Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 375: Alavenya vs Nathan (Bonus)

”I will beat you!” Alavenya leaped forth.

”Come.” Nathan smirked as he raised both hands, summoning 60 bullets. He released 56 bullets in eight batches, like how he fought against the bandits.

Alavenya frowned because the bullets actually had different trajectories and most likely tried to surround her.

”Whoa! The two summoners are finally making their move.” Filia shouted. ”Is he controlling all those bullets simultaneously?”

”Seems like it,” Sullivan confirmed.

”I have done something similar, so I know how hard it is to move all those simultaneously. No. I canʼt even move all of them at once. The number is too much.” Filia frowned. ”He is actually this capable?”

”No. He is just very clever. If you look at them, you will notice he has divided them into a group of seven. Which means he is controlling eight of them. This will reduce the burden on your mind. He spreads them in a certain shape for specific purposes.”

”Oh! Thatʼs indeed very clever. Even without god-like control, we can still do something like that. Itʼs truly interesting. Nonetheless, I believe itʼs extremely hard even if you only control eight of them. After all, the control is continuous,” Filia commented as she looked at how the bullets kept changing directions as if they were trying to fool Alavenya.

Rudeus crossed his arms, remembering how he lost. Nathan had improved his control even further. ”If Alavenya underestimates those bullets, she will suffer a loss.”

”If this is anyone else, this thing will work. However, Alavenya still has that…” Sullivan squinted his eyes.

When the bullets were about to reach her, Alavenya suddenly halted as her Ena erupted. ”Iron Body.”

The Ena burst for a split second before creating a layer of skin that protected her.

As a result, the bullets hit her but left not even a single scratch.

”!!!” Nathan looked shocked because all his bullets were rendered ineffective.

”My old friendʼs abilities are made to push the limit of a humanʼs strength. Unfortunately, thereʼs simply too big of a gap between them, so those puny bullets wonʼt be able to harm her.” Sullivan sighed.

With Alavenya continuing toward Nathan, Filia said, ”Thatʼs indeed unfortunate.”

They thought the battle had ended just because of this, but only Selena and Sera knew the truth.

”He acted really well. If we didnʼt know his abilities, we would have fallen for it.” Selena shook her head helplessly.

”Right?” Sera chuckled.

When Alavenya was about to reach him, Nathan desperately waved his hand, sending forth the last four bullets he didnʼt manage to control.

”Itʼs useless.” Alavenya didnʼt bother to stop this time. She wanted to push through and hit Nathan in the face.

All of a sudden, four explosions occurred the moment the bullets hit her.

Boom!

Alavenya was blown away, her body bouncing off the ground multiple times before stopping.

Everyone couldnʼt help but drop their jaws.

”E-Explosion?!” Filia gasped. ”Those are not normal bullets?”

Sullivan chuckled. ”As expected, I know he is not so easy to defeat. All I know is that if Alavenya underestimates him, she will have to pay the price.”

”Did he lower Alavenyaʼs guard so that he could send those explosive bullets?” Filia simply couldnʼt believe it.

Alavenya gritted her teeth as she stood up.

She glared at Nathan, who was still provoking her. ”Whatʼs wrong? Come here and beat me. Iʼm waiting.”

”You bastard.” Alavenya charged forward again. She understood that there would be explosive bullets. As long as she avoided the last four, she would be fine.

Nathan released his bullets once again. Alavenya was confident to take on the remaining bullets as long as she just kept an eye on the last four bullets that became Nathanʼs last line of defense.

”Hey. She is too rash.” Sullivan pinched the bridge of his nose.

Filia glanced at him. Before she could even speak, another explosion occurred.

Boom!

Filia turned her head back to the arena and saw Alavenya getting blown away once again.

”This… The four bullets are still… No, wait.”

”It seems you have noticed it.” Sullivan smiled wryly. ”With Alavenya being conscious of the four explosive bullets, Nathan has won the mind battle. If she is focused on the four bullets around him, Nathan will just insert the explosive bullets among the normal ones. In other words, the four bullets around him right now are just normal bullets.”

”But shouldnʼt you be able to feel the difference between normal bullets and explosive bullets? The latter requires more Ena after all.”

”Try discerning four of those bullets from a total of 60 bullets. And he can even put only two bullets among them while the other two protect him. You need to compute everything in your brain to find those bullets. With how clever he is, do you think you will win the mind battle against him? Itʼs impossible to predict it because he can change the trajectory as he will.”

Everyone was stunned. They had never heard of this kind of fighting style. However, after listening to the explanation, they knew how hard it was to fight Nathan.

Even if they knew about it, Nathan could simply take advantage of their knowledge to confuse them.

Alavenya was frustrated, especially with that grinning face still in front of her.

Alavenya bit her lips. One more time.

She charged ahead without caring about anything.

Nathan released his bullets to confuse her.

This time, before the bullets hit her, Alavenya gathered her Ena in her fist before punching the ground.

Bam!

The impact actually sent a massive shock wave as well as kicking up the rock.

A series of explosions occurred before reaching Alavenya. In fact, the shock wave carried Ena as well, which ended up neutralizing the rest of the bullets.

ʼFour explosions… I can go.ʼ

Nathan looked shocked, but instead of sending the four emergency bullets, he re-summoned all his bullets.

Alavenya halted her step and stomped the ground. She dug up the ground with her hands and tossed it toward Nathan, covering his vision.

”Sheʼs good,” Filia exclaimed. With this, Nathan wouldnʼt be able to find out where she would come from. She could break the rock and approach him head-on or go sideways.

However, Sullivan and a few others couldnʼt help but furrow their eyebrows as they noticed Nathan was merging his bullets.
