could discuss it, Vivian raised her finger. ”One last thing. With the ability to measure ena, we will be able to measure our own abilities. For example, how many enas will be used if I use Ability A. How about Ability B?

”And this tool wonʼt be limited to abilities. They can measure the enas other tools used. Right now, we can only think that a lamp will be lit up for seven days if a single proto-class core is used.

”But with this measurement, we can see that the lamp might be using 0.01 ena in an hour or something.

”Hence, everything will be much more systematic for everyone.” Vivian explained.

The people dropped their jaws. That was right. How could they not think about this? The Magic Tower was more advanced in the development of knowledge and tools, so they could definitely use Vivianʼs tool in order to measure them to the exact detail.

It was as if they had just been given a ruler, so they wanted to hurry and measure all kinds of objectsʼ lengths with that ruler.

Melissa couldnʼt help but bite her lips. At this rate, Vivian would be the winner. Everyone would definitely talk about her invention.

In fact, everyone would most likely buy this tool. And Vivian, who had patented this technology, would forever be remembered and paid. All schools, including Frexia Academy, would need this tool to measure studentsʼ enas.

Little did everyone know, Vivian had one more bomb to drop.

”And this concludes the presentation of this topic. However, I have brought you one more thing that, depending on your focus, might be important. Just like this tool, this one has been patented under my and my discipleʼs names. He provides the idea while I provide the technology. And that is…”

Vivian wrote down a new title.

[Alien Core Battery.]
